    Perilaku Dan Perancangan Kolom Pracetak Rumah Sederhana Cepat Bangun Tahan Gempa Dengan Sistem Rangka Terbuka

    Pracetak jika ditinjau dari segi pelaksanaan konstruksi, lebih efektif dan efisien dari beton konvensional. Rumah pracetak yang diteliti terdiri dari Rumah Tidak Bertingkat (RTB) luas 36 m2 dan Rumah Bertingkat {RBT) luas 66m2, sistem rangka berdinding pengisi dan sistem rangka terbuka yang dianalisis team. Disini penelitian difokuskan pada perilaku dan perancangan kolom bangunan sistem rangka terbuka Sebelum menetapkan dimensi dan tulangan yang digunakan, analisis dimulai dengan dimensi yang lebih kecil dengan coba-coba, karena kolom harus didisain dengan Strong Column Weak Beam, jadi disain kolom berhubungan dengan disain balok serta dipengaruhi oleh hubungan balok kolom. sehingga ditentukan penulangan longitudinal yang optimum untuk RTB WG 6 dan 4, dimensi 150 x 150 mm tulangan longitudinal4-Dl6, RBT WG 6 dan 4 dimensi kolom 250 x 250 mm2 , tulangan longitudinal 8-D16. Hasil Xtract untuk daktilitas kolom menunjukan elemen kolom dengan jarak tulang sengkang 90 mm diameter 8 mm yang optimum dengan nilai kurvatur lebih dari 16. Dari analisis Xtract RTB nilai J!q, = 16,36, RBT nilai JJ.q, = 19,36. Performance disain struktur dari analisis pushover SAP 2000 menunjukan perilaku struktur tahan gempa berbasis kinerja, terjadi pelehan balok terlebih dahulu. Daktilitas perpindahan struktur juga mampu lebih dari 5,3 yaitu RTB = 8, RBT = 11,33. Analisis Lusas 13.5 menunjukan kolom sangat kuat menerima beban dari kombinasi beban mati, beban hidup dan beban gempa. Supaya pelaksanaan struktur cepat, sambungan dirancang dengan menggunakan dry joint. Didisain dengan beban dari kapasitas kolom dianalisis dengan Lusas 13.5 dan Xtraxt. Dirancang empat sambungan kolom dengan kolom atau pondasi yaitu : sambungan kolom pendek baja, sambungan pelat dasar mengunakan baut, sambungan pelat dasar menggunakan las dan sambungan mekanis menggunakan FD Grip, dari keempat sistem sambungan yang ada dipilih FD Grip karena harga termurah, ringan dan cepat pelaksanaannya ====================================================================================================================================== Precast when viewed from the construction implementation perspective, is more effective and efficient than conventional concrete. The structural design performance of the SAP 2000 pushover analysis shows the behavior of earthquake-resistant structures based on performance, beam yielding occurs first. The displacement ductility of the structure is also capable of more than 5.3, namely RTB = 8, RBT = 11.33. The Lusas 13.5 analysis shows that the column is very strong in receiving loads from a combination of dead loads, live loads and earthquake loads.     Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    Various size of Concrete cylinder come across often in any project site and the most simple and common method in obtaining the tensile strength of concrete is Splitting test. This study is to find out the influence of concrete cylinder size and loading type on behavior of splitting tensile strength of normal weight concrete. In this study height-diameter ratio h/d, Wide of load spreader t - radii of concrete cylinder r ratio (t/r) and diameter of the concrete cylinder as well are considered as variables. The current study was experimentally focused on behavior of Splitting Tensile strength of normal concrete. Specimens were concrete cylinder having compression strength f’c=25MPa and mix proportion was constant, namely 1:2:3 of cement-sand-crushed stone by volume with a constant water-cement ratio of 0.45. Cylinder depth to diameter ratios of the specimens was varied between 1 and 3. Data collected indicate that the wider the load spreader the higher the splitting tensile strength of the concrete. This is presumably due to changes in the load pattern from line-loads to evenly distributed-loads, and this phenomenon needs to be explored further. The load applied on the concrete specimens with wide spreader have a likelihood to be distributed one. Splitting tensile strength rises nonlinearly as the t-r ratio increase. The smaller the diameter of the specimens, the higher the splitting tensile strength gainedUkuran silinder yang bervariasi masih sering ditemui dilokasi proyek dan jenis beban yang digunakan saat pengujian Kuat tarik belah di laboratorium dapat berupa beban garis atau beban terbagi rata. Pada penelitian ini variabel yang ditinjau adalah rasio h/d dan rasio t/r serta diameter dari silinder. Semua spesimen yang digunakan berupa silinder, dan campuran beton ditetapkan 1Pc:2Ps:3Kr berdasarkan perbandingan volume dengan faktor air semen yang konstan 0,5. Rasio tinggi silinder terhadap diameter silinder bervariasi dari 1-3. Berdasarkan analisa data mengindikasikan bahwa semakin lebar bidang kontak beban terhadap silinder maka semakin tinggi kuat tarik belah beton yag diperoleh. Beban yang dikerjakan dengan bidang kontak yang lebih lebar cendung berperilaku seperti beban terbagi rata. Kuat tarik belah meningkat dengan meningkatnya rasio t/r, disamping itu semakin kecil diameter silinder maka kuta tarik belah semakin tinggi

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods

    We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
