PERANCANGAN ALAT BANTU INTERAKTIF PENUNJANG AKTIVITAS PENDAMPING INSAN PASCA STROKE
Seseorang yang telah mengalami serangan stroke, atau yang biasa disebut InsanPasca Stroke (IPS), umumnya akan memiliki kelainan neurologis sepertiberkurangnya kemampuan motorik anggota tubuh dan otot, kognitif, visual dankoordinasi secara signifikan. Hal ini menyebabkan munculnya ketergantungan insanpasca stroke terhadap orang lain dalam menjalankan aktivitas kehidupannya sehariharinyaakibat berkurangnya atau hilangnya kemandirian dan mobilitas insan pascastroke tersebut. Ketergantungan insan pasca stroke tersebut dapat menyebabkanperubahan yang signifikan dalam hidup keluarga dan pendamping yang merawatnya.Posisi penelitian ini adalah sebagai suatu upaya merancang alat bantu yang interaktifuntuk membantu para pendamping insan pasca stroke beradaptasi dalam aktivitasperawatan harian yang harus dilakukan.Melalui wawancara, survei dan design workshop dengan sejumlah pendamping insanpasca stroke, diharapkan dapat diperoleh identifikasi kebutuhan, konsep desain danprototipe akan suatu alat bantu interaktif penunjang aktivitas pendamping insanpasca stroke yang terevaluasi.

Biuer... Chicago! Un argumento surrealista para el McCormick Tribune Campus Center
Resumen
Se tiende a considerar el McCormick Tribune Campus Center bajo una filiación pop. Sin descartar la evidencia del influjo de Robet Venturi, el artículo argumenta la raigambre surrealista, velada por su colorista y desenfadada retórica. Esta hipótesis no sería incoherente con el aprecio de Rem Koolhaas por las técnicas surrealistas (patentes en Delirious New York) y la apreciación de rasgos surrealistas en su obra temprana por parte de terceros. Se analizan, sobre aspectos concretos del edificio terminado y sobre documentos de desarrollo del proyecto, mecanismos destinados a producir efectos similares a los que los surrealistas perseguían con sus prácticas: la intensificación de la realidad más allá de la pura racionalidad. También sería coherente con el aliento de crítica epistémica que recibe el proyecto de las bases del concurso que le dio lugar, y que motivó la respuesta de Koolhaas mediante el binomio que forman el edificio y su panfleto coetáneo, Junkspace.
Abstract
Under its casual and colorful appearance, the McCormick Tribune Campus Center built in 2003 at the Chicago IIT campus by Rem Koolhaas constitutes a perplexing -hard to grasp conceptually- architectural piece. The commission origin was an international competition whose bases demanded a building “equal in stature to Mies van der Rohe’s S. R. Crown Hall” that “will express the architecture of our time”. According to Koolhaas, the building, in which he subverts all kind of disciplinary categories that shape Mies’s work, is a built response to the condition of our time described in Junkspace, a text written in parallel to its construction proccess. The article argues that a surreal halo shines under its pop aesthetic. Being its significance reinforced by Koolhaas’ clear appreciation of the findings of the Surrealists -among whom, especially, Dalí’s paranoid-critical method-, it may constitute a clue of deeper arguments that, steeping the strategy and methodology of the project, contribute to articulate the construct with which its author gives response to the competition intellectual demands
ROMANCE DAS ORIGENS, ORIGENS DO ROMANCE, DE MARTHE ROBERT - RESENHA CRÍTICA
This review aims at sketching the theoretical and methodological proposals of the French theoretician Marthe Robert presented in Origins of the novel – published in 1972 but translated to Portuguese, in Brazil, in 2007. In spite of being published more than 40 years ago, the discussion proposed by Robet is still current and the obstacles faced by critical and literary theory at the time have remained and even deepened. According to her, these fields of knowledge have failed in proposing consistent theoretic and methodological basis for the study of novel. Her proposal not only validates the psychoanalytical approach of literature but even inverts it, pointing out the literary making as the aesthetization of the family romance, a primitive narrative which plays the role of a psychic organizing process. This knowledge enables us to overcome the impasses created by what she calls an external history of novel, as made by literary theory, and pass to an internal history, focused on the desire that founds the genre. This debate is developed in the first section of the book, entitled O gênero indefinido. In the other two sections, O outro lado and Fatias da Vida the author puts at practice her theoretical proposal in approaching the novel.Esta resenha aborda o livro da teórica francesa Marthe Robert – Romance das origens, origens do romance – originalmente publicado em 1972, mas somente traduzido em 2007. Neste, Robert trata de questões ainda em debate, como, por exemplo, a demarcação do gênero, e a, de certo modo, ineficácia da crítica e da teoria literária em estabelecer bases teórico-metodológicas abrangentes no estudo deste gênero, que, segundo ela, já nasce arrivista. Sua proposta metodológica não somente procura validar a abordagem psicanalítica da literatura, mas mesmo inverter essa relação ao apontar o fazer literário como uma estetização do romance familiar dos neuróticos, narrativa primitiva e infantil que exerce a função de processo organizador de nossa psique. Essa base, segundo Robert, permite-nos sair dos impasses criados por uma história externa do romance, como a praticada até então, e passar a uma história interna, focando no desejo mesmo que o funda. Essa discussão toma a primeira parte do livro, O gênero indefinido, o qual se subdivide em outras duas seções, O outro lado e Fatias da Vida, na qual a autora põe em prática sua proposta teórica de abordagem do romance
