No full textIt is known that Gustave Guillaume was interested in the Basque language and, more particularly, in its verbal system. In sight of the correspondence he exchanged with the Bascologist George Lacombe and of the principal conferences during which he expressed specific interest in Basque, the author comments on his approach starting from a functionalist structuralist framework ; the author also raises some questions based on certain facts of language of which G Guillaume was not informed and on certain current problems relating to the Basque language.On sait que Gustave Guillaume s'est intéressé à la langue basque et plus particulièrement à son système verbal. No full textInternational audienceIn 1989 in Paris, a project was presented to integrate a theory of geographical forms with the theories of R. Thom, by means of A.J. Greimas’ general semiotics. The speakers were from Quebec: G. Ritchot, the author of this new structural theory of geography, and G. Desmarais, a PhD candidate in linguistics studying under J. Petitot at the EHESS. After a flurry of publications culminating in 2000, the project receded from the spotlight, as did Catastrophe Theory and the influence of structuralism in the social sciences in general. This paper analyses how G. Ritchot’s approach could give rise to such a project of mathematical modelling and anthropological and philosophical investigation, by focusing on the notions of form, discontinuity and dissipative dynamics. It also aims to show that it opened up many avenues that remain highly topical

Um die Viehzucht im Departement Deux-Sèvres zu behandeln, benutzt der Autor neue Quellen und zieht die Informatik zu Rate. Diese Art des Vorgehens erlaubt ihm sehr genaue räumliche Analysen, die manchmal durch eine sehr neue Verfahrensweise erstellt wurden, betreffend zum Beispiel die wirlschaf- tliche Ballung der Viehzucht. Aber um die aktuelle Situation und die jüngere Entwicklung der Viehzucht besser verstehen zu können slellt der Autor seine Studie standig in eine viel weiter gefasste Perspeklive, die es ihm erlaubt eine Gesamlheit von Faktoren vor Augen zu haben die das System der Agrarproduktion mehr oder minder begunsligen.SUMMARY
In his study of cattle-breeding in the Deux-Sèvres area, the author has drawn from new sources and submitted his findings to data-processing. This approach brings high precision to his spatial analyses which are occasionally of a relatively new type ; the economic concentration of livestock being a case in point.
Moreover, in order to improve his review of the present situation and of the recent evolution of cattle-breeding, the author constantly places his survey within a much broader perspective, thus bringing into bearing a whole range of factors capable of boosting to a certain degree the development of the agricultural systems in practice in the area considered.RÉSUMÉ
Pour étudier l'élevage bovin en Deux-Sèvres l'auteur utilise de nouvelles sources et fait appel au traitement informatique. Cette démarche lui permet de faire des analyses spatiales très précises et parfois d'un type assez nouveau concernant par exemple la concentration économique du cheptel. Mais pour mieux comprendre la situation actuelle et révolution récente de l'élevage bovin, l'auteur replace constamment son étude dans une perspective beaucoup plus vaste qui lui fait envisager tout un ensemble de fadeurs favorisant plus ou moins les systèmes de productions agricoles pratiqués.Vergneau G. On Mahler's conjecture for even s-concave functions in dimensions 1 and 2
No full textIn this paper, we establish different sharp forms of Mahler's conjecture for -concave even functions in dimensions , for and , for s>-1/n, thus generalizing our previous results in \cite{FN} on log-concave even functions in dimension 2, which corresponds to the case . The functional volume product of an even -concave function is where is the -polar function associated to . The analogue of Mahler's conjecture for even -concave functions postulates that this quantity is minimized for the indicatrix of a cube for any s>-1/n. In dimension , we prove this conjecture for all (the case was established by the first author and Mathieu Meyer in \cite[page 17]{FM10}). In dimension , we only consider the case : for s>0, we establish Mahler's conjecture for general -concave even functions; for s<0, the situation is more involved, we only prove a sharp inequality for -concave functions such that admits an asymptote in every direction. Notice that this set of functions is quite natural to consider, when s<0, since it is the largest subset of -concave functions stable by -duality

