The official version of the events states that private Efron was wounded in a battle near the Druyka village and sent to the 183rd medical-sanitary battalion. Efron’s name, however, is nowhere to be found on the list of the deceased kept in the battalion records and the private never returned to any regiment. Characterizations of matrix and operator-valued Φ-entropies, and operator Efron-Stein inequalities
Get PDF© 2016 The Author(s). We derive new characterizations of the matrix Φ-entropy functionals introduced in Chen & Tropp (Chen, Tropp 2014 Electron. J. Prob. 19, 1-30. (doi:10.1214/ejp.v19-2964)). These characterizations help us to better understand the properties of matrix Φ-entropies, and are a powerful tool for establishing matrix concentration inequalities for random matrices. Then, we propose an operator-valued generalization of matrix Φ-entropy functionals, and prove the subadditivity under Löwner partial ordering. Our results demonstrate that the subadditivity of operator-valued Φ-entropies is equivalent to the convexity. As an application, we derive the operator Efron-Stein inequality
Relationship between opening and closing of stock prices for IHSG and issuers: A case study in the Indonesia Stock Exchange
Get PDFIdentifying the most influential variables in stock price movements is a crucial aspect of developing an accurate mathematical model for predicting market trends. This study analyzes two main variables: the composite stock price index (IHSG) and the closing price of company shares, to determine the extent of their influence on stock prices on the observation day. The findings indicate that the IHSG from one day prior to the observation day does not have a significant impact on the closing price of a particular stock. This means that changes in the IHSG on the previous day cannot be used as the main indicator to predict a company's stock price on the following day. On the other hand, the closing price of a company's stock on the previous day has a strong correlation with the company's closing stock price on the observation day, which is 70%. Besides historical stock price factors, irrational investor behavior can cause volatility that does not fully reflect a stock’s fundamental value. Therefore, it is essential to consider investors' psychological aspects in stock market analysis

No full textAbstrak. Covid-19 mengubah proses pembelajaran di seluruh dunia, termasuk Indonesia. Mulai bulan Maret 2020, banyak sekolah menyelenggarakan proses pembelajaran secara daring. Kegiatan ini membuat guru harus menyesuaikan diri dengan situasi yang tidak pernah terjadi ini. Kurikum bagi mahasiswa calon guru tidak pernah dirancang dengan kompetensi untuk pembelajaran daring. Pembelajaran daring menggunakan banyak media pembelajaran berbentuk video yang dibagikan langsung kepada siswa berbentuk file atau diupload ke youtube. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kompetensi calon guru matematika dengan tingkat keberhasilan mereka dalam menyelenggarakan pembelajaran daring. Hasil analisa data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara kompetensi calon guru matematika dengan tingkat keberhasilan mereka dalam menyelenggarakan pembelajaran daring dengan taraf siginfikansi 5%. Tetapi jika plot data variabel bebas dan variabel terikat dicermati maka hubungan ini hanya dipengaruhi oleh beberapa mahasiswa saja. Artinya jika mahasiswa tersebut dikeluarkan dari data maka kesimpulan akan berkata sebaliknya. Sehingga penelitian lanjutan perlu diketahui untk mengetahui kejadian yang lebih cermat.Kata Kunci: kurikulum, video, kompetensi, guru, daring

Darba teorētiskajā daļā aplūkota atmiņas jēdziena definīcijas problēma, tās īpatnības un klasifikācijas principi. Tāpat aplūkots tēla izveides princips memuāros tekstos, un dots A. Efronas memuāra teksta vispārīgs raksturojums. Praktiskā daļā noteikti un analizēti autores izveidotie laikabiedru tēli un to izveides īpatnības. Pētījumā izmantoti teksti, kas ir iekļauti izdevuma “Dzīves vēsture, dvēseles vēsture” trešajā sējumā. Bakalaura darbs ir adresēts studentiem-filologiem, kuri nodarbojas ar līdzīgu tēmu vai problēmu, kā arī tiem, kuri interesējas par memuāru žanru, Ariadnas Efronas dzīvi un daiļradi.The bachelor paper is devoted to the research of the memoirs of Ariadna Efron, whose works has not been studied enough until recently. The theoretical chapter considers the problem of defining the notion of memoirs, their peculiarities and principles of classification. Moreover, the principle of construction of an image in the memoir texts has been examined. In addition, the general characteristics of the memoir works by A. Efron have been offered. The images, recreated by the author, are revealed and analyzed in the practical chapter. Furthermore, the peculiarities of formation of these images are disclosed. The material for this research consists of the memoir texts, which are included into the third volume of the edition “The Life Story, the Soul Story”. The bachelor paper is addressed to the philology students who are working with the similar theme or problem, and to all those who are interested in the genre of memoirs, and Ariadna Efron’s life and works
