No full textFiglio adottato e genitori adottivi vivono in uno spazio mentale e relazionale dove la doppia connessione del figlio (Brodzinsky, 1992) - con l’ambiente di arrivo e la famiglia adottiva da un lato, la famiglia e l’ambiente di origine dall’altro- riveste una posizione centrale, anche se diversi da bambino a bambino e da famiglia a famiglia saranno le modalità e i tempi di tale riconoscimento.
I genitori sono chiamati a rinnovare nel tempo la loro capacità di relazione, che richiede di mantenere l’immagine del figlio “di fronte”, cioè attribuendogli lo stesso valore e dignità che si riserva a se stessi, in quel movimento di danza relazionale, che regola, secondo la suggestiva metafora di Grotevant (Grotevant e al. 2009; 2011), vicinanza e distanza, nelle diverse fasi della vita familiare. Tale paradigma non nega le inevitabili difficoltà e incomprensioni, oggi poco tollerabili, per il mito contemporaneo delle relazioni familiari come luogo di incontrovertibile vicinanza e immediata reciproca comprensione.
Compito centrale per i genitori è quello di conversare con il figlio della sua origine adottiva, permettendogli nel tempo di compiere il percorso, più o meno tortuoso, che lo porterà a trovare un punto di equilibrio, prezioso anche se non definitivo, nello scenario meta familiare che l’adozione disegna per tutti i suoi protagonisti
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
