    ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan menghafal Al-Qur'an Dengan Penguasaan Mufrodat Bahasa Arab di Pondok Pesantren Al-Ikhlas Bahrul ‘Ulum Tambakberas Jombang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis Regresi Linier Sederhana dan uji hipotesa menggunakan uji F dan kemudian di beri kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : hasil uji F yaitu f hitung 50,363 > f tabel = 2.06 dan tingkat signifikansi 0,00 lebih kecil dari taraf  ketidak percayaan 5% (0,00 > 0,05). Keputusan menyatakan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Maka, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penguaruh kemampuan menghafal Al-Qur’an (X) terhadap penguasaan mufrodat (Y) santri Pondok Pesantren Al-Ikhlas Bahrul ‘Ulum Tambakberas Jombang. Yaitu, sebesar 65.3% dan termasuk pada tingkat pengaruh koefisien korelasi “kuat”. Kata Kunci: Menghafal Al-Qur’an, Penguasaan Mufroda   ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the influence of the ability to memorize the Qur'an with the mastery of Arabic Mufrodat at the Al-Ikhlas Bahrul 'Ulum Tambakberas Jombang Islamic Boarding School. This research is a correlation research using a quantitative approach. Data collection was done by observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis used is Simple Linear Regression analysis and hypothesis test using F test and then given conclusions. The results showed that: the F test result is f count 50.363 > f table = 2.06 and the significance level of 0.00 is smaller than the level of distrust of 5% (0.00 > 0.05). The decision states Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Maka, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penguaruh kemampuan menghafal Al-Qur’an (X) terhadap penguasaan mufrodat (Y) santri Pondok Pesantren Al-Ikhlas Bahrul ‘Ulum Tambakberas Jombang.     ABSTRAK Di dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, ilmu Ashwat memegang peranan penting. Karena ilmu Ashwat merupakan unsur pokok pada setiap bahasa. Jika, ilmu Ashwat tidak dipahami dengan baik, maka keterampilan keterampilan berbahasa Arab, tidak akan bisa dikuasai secara sempurna. Seringkali akan ditemukan ketidakpahaman dalam proses berbahasa. Sehingga proses komunikasi juga akan terhambat. Dengan adanya metode pembelajaran dapat mempermudah dan mempercepat proses belajar menuju pemahaman. Pembelajaran ilmu ashwat terpraktekkan di Pondok Pesantren Bumi Damai Al-Muhibbin Tambakberas Jombang melalui program antara lain ialah program diniyah dan program yanbu’a, adapun peneliti lebih merucut pada program yanbu’a dikarenakan program tersebut lebih konprehensif dalam mempraktekkan pembelajaran ilmu ashwat. Peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Data Primernya yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara di lembaga Pondok Pesantren Bumi Damai Al-Muhibbin Tambakberas Jombang. Dan data sekunder dari penelitian ini adalah melalui buku buku yang berkaitan dengan metode yanbu’a dan pembelajaran ilmu ashwat. Penelitian ini menghasilkan: 1 dari 5 siswa mampu melafalkan dengan baik huruf-huruf hijaiyyah dari metode yanbu’a sebanyak tiga kali diperaktekkan secara bersama, terprakteknya pembelajaran ilmu ashwat melalui program metode yanbu’a di pondok pesantren bumi damai al-muhibbin tambakberas jombang, dan terciptanya kualitas terhadap aspek-aspek pembelajaran bahasa arab secara mendasar dan konprehensif. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Penerapan Metode Yanbu’a Mampu Meningkatkan Pembelajaran Ilmu Ashwat Bahasa Arab Pondok Pesantren Bumi Damai Al-Muhibbin. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran, Ilmu Ashwat, Metode Yanbua   ABSTRACT In the study of the Arabic language, the science of phonetics (Ilmu Ashwat) plays an important role, as it is a fundamental element in every language. If phonetics is not well understood, mastery of Arabic language skills cannot be fully achieved. Misunderstandings often arise in the process of using the language, which in turn hinders communication. The presence of effective teaching methods can simplify and accelerate the learning process toward better understanding. The teaching of phonetics is practiced at the Bumi Damai Al-Muhibbin Islamic Boarding School in Tambakberas Jombang through programs such as the Diniyah program and the Yanbu’a program. The researcher focuses more on the Yanbu’a program because it is more comprehensive in applying phonetic learning. The researcher conducted field research using a descriptive qualitative method. Primary data was obtained through observation, documentation, and interviews at the Bumi Damai Al-Muhibbin Islamic Boarding School, while secondary data came from books related to the Yanbu’a method and phonetic learning. This research concluded that 1 out of 5 students could correctly pronounce the Hijaiyyah letters after practicing the Yanbu’a method three times together. The phonetic learning process was effectively implemented through the Yanbu’a method at the Bumi Damai Al-Muhibbin Islamic Boarding School in Tambakberas Jombang, resulting in improved quality in the fundamental and comprehensive aspects of Arabic language learning. It can be concluded that the application of the Yanbu’a method can enhance the teaching of Arabic phonetics at the Bumi Damai Al-Muhibbin Islamic Boarding School.     ABSTRAK Dalam lembaga pendidikan, terdapat diferensiasi antara Kepemimpinan formal dan non formal, akademis dan non akademis, kepemimpinan umum dan pesantren.  Namun ditemukan lembaga yang mengkolaborasikan dua hal tersebut, yakni Madrasah yang dipimpin oleh soosk kyai. Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kepemimpinan kyai sebagai kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan kualitas guru di MA Fattah Hasyim Tambakberas Jombang. Jenis penelitian ini yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Adapun teknik dalam pengumpulan data yang dipakai ialah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, verivikasi data. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan di MA Fattah Hasyim menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kyai menampakkan cara memimpin dengan : kharismatik, menggerakkan, mempengaruhui, dan mengarahkan, dan untuk kepala madrasah menjalankan tugasnya dengan menjadi : pendidik, supervisor, inovator, manajer, dan administrator. Dari sistem kepemimpinan tersebut mampu meningkatkan kualitas guru yang memiliki skil yang berbeda-beda, dengan melihat hasilnya melalui peserta didik ketika para guru melakukan kegiatan belajar mengajar. Kata kunci : Kepemimpinan kyai, kepala madrasah, kualitas guru.   ABSTRACT In educational institutions, there is a differentiation between formal and non-formal, academic and non-academic leadership, general leadership and Islamic boarding schools.  However, an institution was found that collaborated on these two things, namely a Madrasah led by Soosk Kyai. The purpose of this writing is to find out how the leadership of kyai as madrasa heads improves the quality of teachers at MA Fattah Hasyim Tambakberas Jombang. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, data verification. The results of research conducted at MA Fattah Hasyim show that kyai leadership shows how to lead by: charismatic, mobilizing, influencing, and directing, and for madrasa heads to carry out their duties by being: educators, supervisors, innovators, managers, and administrators. This leadership system is able to improve the quality of teachers who have different skills, by seeing the results through students when teachers carry out teaching and learning activities.     Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods

    We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
