Spallone (Politecnico di Torino) e la prof. López (Universitat Politècnica de València) vincitrice del bando per "Soggiorni di professori e ricercatori senior in centri esteri" finanziati dal Ministero della Scienza, dell'Innovazione e dell'Università di Spagna.
L'obiettivo generale dell’indagine è applicare le tecnologie digitali laser scanner per il rilevamento di manufatti storici caratterizzati da superfici complesse, da confrontare con l’analisi della struttura geometrica, documentata nella trattatistica e nei materiali archivistici, che sta alla base del processo ideativo.
“New Technologies Aimed to Analysis and Conservation of Architectural Heritage” is the title of a research project in progress, which involves the research group supervised by prof. Spallone (Politecnico di Torino) and prof. López (Universitat Politècnica de València) winner of the call for "Stays of senior professors and researchers in foreign centers" funded by Ministery of Science, Innovation, and University of Spain. Prof. López has been invited for three months at the Politecnico di Torino.
The general aim of the work is to apply laser scanner digital technologies for the metric survey of historical artefacts featured by complex surfaces, to be compared with the analysis of their geometric structure, which is the basis of the ideational process and is documented in the treatises and archival materials

Get PDFIn this article, we intend to shed a light on a little-known aspect of Eduardo López Bago’s literary production, i.e. his work as a translator. In 1884, he began to translate long extracts from Emile zola’s critical work and insert them as appendices to of each of his subsequent novels. Meanwhile, he also undertook a much larger work by translating Daudet’s novel entitled Sapho. At first, we will show what is at stake in these two different undertakings. Then, we will study how López Bago’s work was received in the late 19th century in France. It actually, as we will argue, comes down to the scandal triggered in Paris by his translation of Daudet. We will finally attempt to connect his work as a translator with his own fictional creation as a Spanish Naturalist writer.En este artículo, querríamos aclarar un aspecto desconocido de la obra literaria de Eduardo López Bago, e interesarnos a su trabajo de traductor. En 1884, empieza a traducir largos extractos de los artículos críticos de Emile zola en los apéndices que se encuentran al final de sus novelas. Durante este mismo año, se propone traducir una obra más larga, la novela Safo escrita por Alfonso Daudet. Empezaremos nuestro estudio subrayando los principales motivos de estos trabajos de traducción tan distintos, y después nos concentraremos en la recepción de López Bago en la Francia del siglo XIX, que finalement se reduce al escándalo provocado en París por su traducción de Safo. Por fin, demostraremos como su trabajo de traducción se articula con su creación novelesca de autor naturalista
