ACCOUNTANCY POLICIES AND TREATMENTS FOR ASSESSING STOCKS
Assessing the stocks is an important activity given its economic and financial implications on effectively managing the economic units’ patrimony. Organizing and managing the stocks accountancy relies more and more on effectively knowing the means and the resources, on operatively following the values movement, on carefully researching the structure and dynamics elements, but especially on decoding the future evolution tendencies of the phenomena that occur within the company and in its external environment. Through the matter approached, the author of the paper has in view to present the manners assessing stocks with the help of means specific to the financial accountancy and management accountancy. The theoretical aspects of the paper are combined with practical circumstances specific to entities in the timber processing industry.stocks, assessment, cost
A Unified Thermal-Reactive Compositional Simulation Framework for Modeling CO2 Sequestration at Various Scales
In this work, we present a unified framework for the simulation of CO2 sequestration problems at various time and space scales. The parametrization technique utilizes thermodynamic state-dependent operators expressing the governing equations for the thermal-compositional-reactive system to solve the nonlinear problem. This approach provides flexibility in the assembly of the Jacobian, which allows straightforward implementation of advanced thermodynamics. We validate our simulation framework through several simulation studies including complex physical phenomena relevant to CCUS. The proposed simulation framework is validated against a set of numerical and experimental benchmark tests, demonstrating the efficiency and accuracy of the modeling framework for CCUS-related subsurface applications. Important physical phenomena resulting from the complex thermodynamic interactions of CO2 and impurities with reservoir fluids can be accurately captured now in detailed dynamic simulation. The investigated simulation scenarios include a reproduction of lab experiments at the core scale, investigation of macro-scale analog model and simulation of large-scale industrial application. The simulation time can also span from hours to years among various applications. Complex thermal-compositional-reactive phenomena can be addressed at each of these space and time scales. The unified thermodynamic description allows us to perform all these simulations for a reasonable CPU time due to advanced parametrization techniques and efficient GPU capabilities in our in-house reservoir simulator DARTS.Green Open Access added to TU Delft Institutional Repository ‘You share, we take care!’ – Taverne project https://www.openaccess.nl/en/you-share-we-take-care Otherwise as indicated in the copyright section: the publisher is the copyright holder of this work and the author uses the Dutch legislation to make this work public.Reservoir Engineerin
EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCHE REGARDING BY USING RAPID TOOLING TECHNOLOGIES IN MANUFACTURING COMPLEX PARTS
This paper has described an indirect method of rapid tooling technique, using for made the mould to manufacturing a representative part with complex geometry shape, by injection. The different changes in the market requirements entail the necessity of a flexible and efficient manufacturing process. The flexible moulds are made of low - hardness materials, such as silicone rubber, epoxy resin, low - melting point alloys etc., using new techniques like Vacuum casting and metal spraying. The metal spraying techniques is one of the most common procedures used in flexible tools manufacturing. The mould manufacturing by metal spraying was made in the laboratory of Innovative Technologies, at Technical University of Cluj-napoca, as result of the theoretical and experimental research work of the author, in the framework of doctoral studies in the field of industrial engineering
Als Übersetzer zugange in den literarischen Beständen Rumäniens
The author, attracted to the Romanian poetry written during the inter-war period, tried to translate into German some of the poems wirtten by Ion Pillat and Ion Barbu. From this pursuit he could learn a lot, not only thanks to his inclination towards the original text, by interpreting it from a semantic point of view, but also by searching the lexical equivalents established in the target-language. In the magazine, there are introduced poets that belong to the younger generation and so, he managed to approach their licirical creations more as a translator, especially those written by Nichita Stănescu and Ioan Alexandru. At the same time, the author narrates some of his experiences regarding the folklore poetry, his steps concerning the translation of the ballads written originally by Transylvanian Saxons in the literary German. Moreover, he does not fail to outline the realization of a short edition from the piece of work, created in Latin by the Transylvanian humanist Christian Schesäus, the poem Istoria Anei Kendi, translated with the help of a few contributors in Romanian, Hungarian and German
Full-EoS based thermal multiphase compositional simulation of CO2 and steam injection processes
Several compositional reservoir simulators based on equations of state (EoS) have been designed. Yet, few of them can deal with thermal processes such as steam injection and no fully compositional thermal simulation of the steam injection process has been proposed with extra-heavy oils yet. Those simulations appear essential and will offer better tools to decide whether to carry out the exploitation of a heavy oil field or not. In those processes, the accurate modelling of the water/steam phase plays an important role and accurate multiphase equilibrium calculations are necessary. Thermodynamics generate highly nonlinear problems. Besides, in reservoir simulation a huge amount of phase equilibrium calculations is required, and a single failure may cause significant error propagations leading to false solutions. This study presents several improvements leading to a more robust and efficient phase equilibrium calculation (stability and flash) program. A general multiphase flash implementing all the developed algorithms is presented and tested against experimental and literature data. It can handle any number of phases; a numerical example consists in a four-phase simulation of CO2 injection. Simulations of steam flooding are performed with highly heterogeneous reservoirs. Besides, a fully compositional simulation of the SAGD process for an extra heavy bitumen is performed, which appears to be the one of the first simulation of the kind in the literature.Reservoir Engineerin
Problema protocronismului. Precizări
We are dealing with the ultimate variant of the Romanian Protochronism theory, conceived by the scholar Edgar Papu (1908-1993), reproduced serially in the newspaper “Românul” between March and July 1991. His idea about the Romanian aesthetic forms anticipating or preparing currents, motives or procedures that were later to be experienced and dealt with by the Western culture was published twice before (1977 and 1989), but this one is the first uncensored text diffused after the fall of the communist regime in Romania. Running chronologically, the paper starts with a 16th c. work – contemporary to Machiavelli’s The Prince (1513) – due to the Lord of Walachia, Néagoé Bassarab, entitled The Lectures meant for his son Theodosius (1519-1521), which establishes a canon of reigning principles and skills at hand to his heir to the throne, considered by the author Edgar Papu to anticipate the appearance of the Baroque type of “hombre secreto” described in the treaties of the Jesuit monk Baltasar Gracián, called El Discreto (1646) and Oráculo manual y arte de prudencia (1647). At the beginning of the 18th c., he discovers that the writings of the noble scholar Demeter Cantemïr (prince of Moldavia), entitled Hieroglyphic History (1705, published in 1883), foreshadows the Byronian type of Romanticism (illustrated by many masterpieces as Alfred de Vigny’s Moses, Mihaïl Lermontov’s The Demon, Eugene Onegin by Aleksandr Pushkin, Mihaï Eminescu’s poem The Morning Star or Thus Spoke Zarathustra by Friedrich Nietzsche). The History of the Ottoman Empire (1714-1716) by the same Demeter Cantemïr influenced Montesquieu’s historiographical method in conceiving his book, called Considerations on the Causes of the Greatness of the Romans and their Decline (1734). As we near to the present day, the author Edgar Papu highlights more than 50 autochthonous works that possess different anticipating virtues, finding an increased frequency of Romanian writers capable of protruding their own principles and aesthetic solutions in other literary fields (Ion Heliade[1]Rădulescu, Mihai Eminescu, Ion Creangă, Al. Macedonski, George Bacovia, Mateiu Caragiale, Liviu Rebreanu, Marin Sorescu, Nichita Stănescu). This theory scored a new axiological attitude towards the Romanian literature, remaining a possible guide-line in re-assessing the history of ideas
