Modulation of Asymmetric Magnetic Domain-Wall Motion via Noncolinear Interlayer Exchange Coupling
The search of scalable approach to design field-free deterministic switching is currently a key challenge. Here, we investigate current and magnetic driven magnetization switching in a T-type magnetic heterojunction with a structure composed by a hybrid synthetic antiferromagnet (SAF) Co/Ta/CoTb/Pt, where the bottom Co layer has in-plane magnetic anisotropy (IMA) and the top CoTb layer has perpendicular magnetic anisotropy (PMA). The interlayer exchange coupling (IEC) interaction allows a tilted easy axis of the perpendicular CoTb layer. The main result achieved is the field-free magnetization switching driven by spin-orbit torque (SOT) with a switching direction (clockwise or counterclockwise), which can be controlled by the in-plane direction of the Co magnetization. Meanwhile, we demonstrate that the IEC also induces the asymmetric bubble expansion in the CoTb layer in field-driven experiments and favors the propagation of the domain walls (DWs) with internal magnetization antiparallel to the in-plane IEC field. Our results demonstrate versatile control of the DW motion by noncollinear IEC, which paves a potential way for designing energy-efficient spintronic memory and logic devices, as well as provides a promising and high-efficiency approach for detecting the IEC type by magneto-optical Kerr effect (MOKE) in T-type magnetic heterojunction

Cihua 詞 話 Version of the Jin Ping Mei 金 瓶 梅
This research note seeks to analyze the different translation strategies of two sinologist-translators, David Tod Roy and André Lévy, when confronted with a work as complex as the Jin Ping Mei 金 瓶 梅 , and in particular their different choices regarding the translations of qu 曲 (lyrics or songs). I first analyze the uses and functions of qu in the cihua 詞 話 version of the Jin Ping Mei and then present the different points of view of the translators concerning the ideological and aesthetic values of the author and the organization of his narrative. The note also discusses their strategies when confronted with the difficulties of translation of the intertexts structured around the qu as well as the potential effects of these translation choices on their readers. Finally, the note proposes some hypotheses concerning the reasons that motivated these choices. Li Shiwei.
International audienceAt the end of the 19th century, facing the national crisis, Chinese intellectuals and reformers such as Liang Qichao 梁 启 超 (1873-1929) emphasized the need to promote women’s education; this nationalist feminist movement meant to free women in order to make it possible for them to take part in the modernization of the country. The debate and discussion on “woman questions” and the modernization of the country continued during the May Fourth Movement, as well as the New Culture Movement. Important intellectuals of the May Fourth movement, such as Chen Duxiu 陈独秀(1879-1942) and Hu Shi 胡 适 (1891-1962) gave their opinions on these subjects. According to them, women are victims of the Confucian system, and they think that the best way to promote individualism and modern ideas of democracy lies in their emancipation, and in the rejection of Confucian morality. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the images of the “new woman” depicted in the literary works of May Fourth women writers in the 1920s and 1930s, such as Lu Yin 庐隐(1898 -1934), Ling Shuhua 凌叔华(1900 -1990) and Feng Yuanjun 冯沅君(1900-1974), who contributed to the debate on “woman questions “ through their literary works, mostly autobiographical, inspired by their own experiences and observations, especially concerning issues such as gender, sexuality, gender equality, and the redefinition of the social role of women, topics often overlooked by male intellectuals. They all offered highly varied interpretations of the “new woman” in the modernization of the country.À la fin du XIXe siècle, face à la crise nationale, les intellectuels et les réformateur Chinois comme Liang Qichao 梁启超(1873-1929) ont proposé de promouvoir l’éducation des femmes, ce mouvement féministe nationaliste visant à libérer les femmes afin qu’elles participent activement à la modernisation du pays.
