    LEXION is the name of the largest series of combines made by the CLAAS factory in Germany. LEXION was introduced on the Swedish market 1996 and was for sale in Sweden from 1997. LMB have sold over 400 LEXION-combines in Sweden. In cooperation with the Swedish general agency we decided to make a market research on the Swedish LEXION-market. The questionnaire was supposed to give answers about capacity and technical equipment. Before I made the questionnaire I studied manuals and combines. I got 81 answers of about 325 questionnaires. That makes 25 % reply frequency. I had estimated a larger number of answers. Because of the low reply frequency the results are not significant in all questions. The grades are totally quite high and the average of all grades and LEXION-models are 4, 14 out of five.LEXION är namnet på den största serien av skördetröskor som tillverkas av tyska CLAAS. I Sverige lanserades LEXION-serien 1996 och började säljas 1997. Totalt har mer än 400 LEXION-tröskor sålts i Sverige sedan 1997. I samarbete med generalagenten Lantmännens Maskinimport AB, LMB, konstaterades att det vore intressant att genomföra en enkät som skickades ut till samtliga LEXION-ägare i Sverige. Enkäten skulle ge svar på vilken kapacitet man har på de nio olika modellerna i serien. En stor del av enkäten bestod av frågor angående teknisk utrustning och tillbehör till tröskorna. Innan arbetet med enkäten startade studerade jag instruktionsböcker, produktkataloger och tröskor grundligt för att jag skulle vara väl insatt i produkterna och därmed lättare kunna ställa relevanta frågor. Jag fick 81 svar av 325 utskickade enkäter, vilket motsvarar en svarsfrekvens på ca 25 %. Svarsfrekvensen var låg och innebar att tillförlitligheten i resultatet kan ifrågasättas i vissa fall. Den del av enkäten som innebar betygssättning av teknisk utrustning gav ett överlag högt medelbetyg. För alla modeller och alla frågor som betygsatts blev medelbetyget 4,14 på en femgradig skala där 1 är lägsta och 5 är högsta betyg. Tack vare de svar jag fick in kunde en databas byggas upp och med hjälp av denna kan man läsa ut skillnader mellan olika modeller, årsmodeller, landskap o s v. Med dessa data som grund kan LMB och tröskförsäljare lättare ge rekommendationer då en kund befinner sig i situationen att välja mellan olika LEXION-modeller

    Derived from the Etruscan and Greek alphabets, Latin is a classical language that has influenced modern languages such as English, French, Italian and Spanish. With its Latin and Greek roots, this paper argues that the word lexion is an appropriate and necessary addition to the English language. Lex in Latin means, law, syllabus, statue and dharma. Lex in Ancient Greek means ‘the Word’ or logos. Drawing from Plato, this paper argues that lexion is the lore, law and dharma that upholds or bears an idea or perfect Form. A lexion emerges at the confluence of forces aligned with the archetype, thus forming the metaphysical body or spirit of an organisation. It is argued that a new term is necessary to name this phenomenon as current terms, while appropriate in some contexts, are often inadequate, limited and at times misleading.     This bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of Claas Lexion 770 and Claas Lexion 8700 TT hybrid combine harvesters. These machines are compared in the thesis in terms of losses, fuel consumption, economic parameters, performance and throughput. The result of the comparison of economic parameters is a turning point diagram, which determines which combine harvester pays off depending on the hectares harvested. The turning poing diagram also shows a comparison of whether it is worthwhile for the enterprise to own the harvester or whether it is more profitable for the enterprise to hire harvesting services. All the information and documents needed for this comparison were collected during the harvesting season at AGRO, družstvo Záhoří and were obtained through a number of experiments during the work of the harvesters. As the machines are similar in terms of performance, this work is also intended as a comparison of the improved threshing system of the Claas Lexion 8700 TT with the older system of the Claas Lexion 770
