Лісового, вивчено слідчо-судову розправу над дисидентами.In January 1972, a large-scale wave of arrests of leading figures of the Ukrainian national movement was organized by the efforts of the State Secu-rity Committee (KGB) during the partial implementation of the «Block» se-cret case. One of the few representatives of the Ukrainian intelligentsia who dared to speak out against the repressive actions of the authorities were the Kyiv philosophers Yevhen Pronyuk and Vasyl Lisovyi. The regime’s massacre of them was part of the KGB’s comprehensive measures to suppress the Ukraini-an national movement in the first half of the 1970’s. The purpose of the article is a comprehensive and in-depth study of the KGB’s persecution of dissidents Ye. Pronyuk and V. Lisovyi during the wave of repressions in 1972–1973. The tasks of the study are to reveal the essence of the dissidents’ protest activity in the first half of 1972, to trace the operational-agency measures of the KGB, to cover the course of the special operation regarding the detention of Ye. Pro-nyuk and V. Lisovyi, and to analyze the process of the subsequent investigation and trial of the dissidents.The methodological basis of the article was the principles of objectivity, his-toricism, comprehensiveness, continuity, as well as a complex of general scien-tific and special-historical methods. A cross-analysis and comparison of infor-mation from historical sources of various origins was carried out to establish an objective picture of events. The scientific novelty is due to the introduction into scientific circulation of a complex of little-known documents from the Sectoral State Archive of the Security Service of Ukraine, which allow us to reveal the es-sence of the repressive policy of the Soviet regime against Ukrainian dissidents in the early 1970s. In the article, for the first time, a comprehensive analysis of the methods and measures of the KGB in the organization of repressions against Ye. Pronyuk and V. Lisovyi was carried out, the special operation regarding the detention of dissidents was analyzed, and the course of the investigation and tri-al against them was studied.The author concludes that the attempts of Ye. Pronyuk and V. Lisovyi to protest against the intensification of repression met with a fairly quick reaction from the Soviet regime. In the process of the KGB’s persecution of Ye. Pronyuk and V. Lisovyi, three successive stages can be distinguished: 1) February — June 1972 — opera-tional-agency measures; 2) June 21 — July 6, 1972 — special operation regarding detention; 3) July 1972 — December 1973 — investigation and trial. During the first stage, in order to collect information about the illegal activities of Ye. Pronyuk, V. Lisovyi and their associates, KGB employees actively used the agent network, in-formants, and the external surveillance service. The reason for the dissidents’ deten-tion was their attempt to spread the text of the «Open letter to the Members of the Central Committee of the CPSU and the Central Committee of the Communist Par-ty of Ukraine» authored by V. Lisovyi by sending it to party bodies and Ukrainian writers. Thanks to the assistance of the agency network, the KGB employees man-aged to organize the detention of Ye. Pronyuk directly during the attempt to distrib-ute the document; at the same time, V. Lisovyi was also behind bars. Tracking and specific actions of punitive bodies during the special operation against philosophers were under constant control of the higher party leadership of the Ukrainian SSR.During the investigation, the KGB employees used methods of moral and psy-chological pressure against the prisoners, tried to intimidate them, and attempt-ed to obtain cross-examinations from them against each other. The authorities successfully used the carefully staged trial of dissidents to prevent the Kyiv sci-entific intelligentsia. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. No full textWe have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
