Pochi, benedetti e subito.

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Investigations of Motorcycle Mid-Corner Instability Using a Three Degree-of-Freedom Minimal Model
A minimal three degrees of freedom model is developed and used to investigate unstable modes during high roll angle and acceleration maneuvers. During high roll angle maneuvers, it is found that there are unstable modes in the 6 Hz to 9 Hz range. The modes share similar characteristics to that of the unstable driveline or “chatter” mode found in braking maneuvers, except at a lower frequency caused by the higher inertia about the roll axis, which is the facilitating factor to the tire vertical oscillations. Power analysis shows that a combination of tire frictional characteristics and governing relationships can lead to a phase lag between tire forces and tire slip velocities that causes to instability, and eigenvalue sensitivity analysis shows which modeling parameters have the most effect on the stability boundaries
Cash or M-Payment? The dilemma of payment behavior during the Covid-19
The COVID-19 pandemic represented an unexpected shock to the global economy, with a significant impact on business and consumer behaviour, particularly on spending and payments. This article aims to identify the drivers affecting consumers’ payment behaviour in Italy during the COVID-19 lockdown. We develop an empirical study, using structural equation modelling on data collected from 2,872 consumers in the period May 2020–June 2020 through the computer-assisted web interviewing methodology. A robustness check is run with an ordinary least squares (OLS) regression analysis. The findings highlight the positive and significant effect of COVID-19 worries on consumers’ payment behaviour. The uniqueness of this work derives from the creative approach with which it investigates the financial and social consequences of the COVID-19 crisis and focuses on possible solutions to encourage the adoption of innovative tools
Expectations of bank automation: the influence of consumer cognitive schema
Purpose
This study aims to investigate the drivers of bank automation system performance expectancy compared to that of bank employees. The purpose is to shed light on the role played by consumers' cognitive schema on automation that is the perfect automation schema (PAS).
Design/methodology/approach
A survey was administered to about 500 Italian subjects to measure their PAS; financial knowledge, anxiety, and security; and sociodemographic and socioeconomic variables. Ordered probit regressions and an instrumental variable two-stage least squares regression are run.
Findings
The analyses reveal that cognitive schemas play a crucial role in consumer expectations in banking. Individuals with stronger PAS tend to have more positive expectations about bank automation performance compared to employee performance. Financial anxiety and knowledge positively affect bank automation performance expectancy while women, older people, and financially insecure subjects have poor expectations of automated banking systems.
Originality/value
This study extends the understanding of key consumer characteristics that affect bank automation performance expectancy compared to that of bank employees in services delivery in the Italian context. Moreover, it provides useful results for researchers, practitioners, banking institutions, and regulators
