Desenvolvimento de aplicações web em plataforma de low-code
No full textMestrado em IPB-ESTGO presente relatório surge no âmbito da unidade curricular “Dissertação/Trabalho de Projeto/estágio” inserida no mestrado em Informática do IPB. Este resume os trabalhos, experiências e conhecimentos adquiridos durante a realização do estágio na Glintt, que decorreu sob a orientação do Engenheiro Tiago Padrão da entidade de acolhimento e do Professor Rui Pedro Lopes. Os principais objetivos deste estágio enquadram-se em integrar equipas de trabalho assim como integração nas tarefas diárias, consolidação do funcionamento da empresa e dos processos de comunicação efetuados. O estágio focou-se no desenvolvimento de soluções utilizando a plataforma Low-Code OutSystems. Apoiar a área no desenvolvimento/programação de aplicações (Web e/ou Mobile), através da tecnologia OutSystems, de acordo com as boas práticas estabelecidas, com qualidade e dentro dos prazos definidos. Por fim, abordar de uma maneira geral como foi o funcio- namento de todo o estágio, nomeadamente, quais as capacidades desenvolvidas, quais os conhecimentos adquiridos e projetos desenvolvidos.This report is part of the course unit “Dissertation/Project Work/Internship” in the mas- ter’s degree program in Informatics of IPB. This report summarizes the work, experiences and knowledge acquired during the internship at Glintt, which took place under the gui- dance of Engineer Tiago Padrão from the host entity and Professor Rui Pedro Lopes. The main target of this internship is to integrate in work teams as well as in the daily tasks, consolidation of the operation of the company and the communication processes carried out. The internship focused on the development of solutions using the Low-Code OutSystems platform. Support the area in the development/programming of applications (Web and/or Mobile), using the OutSystems technology, according to established best practices, with quality and within the defined deadlines. Finally, to address in a general way how the whole internship, namely, what skills were developed, what knowledge was acquired and the projects developed

No full textsupervisão do Rui Pedro Lopes, Tiago PedrosaNas últimas décadas, o constante avanço das Tecnologias de Informação levaram à geração, manipulação e armazenamento de grandes quantidades de dados, ainda mais potenciados pela diminuição dos custos de dispositivos de armazenamento, pelo acesso facilitado à Internet e pela evolução de sistemas de informação e ferramentas de gestão de dados. Com esta explosão, surge a necessidade de apostar em novas formas para encontrar formas eficazes e inteligentes de obter e consultar informação útil. Ao nível da gestão de sistemas e de redes, a informação de gestão segue a mesma tendência, tornando indispensável o desenvolvimento de novas formas de manipulação de informação para que a tarefa dos os administradores de sistemas seja o mais eficaz e eficiente possível.
A visualização de informação é aplicada em situações em que a quantidade de
dados seja de tal forma grande que torne difícil a tomada de decisões. As diferentes técnicas de visualização procuram ajudar a interpretar os dados, auxiliando a obter conhecimento que, de outra forma seria difícil de conseguir.
Neste contexto, este trabalho procura incidir sobre os paradigmas e as abordagens de visualização aplicadas à temática da gestão de sistemas e de redes. As situações que mais podem beneficiar desta aplicação são várias e diversas, facilitando, em última instância, a interpretação dos dados que resultam da instrumentação do funcionamento dos sistemas e das redes

ATP13A2 and Alpha-synuclein: a Metal Taste in Autophagy.
No full textParkinson's Disease (PD) is a complex and multifactorial disorder of both idiopathic and genetic origin. Thus far, more than 20 genes have been linked to familial forms of PD. Two of these genes encode for ATP13A2 and alpha-synuclein (asyn), proteins that seem to be members of a common network in both physiological and disease conditions. Thus, two different hypotheses have emerged supporting a role of ATP13A2 and asyn in metal homeostasis or in autophagy. Interestingly, an appealing theory might combine these two cellular pathways. Here we review the novel findings in the interaction between these two proteins and debate the exciting roads still ahead

