The Parenting Styles and Impact on Temper Tantrums in Early Childhood
Temper tantrums are angry reactions from early childhood that often occur when children show negative attitudes. This study aims to determine how the effect of parenting on temper tantrums in early childhood at RA Al-Azhar Langsa. This type of research is field research with a qualitative approach. Sources of data used are people who are the target of research, namely children, teachers, and parents. The data collection technique used is observation followed by interviews. To compose a research analysis, three lines of activities co-occur data reduction, presentation of three data, and concluding/verification. The author can suggest that parents can use appropriate parenting patterns to overcome children\u27s temper tantrum behavior because there are positive things that can be seen from children\u27s temper tantrum behavior. Namely, with temper tantrums, the child wants to show independence, desire, expression of expression, and frustration
Heyer's heroes: An investigation into Georgette Heyer and her literary 'mark' on the Regency hero
Georgette Heyer, a writer most famous for her Regency romances, has not entered the portals of any literary canon, yet her writing has had an impact on the literary world in terms of her contribution to popular fiction. The body of Scholarship on Georgette Heyer is not large and this thesis seeks to contribute to and extend previous research through an analysis of her heroes, in particular, the Regency hero. This investigation into her heroes reveals that Heyer was influenced by the heroes of both literary and popular writers and, in turn, helped to create a new genre of romantic hero. Georgette Heyer's two prototypes, 'Mark I: The brusque, savage sort with a foul temper' and 'Mark II: Suave, well-dressed, rich, and a famous whip', have their roots in literary tradition. A study of her novels reveals the heavy influence of pre-twentieth century writers, particularly Charlotte Br nte, Lord Byron, and Jane Austen, and the twentieth century works of Baroness Orczy. In the Regency novels, Heyer's heroes are suave, sophisticated men: Corinthians, top-sawyers, leaders of fashion - the type of archetypal hero one might expect in popular historical romance fiction. Indeed, Heyer's novels are of fundamental importance in the creation and popularising of this archetype. Georgette Heyer also redefines the romantic genre by introducing the rake as a type of anti-hero and subverting the heroic norm with dandified and plain men also playing the heroic role. Through Georgette Heyer's contribution to the Regency romance, the Heyer hero has become a recognised and frequently replicated type
The Application of Temper-Etch Inspection to Micromilled AISI 4340 Steel Specimen
abstract: Micromachining has seen application growth in a variety of industries requiring a miniaturization of the machining process. Machining at the micro level generates different cutter/workpiece interactions, generating more localized temperature spikes in the part/sample, as suggested by multiple studies. Temper-etch inspection is a non-destructive test used to identify `grind burns' or localized over-heating in steel components. This research investigated the application of temper-etch inspection to micromachined steel. The tests were performed on AISI 4340 steel samples. Finding, indications of localized over-heating was the primary focus of the experiment. In addition, change in condition between the original and post-machining hardness in the machined slot bottom was investigated. The results revealed that, under the conditions of the experiment, no indications of localized over-heating were present. However, there was a change in hardness at the bottom of the machined slot compared to the rest of the sample. Further research is needed to test the applicability of temper-etch inspection to micromilled steel and to identify the source of the change in hardness.Dissertation/ThesisM.S.Tech Technology 201

Sourcing temper sands in ancient ceramics with U–Pb ages of detrital zircons: a southwest Pacific test case
Through use of methodology common in sedimentary geology, we apply U–Pb ages of detrital zircons to source nonlocal temper sand in an ancient ceramic assemblage recovered from Roviana Lagoon of the New Georgia Group in the Solomon Islands. Most potsherds from the Roviana Lagoon contain local volcanic sand as temper, but a small number of sherds contain anomalous granitic temper sand that does not appear to be local. To determine the origin of the anomalous temper, ages of zircons from the anomalous Roviana sherds are compared with ages of zircons in materials from Lizard Island off the Queensland coast and in sand from Muyuw Island in the Solomon Sea where generically similar granitic sands occur. U–Pb analyses of grains from the Roviana sherds yield Middle Miocene ages, while analyses of grains from Lizard Island granitic bedrock, sand, and local potsherds yield much older Permian-Triassic ages, disproving any possibility that the Roviana sherds were derived from Lizard Island, but suggesting local production of the Lizard Island sherds. Ages of grains in a sand sample from Muyuw Island are nearly identical to the ages of grains in the Roviana sherds. All grains in the Muyuw sand are Middle Miocene in age, overlapping closely with the Roviana age population. This strong similarity in detrital zircon signals indicates that the Roviana temper was likely derived from Muyuw Island sands. Our test case for the use of U–Pb ages of detrital zircons in sourcing temper sands is of only regional significance, and not of intrinsic global interest. The methodology, however, should find wide applicability for sourcing temper sands in many parts of the world, for it provides more specific data for the origins of tempers than either petrographic or chemical analysis
