Development of a New Robotic Platform for Microsurgery
While robotics has primarily penetrated laparoscopic surgery with the product offering of Intuitive Surgical and to a lesser extent orthopedic, spinal, and brain surgery, plastic surgery has remained largely untouched by robotics to date, partially due to the absence of a dedicated robotic technology. In this chapter, we examine the technology gaps that have contributed to this scenario and describe how the resulting criteria for a robotic platform for reconstructive microsurgery have propelled an end-user-driven development of a robotic platform with wristed robotic microinstruments for open surgery
Pemeriksaan Bercak Darah Pada Kain Katun Dan Kain Polyester Menggunakan Tes Teichmann
Replication Data for: Learning from Mixing Power Curves: An AI-based Approach for Online Assessment of Fresh Concrete Consistency
Overview
This dataset contains a synthetic benchmark for studying data-driven assessment of fresh concrete consistency from mixer power consumption time series ("mixing curves"). It was created in the context of the manuscript Learning from Mixing Power Curves: An AI-based Approach for Online Assessment of Fresh Concrete Consistency (submitted to the Journal of Building Engineering).
The data links randomized concrete mix designs, simulated mixing power curves, and simulated slump flow values as a consistency measure. It is intended for developing, pretraining, and evaluating machine learning models that use process data from concrete mixing plants, with a focus on long short-term memory (LSTM) networks and other sequence models.
Data contents
All tabular data are provided in machine-readable formats (e.g. CSV) with one row per mix and clearly named columns. The dataset consists of:
Mix design parameters
Cement, filler, aggregate and water contents per m³, water-to-powder ratio, and related scalar descriptors used in the simulation.
Mixing power curves
Synthetic mixing curves with a fixed sequence length (90 time steps). Each curve represents the electrical power consumption of a single (hypothetical) mixer over one batch, simulated according to an empirically supported six-stage mixing model.
Reference slump flow values
Simulated slump flow for each mix, derived from empirical relationships between mix proportions, rheological parameters and slump flow reported in the literature.
Simulation framework
Mixing curves are generated using a six-stage concrete mixing kinetics model that captures key transitions such as granule formation, fluidity point and subsequent stabilization of power consumption. Slump flow labels are computed from the mix design and late-stage mixing power values using empirical relationships between mix proportions, rheological parameters, and slump flow.
The dataset therefore offers a controlled environment to test whether and how sequence models can learn to infer fresh concrete consistency from the temporal development of mixing power, beyond what can be obtained from mix proportions and single end-of-mixing power values.
Intended use
The dataset is designed for:
Pretraining and benchmarking sequence models (e.g. LSTM, GRU, transformers)
Comparing sequence-based and static models for consistency prediction
Method development for online quality assessment in concrete production
Teaching and demonstration of AI methods in civil / materials engineering
Variable Definition
torque_x: A series of 90 time-steps reflecting the mixer's power consumption from start until end of mixing. One value per time-step.
water, cement, filler, aggregate: (content of given mix constituents)
slump flow value: The slump flow value based on the mix proportion as well as the power consumption in mixing stage VI
Variable definitions, units and simulation parameters are documented in greater detail in the related publication.
Version history
2025-03: Initial upload.
2025-12: Updated version of the dataset including minor fixes and an updated terminology / naming convention across the board.

Gambaran Kristal Hemoglobin pada Bercak Darah yang Terpapar Beberapa Sabun Krim Menggunakan Tes Teichmann dan Takayama
The biologic sample like bloodstains are precious physical evidence thatcan be found at any crime scene. Bloodstains that be found can indicate struggleor murderer case and identification of bloodstains found at criminal scene cangive information about actual criminal acts. The criminals often try to remove orcamouflage bloodstains by using cleaning agents like cream detergent that makesbloodstains contamined with detergent surfactant and may be affect the chemicalbloodstains identification using Teichmann and Takayama test. The purposes ofthis experiment are to know the description of hemoglobin crystal at contaminedbloodstain with some cream detergents using Teichmann and Takayama test. Thisexperiment is the experimental description. This experiment has done inBiochemical Laboratory Medical Faculty of Riau University. There're 38 slidesthat made in this experiment with twice experiment (duplo). The bloodstain slideswere washed using cream detergent A, B, C, D, E, and F once until three times. The result of this experiment was positive in all bloodstain slide that washed bycream detergent when it tested with Teichmann and Takayama test
Stanisław Karol Teichmann – an attempt at identification. A supplement To Józef Lewandowski’s reflections on the biography of Krzysztof Kamil Baczyński
On the grounds of archival and other research, the author puts forward a hypothesis that the father of Stanisław Augustyn Baczyński was not the tailor Zygmunt Baczyński, an 1863 insurrectionist, but Alojzy Stanisław Piotr Teichman vel Teichmann, born in Terebovlia, son of Alojzy and Seweryna Eckhard, administration officer of the general hospital in Lviv. In an attempt to prove his thesis, the author presents family connections and social relations between the Teichman and Baczyński families

Crime scene may leave various items of evidence, one of them bloodstain. Bloodstain might provide valuable information that indicates a lot form of violence that can be used as a solution in a criminal case. Criminals often camouflage the traces or evidence by cleaning the bloodstains using cleaning agents to cover up the crime. One of the cleaning agents that may be used by criminal is liquid dish soap. Bloodstains that contaminated by liquid dish soap may affect the results of the examination using Teichmann and Takayama tests. The purpose of this study is to describe the hemoglobin crystal in bloodstains that contaminated by liquid dish soap using Teichmann and Takayama test. In this study, there were five liquid dish soap solutions swabbed onto bloodstained slides for each tests. The results show that all 22 slides (100 %) still have positive result which means the hemoglobin crystal still could be found in the contaminated bloodstain using Teichmann and Takayama test. The conclusion of this study is liquid dish soap that used might not affect the formation of hemoglobin crystal using Teichmann and Takayama test

Forensic investigation was not only done to investigate injuries sustained by the victim of crime, but also to investigate objects or other evidences, such as blood, in crime scene. Some forensic investigation that can confirm if suspected object is blood was confirmatory test (Teichmann and Takayama test). The criminals often wipe out blood using antiseptic liquid soap. In that case, it may give different description in forensic investigation. Therefore, the aim of this study was to know the description of hemoglobin crystal on bloodstain that exposed by antiseptic liquid soap with Teichmann and Takayama test. This study was experimental study with pre-test post-test design. There were 18 bloodstain slides as sample of this study, including 2 control slides and 16 slides that had been exposed with 4 antiseptic liquid soap brands. This study showed 18 bloodstain slides (100%) had positive result after exposed by using Teichmann and Takayama test and there were no changes of crystal's shape. It could be conclude that hemoglobin crystal still could be found in bloodstain that exposed by antiseptic liquid soap with Teichmann and Takayama test