Get PDFEn la brevedad de este escrito, el autor expone el análisis derivado de su lectura de la novela realista titulada Madame Bovary, publicada en Paris entre 1856 y 1857 bajo la autoría del escritor francés Gustave Flaubert. En esta lectura, caracterizada por una amplia elaboración subjetiva, el autor propone una discusión a partir de dos elementos de análisis semióticos que corresponden en primer lugar a la clasificación del género literario en la cual es posible ubicar la citada novela de Flaubert, y en segundo lugar, a la propuesta de un núcleo temático que puede representar un importante eje de esta novela, dicho núcleo temático se define en esta reflexión como la negación del azar. Este último referente de análisis semiótico, permite plantear la discusión de un relevante concepto en no pocas meditaciones de orden ontológico, se hace alusión acá al concepto de deseo y por supuesto, a sus implicaciones en los actos y los destinos humanos.In the brevity of this paper, the author presents the analysis derived from his reading of the realist novelMadame Bovary, published in Paris between 1856 and 1857 under the authorship of the French writerGustave Flaubert. In this reading, characterized by a broad subjective elaboration, the author proposes adiscussion from two elements semiotic analysis that correspond primarily to the classification of the genre inwhich it is possible to locate the aforementioned novel from Flaubert, and secondly instead, the proposal for athematic core which can be a major focus of this novel, this thematic core defined in this reflection as thedenial of chance. This last reference of semiotic analysis, allows raising the discussion of a relevant concepton many meditations ontological order, reference is made here to the concept of "desire" and of course, theirimplications for the acts and human destinies

Dieser kritischen Notiz untersucht der Verfasser 10 Modelle politischer Entwicklung, die alle Methoden faktorieller und kausaler Analysen benützen. Nach einer Untersuchung der neueren Tendenzen der Analyse der politischen Gesellschaft (polity) zählt der Verfasser die Merkmale dieser Modelle auf. Die Formalisierungsversuche können kaum als zufriedenstellend gelten, sowohl vom substantiellen als auch vom methodologischen Standpunkt aus gesehen. Als Zusammenfassung werden Vorschläge fiir eine bessere Forschungsstrategie aufgeführt.Padioleau, Jean-G. : Модели развития. Вопрос сравнительного анализа в политической социологии.
В этой критической заметке автор рассматривает десять моделей политического развития, обращаясь к методам факторного и причинного анализа. По испытаниям, формализация кажется не очень удовлетворительной, как с точки зрения существенности, так и с точки зрения методологии. In this critical notice the author examines ten patterns of political development based on the methods of factor and causal analysis. After considering the current trends in the study of politics he then makes a census of these patterns' characteristics. The attempts at formalization seem unsatisfactory in their substance as in their methods. Some suggestions for a more adequate research strategy are brought forward by way of conclusion.J.-G. Dieser Aufsatz beschreibt einen theoretischen Rahmen zum Studium des politischen Denkens der Staatsburger. Ausgehend von Arbeiten von J. S. Bruner, L. Kohlberg, J. Piaget, wird in einer ersten Analyse ein längschnittliches Schema der Entwicklung des politischen Denkens umrissen. Anschliessend zeigt der Verfasser, dass die kognitive Entwicklung des Staatsbürgers auch von der erlebten soziokulturellen Umgebung abhangt, oder, um es genauer zu sagen, von der Kapazität einer gegebenen Umgebung nicht nur Anreize zu liefern sondern auch Antworten auf die Handlungen des Staatsbûrgers, geeignet, diese Entwicklung zu förden.Jean G. This article describes a theoretical outline for studying citizens' political thinking. This analysis, on the basis of J. S. Bruner's, L. Kohlberg's and J. Piaget's works, first sketches a longitudinal diagram of the development of political thinking. The author next shows that a citizen's cognitive development also depends upon the sociocultural environment which he has experienced or, to be more precise, upon a given environment's capacity to furnish not only stimuli but also answers to citizen which favor this development.Jean G.