The management of mothers with their children\u27s temper tantrums in Paliparan Site, Dasmariñas, Cavite
The study used the quantitative non-experimental descriptive research design. This was conducted at Paliparan Site in Dasmarinas, Cavite using 100 mothers with children aging from 2 years old to 6 years old with temper tantrums using purposive sampling method. The study utilized a self-made tool in collecting data by using close ended questions in which the respondents chose the answer corresponding to the given set of choices. The main statistical treatment in this study was percentage, mean, t-test and F-test. Based on the findings of the study, the following conclusions were drawn: 1) Most of the respondents were 19 to 35 years old, reached high school level, unemployed, belongs to an extended family, raised by authoritative parents, married and with number of children ranging from 3 to 4 and most of them were the eldest in the family; 2) In all aspects of management of children’s temper tantrums namely giving/distracting, verbal, physical and ignoring aspects, giving/distracting, verbal and physical were performed by the mothers most of the time while the ignoring aspect of management was sometimes used by the mothers in handling their children’s temper tantrums; 3) No significant differences existed on the educational attainment, employment status, family structure, manner by which mothers were raised, number of children and ordinal position. Significant differences existed on the age and civil status variables
Toughness of 2,25Cr-1Mo steel and weld metal
4th International Conference on the Advancement of Materials and Nanotechnology ((ICAMN) -- NOV 09-11, 2016 -- MALAYSIA2,25Cr-1Mo steel is extensively used at elevated temperature structural applications in fossil fire power plants for steam pipes, nozzle chambers and petrochemical industry for hydrocracking unit due to its excellent creep resistance and good redundant to oxidation. Also they should have acceptable weldability and toughness. The steels are supplied in quenched and tempered condition and their welded components are subjected to post-weld heat treatment (PWHT). Tempering process is carried out at 690-710 degrees C to improve toughness properties. However they are sensitive to reheat cracking and temper embrittlement. To measure temper embrittlement of the steels and their weld metal, temper embrittlement factor and formula (J factor - Watanabe and X formula-Bruscato) are used. Step cooling heat treatment is also applied to determine temper embrittlement. In this study, toughness properties of Cr Mo (W) steels were reviewed. Also transition temperature curves of 2,25Cr-1Mo steel and its weld metal were constructed before and after step cool heat treatment as experimental study. While 2,25Cr-1Mo steel as base metal was supplied, all weld metal samples were produced in Gedik Welding Company. Hardness measurements and microstructure evaluation were also carried out.Univ Teknologi MARA, Inst Sci, Ctr Nanomaterials Re

Mad Mark Twain: Rage and Rhetoric in the Life and Works of Samuel L. Clemens
Interweaving literary biography, rhetoric, and emotion studies, this dissertation argues that anger was fundamental to Mark Twain’s social and literary epistemologies. Although scholars have largely dismissed his temper as anecdotal, Twain considered anger vital to maintaining social order and strategically employed angry rhetoric in his personal and professional writings. Neither irrational nor haphazard, Twain’s vitriol demonstrates remarkable rhetorical awareness and literary artistry. Whether haranguing his publishers about dwindling profits or eviscerating his private secretary Isabel Lyon in the little-known Ashcroft-Lyon Manuscript, Twain weaponized his emotions utilizing classical Aristotelian theories of persuasion. Moreover, many defining literary tropes of Twain’s most celebrated works originated in these angry texts, further cementing their importance to his literary development. Through close reading of his newspaper articles, letters, and autobiographical texts, this study traces evolving rhetorical patterns in Twain’s vituperation and demonstrates how his anger script impacted his participation in nineteenth-century literary culture.Release after 06/19/202
The Re-invention of Sociology of Community
In today’s society the term ‘Community’ is frequently used. Politicians, religious leaders, policy makers and the media are repeatedly utilizing the concept to describe a particular scenario. Traditionally, sociologists have been fascinated with community, within a theoretical and geographical context. At the centre of the community is the debate of how external agencies work with the local community and how social policy can work at a local level. The aim of this paper is to critically explore the debate around community and how the subject has re-established itself within the discipline of sociology. To justify the arguments surrounding the Sociology of Community the author uses a case study of The United Kingdom
