Get PDFNel corso delle ricognizioni per la redazione della tesi di laurea sono stati individuati alcuni elementi scultorei in arenaria, inizialmente confrontabili con le cd. “pietrefitte” analizzate da S. Casartelli Novelli nel 1989. Si presenta uno dei suddetti manufatti, attualmente murato nella recinzione esterna di una abitazione privata di Gesico, comune situato nella zona denominata Trexenta, inprovincia di Cagliari. Il reperto, un monolite in pietra locale, è decorato su una delle due facce a vista con un grande fiore a triplacorolla, al di sotto del quale si trova un’ iscrizione con caratteri maiuscoli in lingua latina. L’analisi stilistico-formale ha permesso di ipo-tizzare per il manufatto la funzione di elemento architettonico, presumibilmente di un edificio di culto. Per quanto riguarda l’iscrizio-ne, su base paleografica si propone una datazione intorno al XIII secolo, analogamente a quanto ipotizzato per l’apparato decorativo.During the researches to complete the graduation thesis, some sculptural sandstone elements have been found. At thebeginning, they have been compared to the “pietrefitte”, some sculptured studied in 1989 by S. Casartelli Novelli. One of them isactually walled in a private house of Gesico, a little village in the provinces of Cagliari. This monolith is decorated with a big triplecorolla rosette, below whom there is a capitol letters inscription in Latin. The researches about shapes and style permitted to make thehypothesis that the stone-carving was a pillar, maybe included in a religious building. The role of siblings on infant language exposure in daylong audio recordings
No full textThis study investigates how family characteristics contribute to language produced in homes. Specifically exploring the effects of older siblings on the amounts and types of child- directed and overheard speech that infants hear. To address this, this study analyzed 76 daylong audio home recordings from 26 American families with infants between the ages of 6-12 months. To annotate the recordings, each audio was randomly sampled for a total of 2 hours that was comprised of 30 second intervals. Each interval was coded for all spoken utterances for all speakers and to whom the speech was addressed to. Findings revealed that infants with older siblings had about half as much speech directed to them as did infants without older siblings. This effect was entirely driven by contexts in which the older sibling was physically present; no differences in amounts of directed speech when older siblings were not present were observed. However, when combining all child-directed input (to either the infant or the siblings) there were no differences between families with and without siblings. Further, the nature of overheard speech changed when a sibling was present, not simply because the sibling added another speaker to the environment, but because other speakers’ distribution of speech differed when the sibling was physically present during daily activities. Get PDFEsta tesis está desarrollada bajo la línea de investigación: Ingeniería de software de la escuela profesional de Ingeniería de Sistemas de la Universidad católica los Ángeles de Chimbote, tuvo como objetivo general: Realizar la propuesta de Implementación de un sistema web de ventas en el restaurant Maily – Piura, el alcance de esta investigación se benefició la área de ventas del restaurant Maily con el propósito de obtener un mejor control de las ventas, favoreciendo directamente a los trabajadores de las diferentes áreas y a sus clientes, la problemática actual es que no cuenta con un sistema que le ayude a sus procesos de las ventas, registrándose manualmente, la metodología fue de nivel cuantitativo de tipo descriptiva de diseño no experimental y de corte trasversal, la técnica fue la encuesta y el instrumento fue el cuestionario, para obtener los siguientes resultados, en la dimensión 01: Nivel de satisfacción acerca del sistema actual, se observó que el 80.00% de los trabajadores encuestados indicaron que NO están satisfechos con el sistema actual, y en la dimensión 02: Nivel de conocimiento de las TIC, el 70.00% de los trabajadores encuestados indicaron que NO tienen conocimiento de las TIC. Se concluye que existe un alto nivel de necesidad para ejecutar la propuesta de Implementación de un sistema web de ventas en el restaurant Maily – Piura; 2022, para el control de datos e información, y dar soluciones a los procesos que se realizan de forma manual brindando un servicio de calidad al client
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

de 20 clientes, para la recolección de datos se utilizó el instrumento del cuestionario
mediante la técnica de la encuesta, cuyos resultados se mostraron para la dimensión
01: Nivel de Análisis del proceso actual, se observa que 70.00% de los encuestados
indicaron que, NO están satisfechos con los procesos actuales, en la dimensión 02:
Nivel de la Propuesta de mejora, se observa el 85.00% de los encuestados indicaron
que, SI están interesados en la propuesta mejora, con respecto a la dimensión 3: Nivel
de conocimiento con respecto al manejo de las TIC, el 65.00% de los encuestados
manifestaron que, NO conocen el manejo de las TIC. Estos resultados se concluye que
es beneficioso la utilización de una aplicación móvil para gestionar el registro de
reservaciones en el restaurante “maily” – Piura, 2020, que optimizará los procesos
resultando que mejoró significativamente la atención al cliente
Perceived risk as a mediator between the behavioural factors and reinvestment intention among millennial retail investors / Maily Patrick
Get PDFThe millennial cohort is the largest in Malaysia, and this cohort has started to enter the workplace, replacing the baby boomers generation. They are the next generation who will be thinking about where to invest their hard-earned salary. Realising this phenomenon, the Securities Commission has begun to focus on this market segment to encourage millennials‘ direct involvement to invest in stock since 2016. However, the financial market‘s uncertainty and instability due to economic conditions have psychologically and emotionally influenced retail investors, including millennials. Due to millennials‘ unique demographics and characteristics, factors that will entice them to reinvest in the stock market will also be different. Therefore, this research examines the behavioural factors affecting Malaysian millennial retail investors‘ intention to reinvest in the stock market. This study also examines if the perceived risk on stocks could mediate the relationship between the behavioural factors and intention to reinvest in the Malaysian stock market. The social learning theory and the behavioural finance theory; heuristic theory, herding theory, and prospect theory had integrated with an attempt to predict the reinvestment intention of millennial retail investors in the Malaysian stock market. Therefore, the behavioural factors are cognitive, self-efficacy, herding effect and market factors. A primary data collection method via a survey was developed to answer the research questions established. The unit analysis is individual, and there were 258 questionnaires valid for analysis. The structural equation modelling had pursued and variance-based technique exercised; thus, the analysis employed partial least square structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM). The main findings revealed that socio-economic factors (herding effect and market) significantly influenced the millennial retail investors‘ reinvestment intention on the Malaysian stock market. Unfortunately, personal factors (cognitive and self-efficacy) do not significantly influence millennial retail investors‘ reinvestment intention on stocks. The key findings highlight that the perceived risk partially mediate the relationship between the herding effect and reinvestment intention in the Malaysian stock market among millennial retail investors. The arguments have linked to the risk attitudes of retail investors, particularly the risk-averse and risk-seekers attitudes and regret aversion. Therefore, the findings indicate that the data support the prospect theory and herding theory. Indeed, the findings contribute to the body of knowledge and managerial aspects, particularly to the authorities, financial institutions, publicly listed companies, professional financial advisors, remisiers, dealers, and retail investors
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
