Model leta helikoptera
U ovom radu izrađen je model leta helikoptera. Za dinamiku leta primijenjen je 6DOF model. Za model rotora koristi se analitički matemetički model koji je primjenjen na glavni rotor i, uz neke preinake, na repni rotor. Modelirani su i trup letjelice te vertikalni i horizontalni stabilizator. Cijeli model rađen je unutar MATLAB/Simulink okružja te je napravljeno povezivanje s FlightGear vizualizacijskom aplikacijom za simulaciju u stvarnom vremenu. Najvažnije komponente uspoređene su s podacima iz literature odnosno s drugim, verificiranim, modelima. Primjenjeni 6DOF model je verificiran s postojećim modelom. Model glavnog rotora je uspoređen s rezultatima modela po teoriji elementarnog kraka (BET) u lebdenju i horizontalnom letu. Model repnog rotora uspoređen je u lebdenju. Rezultati analize i usporedbe pokazuju dobra poklapanja. Manja odstupanja su objašnjena i svojstvena su korištenju analitičkog modela rotora
"Progressive? Mothers: Feminist Eugenics and Leta S. Hollingworth
Leta S. Hollingworth was an early 20th century U.S. Psychologist, active during what is commonly referred to as the Progressive Era. While initial scholarship on Leta Hollingworth during the 1960s and ‘70s had celebratory aims geared towards her role as a feminist Psychologist, more recent scholarship has attempted to unpack her engagement with the eugenics movement. Using archival materials and drawing inspiration from scholars that challenge the limits of the archive, the present thesis explores Hollingworth’s scholarship and activism, fleshing out her own feminist and eugenic ideologies. I then forward the argument that Hollingworth did not hold feminist and eugenic ideologies together with tension, but reconciled them through the logic of another movement, feminist eugenics. This thesis ends with a discussion of how studying the life and scholarship of an early 20th-century feminist eugenicist serves as a cautionary tale for contemporary bioethical debate
Analiza senzitivnosti parametara generičkog modela leta helikoptera
This thesis presents a comprehensive approach to developing and tuning a helicopter flight model for simulation of flight performance, with a focus on a prototype helicopter under development. Conducted at Zürich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), the research involves several key tasks aimed at refining the model to achieve satisfactory similarity with real-flight data. The thesis begins with a description of the helicopter flight model and its relevant sub-models, including aerodynamics, propulsion, controls, and dynamics. Subsequently, potential tunable parameters for the model are identified through analysis of its components. These parameters are then subjected to sensitivity analysis to understand their impact on stability and overall flight characteristics. Based on the sensitivity analysis results, recommendations are made for a list of parameters deemed suitable for tuning the helicopter flight model. The criteria for evaluation encompass the significance of each parameter in influencing flight performance and the feasibility of adjusting them to match real-flight behavior. This research contributes to the advancement of helicopter flight modeling by providing a systematic methodology for parameter identification, sensitivity analysis, and model tuning. The findings offer insights into enhancing the fidelity of helicopter simulation models, with implications for various applications including training, research, and development.Ovaj rad predstavlja sveobuhvatan pristup razvoju i podešavanju modela leta helikoptera za simulaciju leta, s fokusom na prototip helikoptera u razvoju. Provedeno na Zurich University of Applied Science (ZHAW), istraživanje uključuje nekoliko ključnih zadataka s ciljem usavršavanja modela kako bi se postigla zadovoljavajuća sličnost s podacima stvarnog leta. Rad započinje opisom modela leta helikoptera i pripadajućih podmodela, uključujući aerodinamiku, pogon, upravljanje i dinamiku. Naknadno, potencijalni prilagodljivi parametri za model identificiraju se kroz analizu njegovih komponenti. Exploring cocoa properties : is theobromine a cognitive modulator?
Nutritional qualities of cocoa have been acknowledged by several authors; a particular focus has been placed on its high content of flavanols, known for their excellent antioxidant properties and subsequent protective effect on cardio- and cerebrovascular systems as well as for neuromodulatory and neuroprotective actions. Other active components of cocoa are methylxanthines (caffeine and theobromine). Whereas the effects of caffeine are extensively researched, the same is not the case for theobromine; this review summarizes evidence on the effect of theobromine on cognitive functions. Considering animal studies, it can be asserted that acute exposition to theobromine has a reduced and delayed nootropic effect with respect to caffeine, whereas both animal and human studies suggested a potential neuroprotective action of long-term assumption of theobromine through a reduction of Aβ amyloid pathology, which is commonly observed in Alzheimer’s disease patients’ brains. Hence, the conceivable action of theobromine alone and associated with caffeine or other cocoa constituents on cognitive modulation is yet underexplored and future studies are needed to shed light on this promising molecule

Jugoslovanski federalizem in ustavni zakon leta 1953
On the basis of archive sources and professional literature, the author deals with the 1953 Constitutional Law from the viewpoint of Yugoslav federalism and the national question. Special attention is dedicated to the abolition of the Council of Nationalities, as an independent chamber in the Federal Assembly, and the introduction, in its stead, of the Producers\u27 Council which was class rather than nationality based. The author concludes that the Constitutional Law drastically limited the rights of individual nationalities and federal units, which had been, at least formally, guaranteed by the 1946 Constitution.Avtorica na podlagi arhivskih virov in strokovne literature obravnava ustavni zakon iz leta 1953 s stališča jugoslovanskega federalizma in nacionalnega vprašanja. V ospredje postavlja ukinitev zbora narodov kot samostojnega doma zvezne skupščine in uvedbo zbora proizvajalcev, katerega podlaga ni bil nacionalni, temveč razredni element. Avtorica ugotavlja, da so bile z ustavnim zakonom močno omejene pravice posameznih narodov oziroma federalnih enot, ki jim jih je vsaj formalno zagotavljala že ustava iz leta 1946
