Madihah Janjua discusses her experiences growing up in Pakistan and the United Kingdom before moving to Oklahoma City for her degree in visual arts. Janjua discusses her relationship with art throughout her life in a primarily academic household, and eventually going out on her own to fashion school in Pakistan before moving to the United Kingdom at only eighteen years old. She describes moving to Oklahoma for her degree to become a professional artist and her focus on women's roles in the world and expressing her views on feminist issues through her work. The purpose of the Immigrant Women Artists Oral History Project is to examine the occupational folklife of first-generation immigrant women artists living in Oklahoma and the networks of support that allow them to pursue their vocations in a new environment. This series of interviews examines not only the cultural and occupational traditions that these artists nurture in straddling multiple cultural identities, but also the translation of an artist's occupational life between multiple cultural and physical spaces. This project is supported by the Archie Green Fellowship of the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress

Incorporating mathematical thinking in addition and subtraction of fraction: real issues and challenges
Since the introduction of the new primary mathematics curriculum in Brunei starting January 2006, more teachers of elementary schools are seeking a suitable way of incorporating mathematical thinking in each mathematics lesson that they teach. For this particular purpose, teachers were introduced to lesson study and it is hoped that with the guidance and support given by the team involved, teachers would build their confidence and make mathematical thinking a regular feature of their lessons. There are still many problems that the teachers face such as students not used to explaining their thoughts in class and some insisting on using certain procedures that they had
learned before, without being able to explain how and why the procedure works. This paper will relate a classroom case and look at the real issues and challenges that
Bruneian teachers faced in incorporating mathematical thinking when teaching of the topic on addition and subtraction of fractions

Improvement of teaching from improvement of assessment test: challenges
The impact of assessment on the teaching and learning of mathematics has been much debated and discussed. This paper will in a small part, attempt to contribute to the discussion by particularly looking at Brunei perspective. The implementation of the new education system (The National Education System for the 21st Century – SPN 21) from early 2008 has made teachers struggling with the changes to be made in the classrooms. The paper will share with participants the nature of assessment before the introduction and the desired modes of assessment proposed by both the new SPN syllabus and the primary school mathematics syllabus implemented earlier in 2006. The focus will be on the challenges faced by school teachers in implementing the desired changes especially from the point of teaching and learning. This paper will include some findings from a survey of teachers’ belief regarding assessment
Healthcare data integrity using hash function / Wan Madihah Wan Harrum
Healthcare fields are currently evolving around the digital world, and it is a must for security analyst to ensure it is safe and secure to store data in digital form or even to be uploading into clouds. Digital world today offer ways to ensure data security and integrity called encryption. Encryption converts data into forms that cannot be read by normal people. In order to preserve data security, there is a type of encryption form being introduced, Hash function. Hash function however, has an open flaw for data integrity. This research aim to analyse real health data integrity using new version of hash function and its performance against collision resistance. This will benefit others by listing the pros and cons of applying hash function in medical field. Real healthcare data are being hash with three different version of hash function, MD5, SHA-1, SHA-2. Message digest outputs are tested for collision resistance to ensure data integrity. The result from this findings will leads to better solution and allow better enhancement for hash function problem
