No full textTrabalho de Conclusão de Curso apresentado ao Instituto Latino-Americano de Arte, Cultura e História da Universidade Federal da Integração Latino-Americana, como requisito parcial à obtenção do título de Bacharel em Música. Orientação: Prof. Dr. Maria Beatriz Cyrino Moreira.Este trabalho consiste em um estudo das relações entre o contexto histórico musical do México durante o período de vida do compositor mexicano Mario Ruiz Armengol, e as influências existentes em sua peça “Reflexión no1”. O objetivo é compreender as características musicais de Armengol a partir da “reflexión no1”, identificar pelo contexto histórico influências contidas na peça, analisar a presença de padrões comuns à música polular e os demais recursos musicais utilizados na peça, e também desenvolver sugestões interpretativas a partir do cruzamento de análise e prática da peça. As principais referências bibliográficas utilizadas para este trabalho foram “El Maestro Mario Ruiz Armengol, el Hombre, la Música y el Piano” (Pliego, 2002) e “Les oeuvres pour piano de Mario Ruiz Armengol (1914-2002)” (Barrientos, 2013). Para a análise utilizamos alguns conceitos do Método Analyzing Classical Form (Caplin, 1998) e os recursos interpretativos expostos na partitura. Constatou- se uma forte presença de Mario no meio musical do século XX, mas seguindo um estilo próprio no meio das vertentes musicais comuns de sua época. Esse estilo apresentou-se com características da música de concerto mesclado com a música popular.This work consists of a study on the relations between the historical musical context
of Mexico during the lige time of the mexican composer Mario Ruiz Armengol, and
the existing influences in the piece "Reflexion no1". The objective is understand
Armengol’s musicians caracteristics from the piece “Reflexion no1” Besides that, we
are looking for identify by the historical inflences view in the piece, analyze the
presence of comoons patterns in the popular music and others musicals resources
used in this piece, and also desenvolves interpretive suggestions between the
analyzes and practice of the piece. The main bibliographic references used for this
work were “El Maestro Mario Ruiz Armengol, el Hombre, la Música y el Piano”
(Pliego, 2002) and “Les oeuvres pour piano de Mario Ruiz Armengol (1914-2002)”
(Barrientos, 1998). For the analysis we use some concepts (Caplin, 2013) and
interpretive features exposed in the score. There was a strong presence from Mario
in the musical médium from the XX century, but following its own style in the midst of
the common musical aspects of his time. This style presented itself with features of

En segundo lugar, plantear una discusión elaborada a partir de los aportes de Ariel Castillo y Mario Jursich, expuestos mediante su participación en un conversatorio que tuvo lugar en dicho evento. Para tales efectos, el cuerpo de este artículo se encuentra ordenado en el abordaje de cuatro preguntas emergentes de la conversación con Castillo y Jursich en U Libro 2015.Writing and publishing of this article due to two specific purposes; first, to make a text containing some of the
reports concerning the issues discussed during the development of the annual celebration of U Libro 2015,