Silva, 48 anos, operário e ex-apenado por três anos (no período de 2008 a 2010), no Presídio Central de Porto Alegre, Penitenciária Estadual do Jacuí (PEJ), Colônia Penal de Charqueadas e Penitenciária Modulada de Montenegro; e Tiago, estudante, operário e artista. A força vital, pedagogia e teatralidade da risada do Pateta, e linguagens artísticas sensíveis ao olhar de Silva, durante o período de reclusão.This work consists of the transcription and analysis of a dialogue between two friends. Silva, 48 years old, worker and ex-convict for three years (from 2008 to 2010), in the Porto Alegre Central Prison, Jacuí State Penitentiary (PEJ), Charqueadas Penal Colony and Montenegro Modulated Penitentiary; and Tiago, student, worker and artist. Structure, function and toxicity of alpha‐synuclein: the Bermuda triangle in synucleinopathies
No full textParkinson's disease belongs to a group of currently incurable neurodegenerative disorders characterized by the misfolding and accumulation of alpha-synuclein aggregates that are commonly known as synucleinopathies. Clinically, synucleinopathies are heterogeneous, reflecting the somewhat selective neuronal vulnerability characteristic of each disease. The precise molecular underpinnings of synucleinopathies remain unclear, but the process of aggregation of alpha-synuclein appears as a central event. However, there is still no consensus with respect to the toxic forms of alpha-synuclein, hampering our ability to use the protein as a target for therapeutic intervention. To decipher the molecular bases of synucleinopathies, it is essential to understand the complex triangle formed between the structure, function and toxicity of alpha-synuclein. Recently, important steps have been undertaken to elucidate the role of the protein in both physiological and pathological conditions. Here, we provide an overview of recent findings in the field of alpha-synuclein research, and put forward a new perspective over paradigms that persist in the field. Establishing whether alpha-synuclein has a causative role in all synucleinopathies will enable the identification of targets for the development of novel therapeutic strategies for this devastating group of disorders. Alpha-synuclein is the speculated cornerstone of several neurodegenerative disorders known as Synucleinopathies. Nevertheless, the mechanisms underlying the pathogenic effects of this protein remain unknown. Here, we review the recent findings in the three corners of alpha-synuclein biology - structure, function and toxicity - and discuss the enigmatic roads that have accompanied alpha-synuclein from the beginning. Cruel amor (1910), por sua vez, talvez seja um dos romances ainda mais desconhecido de toda a vasta obra ficcional da autora e um dos menos estudados. Portanto, o que proponho aqui é uma análise dos aspectos gerais desse romance, evidenciando o máximo possível de elementos que caracterizam um texto literário. O enredo ficcionaliza uma comunidade de pescadores da praia de Copacabana, no Rio de Janeiro. A partir disso, a autora constrói uma narrativa na qual incorpora toda uma complexa rede de relações de interdependência que envolvem seus personagens sem que eles possam controlar. São indivíduos que formam e que, ao mesmo tempo, são formados pela sociedade em que vivem. Também, dada a escassez de aporte de análises críticas sobre a obra, trago à baila a abordagem de duas pesquisadoras, Lúcia Miguel Pereira e Gabriela Simonetti Trevisan, cada uma representando um contexto diferente de recepção crítica, a fim de evidenciar como o próprio interesse dos estudos literários muda com tempo. Isso porque a primeira foi a única estudiosa a lembrar de Júlia Lopes de Almeida em um momento em que a escritora ficou esquecida pela crítica literária brasileira; a segunda representa a crítica sobre a autora produzida contemporaneamente, mais voltada para os estudos de gênero e de como isso se afigura na literatura almeidiana. Nesse sentido, este trabalho também é um diálogo com as pesquisadoras. Me valho também do texto de Norbert Elias – A sociedade dos indivíduos – como suporte teórico da perspectiva de análise que adoto aqui. Uma das conclusões a que chego neste trabalho é a de que Júlia Lopes de Almeida escreve um romance em que expõe ao leitor a vida de personagens vivendo em relação de interdependência, em uma sociedade atravessada por ideologias e obrigações. Por isso, não são seres humanos completamente livres, muito menos em busca de liberdade.Abstract:This work arose from an interest in studying the work of an author still unknown to many in Brazilian literature: Júlia Lopes de Almeida. Cruel Amor (1910), in turn, is perhaps one of the most unknown novels in the author's vast fictional work and one of the least studied. Therefore, what I propose here is an analysis of the general aspects of this novel, highlighting as many elements as possible that characterize a literary text. The plot fictionalizes a fishing community on Copacabana beach, in Rio de Janeiro. From this, the author builds a narrative in which she incorporates an entire complex network of interdependent relationships that involve her characters without their being able to control. They are individuals who form and who, at the same time, are formed by the society in which they live. Also, given the scarcity of critical analysis on the work, I bring up the approach of two researchers, Lúcia Miguel Pereira and Gabriela Simonetti Trevisan, each representing a different context of critical reception, in order to highlight how the interests of Literary studies changes over time. This is because the first was the only scholar to remember Júlia Lopes de Almeida at a time when the writer was forgotten by Brazilian literary criticism; the second represents the criticism about the author produced contemporaneously, more focused on gender studies and how this appears in Almeidian literature. In this sense, this work is also a dialogue with the researchers. I also use Norbert Elias’ text – The Society of Individuals – as theoretical support for the analytical perspective I adopt here. One of the conclusions I reach in this work is that Júlia Lopes de Almeida writes a novel in which she exposes the reader to the lives of characters living in relationships of interdependence, in a society crossed by ideologies and obligations. Therefore, they are not completely free human beings, much less in search of freedom
