No full textKäesoleva lõputöö eesmärgiks oli Tallinna linnaruumi rõivaste ja tekstiiltoodete parandamiseks õmblusparandustöökoja loomine Tallinna Strateegiakeskuse pilootprojekti „Jäätmejaamade ümberkujundamine ringmajanduskeskusteks, korduskasutuse edendamine ja parandustöökodade loomine“ raames.
Lõputöö eesmärgi täitmiseks tutvus lõputöö autor ELi liikmesriikides ringmajandusliku majandusmudeli sisseviimiseks ja rakendamiseks kehtestatud normdokumentidega, mis suunavad nii ettevõtjad pakkuma kui tarbijaid tegema kestlikemaid valikuid. Euroopa Komisjoni poolt vastu võetud toodete parandamise edendamist toetavate meetmete eesmärgiks on muuta korduskasutus ja parandamine tarbijatele lihtsamaks ja vastuvõetavamaks kui toote väljavahetamine.
Rõiva- ja tekstiilijäätmete hetkeolukorda mõjutavad faktoreid, olemasolevaid ja tulevikku vaatavaid tegevusi käsitles autor Tallinna linna kontekstis. Koostöös kasutatud rõivaste ja tekstiilide korduskasutusega tegelevate organisatsioonidega on linna eesmärk suurendada korduskasutamise ja parandamisega jäätmeteket ning toetada uuenduslike ärimudelite arendamist.
Uuskasutuskeskuse Sõpruse pst kaupluses õmblustoa teenuse pakkumiseks selgitati välja loodava õmblusparandustöökoja sisseseadmiseks vajalikud tegevused, kaardistati parandusteenuseid pakkuvad töökojad Tallinnas, analüüsiti teenust pakkuvate ettevõttete hinnakirju ja koostati nimekiri õmblustoas pakutavatest parandusteenustest.
Õmblustoa teenuse pakkumiseks, parandusteenuse pakkumise arendamiseks ja hindamiseks koostati küsimustik parandusteenuse hetkeseisust ülevaate saamiseks ning hinnangu andmiseks. Küsimustiku andmete analüüsiga selgitati välja vajadused parandusteenuse kasutamiseks, teenuse varasema kasutamisega seotud kitsaskohad, parandamist motiveerivad tegurid ja tarbijate arvates enim parandamist vajavad tooted.
Osalusvaatlusega selgitas autor välja, mis on parandustööde teostamiseks olulised kriteeriumid, mida on vaja parandada ja milliseid töövõtteid selleks kasutada. Parandusteenuse osutajana tööprotsessis osaledes nõustati ja juhendati õmblustuba külastanud kliente.
Järelduste ja ettepanekutega tõi autor välja klientide vajadused ja ootused parandusteenuse kasutamisel ning andis omapoolseid soovitusi, kuidas saadud teadmiste baasil teenuse pakkumise parendamisega jõuda suurema hulga inimesteni. Küsimustiku alusel parandamist vajavate toodete ja õmblustoas parandatud toodetega seotud andmete võrdluse alusel koostati hinnakiri õmblustoas parandusteenuse osutamisega jätkamiseks.
Parandamine on oluline osa igapäevaelust. Juba rõivaid ostes tuleb tarbijal mõelda toote kestvusele ja jätkusuutlikkusele, võimalusele kanda toodet pikka aega seda õigesti hooldades ja vajadusel ise parandades või parandusteenust kasutades. Lõppkokkuvõttes ei ole oluline, mida me kanname, oluline on, et kanname seda rõiva eluea lõpuni.The aim of this thesis was to set up a sewing repair workshop for the repair of garments and textiles in the Tallinn urban space within the framework of the Tallinn Strategy Centre's pilot project "Transformation of waste stations into circular economy centres, promotion of re-use and creation of repair workshops".
In order to achieve the objective of the thesis, the author of the thesis studied the normative documents established in the EU Member States for the introduction and implementation of the circular economy model, which guide both businesses to offer and consumers to make more sustainable choices. Measures adopted by the European Commission to promote the improvement of products aim to make re-use and repair easier and more acceptable to consumers than product replacement.
Factors influencing the current situation of clothing and textile waste, existing and forward-looking activities were considered in the context of the city of Tallinn. In cooperation with organisations involved in the re-use of used clothing and textiles, the city aims to increase waste generation through re-use and recovery and to support the development of innovative business models.
In order to provide a sewing room service in the Sõpruse pst shop of the Uuskasutuskeskus, the activities necessary for setting up a sewing repair workshop were identified, a map of workshops offering repair services in Tallinn was made, the price lists of companies offering the service were analysed and a list of repair services offered in the sewing room was compiled.
For the provision of the sewing room service, the development and evaluation of the repair service, a questionnaire was prepared to provide an overview of the current state of the repair service and to provide an evaluation. The questionnaire data was analysed to identify the needs for the use of the repair service, the bottlenecks related to the previous use of the service, the motivating factors for repair, and the products that consumers considered most in need of repair.
Through a participatory observation, the author identified the criteria for carrying out the repair work, what needs to be repaired and the techniques to be used. As a repair service provider, customers visiting the sewing room were advised and instructed during the repair process.
With the conclusions and suggestions, the author identified the needs and expectations of customers when using the improvement service and gave his own recommendations on how to reach more people by improving the service based on the knowledge gained. Based on a comparison of the data on products in need of repair and products repaired in the sewing room, a price list was drawn up for the continuation of the repair service in the sewing room.
Improvement is an important part of everyday life. Even when buying clothes, consumers need to think about the durability and sustainability of the product, the possibility of wearing it for a long time, taking care of it properly and, if necessary, repairing it themselves or using a repair service. Ultimately, it doesn't matter what we wear, what matters is that we wear it for the rest of its life
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
