    ABSTRACT OHS implementation is a plan drawn up by employers or workers in the context of preventing the emergence of disasters and diseases due to their work through the introduction and management of factors with potential hazards such as illness or accidents due to work and preventive measures if there are threats that arise. The preparation of the OHS plan aims to reduce costs if there are diseases and accidents due to work that must be issued by the company. In conducting this research, the authors set the formulation of the problem, namely: How is the relationship between the OHS program and the productivity of Carel Firsta Company? And whether the occupational safety and health of workers have an influence on the productivity of workers at. Carel Firsta Company? The method used in this research is observational research by means of a survey. Then this research is descriptive, that is, it provides a detailed description of the relationship between the implementation of the OHS Program and the Productivity of Carel Firsta Company Reviewed Based on Law Number 1 Year 1970 concerning Occupational Safety. Based on the results of research that has been carried out by the author, it can be concluded that: Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) Program at Carel Firsta Company has been implemented effectively, it can be seen that the implementation of the OHS program also has a positive impact on workers, such as feeling safe for workers in carrying out their work and giving workers a feeling of happiness because the company meets their needs, both their health and their safety at work. . Improvement can be seen from the dimensions of work attitudes, skill levels, the relationship between the work environment, productivity management and labor efficiency. Then the author also provides suggestions for workers who are expected to continue to improve their compliance and awareness to be able to work carefully and comply with all regulations

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan memberikan bukti empiris mengenai pengaruh iklim psikologis dan komitmen organisasi pada kinerja karyawan. Objek penelitian adalah Universitas Andalas kondisi pada tahun 2013/2014. Penelatian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antar variabel independen dan dependen tersebut. Data primer pada penelitian ini diperoleh dan dikumpulkan dengan mengirimkan kuesioner kepada para karyawan seluruh bagian Universitas Andalas. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 235 karyawan dengan metode non probability sampling dan quota sampling untuk mewakili tiap bagian dari universitas. Alat analisis yang dugunakan untuk menguji hipotesis yang diajukan adalah dengan menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan bantuan program AMOS18.0. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa dari kedua hipotesis yang diajukan keseluruhannya diterima. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel Independen (Iklim Psikologis dan Komitmen Organisasi) secara siginifikan positif mempengaruhi variabel depanden kinerja karyawan.     PT X is one of the largest mining companies in Indonesia. As a company that continues to grow, the Department of Human Resources (HR) at the company be able to provide all employee information and can support employee performance. HR still uses Microsoft Excel as the presentation of visual information in the performance management system. This will be a problem in the information and evaluation process associated with employees. To help the process of reengineering the system, the company requires a good computerized and integrated system, making information can be given well to all users and the company gets accurate information. In improving the rescue process, data and information are needed from all parts of the department. The author makes a web-based dashboard system in presenting information and for promoting employee performance. This dashboard is used by the Human Resources Department (HRD). The dashboard system is built using the bootstrap framework. With the dashboard system, web-based human resources will make it easier to provide information about employees.     The geographical condition of Singkawang City located in a coastal area provides opportunities for the development of natural potential. One of them is the development of conservation-based coastal ecotourism through mangroves. However, the development of coastal ecotourism also has several problems. One of coastal ecotourism's threats is the hydro-oceanographic process factors that can erode the surface of the beach floor, human activities such as near the coast, taking natural coastal protectors, converting mangroves into massive fish ponds and logging mangroves. However, in Kuala Subdistrict, West Singkawang District, there is a mangrove forest that is developed by the community through POKDARWIS Pesona Kuala Pesisir.                                                      Abstrak Sistem informasi dalam pelayanan surat menyurat merupakan salah satu hal yang sudah menjadi suatu kebutuhan oleh semua instansi pendidikan. Oleh karena berkembang pesatnya teknologi informasi pada jaman sekarang ini menjadikan pekerjaan manusia menjadi lebih mudah dan bisa menghemat lebih banyak waktu. Universitas Dhyana Pura (Undhira) merupakan salah satu instansi pendidikan yang administrasi surat menyurat masih dengan menggunakan sistem pencatatan dalam buku besar, oleh karena itu penulis akan melakukan rancang bangun penelitian ini di Universitas Dhyana Pura dengan menggunakan Framework Laravel untuk mempermudah administrasi surat menyurat. Penulis merancang bangun sistem ini dengan berbasis web, menggunakan metode SDLC atau pendekatan waterfall. Bahasa pemrograman yang penulis gunakan adalah PHP dengan HTML, CSS serta database yang penulis gunakan adalah MySQL. Sistem administrasi surat menyurat ini meliputi beberapa proses yaitu proses persetujuan surat keluar dan surat masuk, proses pendisposisian surat dan proses pendataan surat. Hasil dari sistem ini adalah untuk meminimalisasi waktu yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan persetujuan surat masuk maupun surat keluar, memudahkan dalam proses pendisposisian surat beserta pendataan surat. Kemudahan dalam penggunaan berdasarkan hasil pengujian usability dengan USE Questionnaire membuktikan hasil 82,5% dengan klasifikasi “sangat baikâ€.Kata kunci: USE Questionnaire, Framework Laravel                                                 Abstract One item that has become a need for all academic institutions is the correspondence service information system. In this day and age, information technology is developing quickly, which makes human labor easier and can save more time. One of the educational institutions that still records correspondence using a ledger is Dhyana Pura University (Undhira). In order to make correspondence management easier, the author will design this study at Dhyana Pura University utilizing the Laravel Framework. The waterfall or SDLC methods were used by the author to create this web-based solution. I utilize MySQL as my database and the PHP programming language together with HTML and CSS. The approval procedure for outgoing and receiving letters, the letter disposal process, and the letter data collecting process are just a few of the processes that make up this correspondence administration system. This system outcomes include reducing the amount of time needed to obtain approval for incoming and outgoing letters, streamlining the letter disposal procedure, and providing data collecting for letters. Based on the findings of usability testing using the USE Questionnaire, ease of use was rated as "very good" in 82.5% of cases.Keywords: USE Questionnaire, Laravel Framewor

    ABSTRACTTraditional handicrafts are items of high economic value, therefore many people buy traditional handicraft items and even collect them, Betek is one of the traditional handicraft items which is a characteristic of Bali, more precisely in the Banjar Sega area, Bunutan Village, Abang, Karangasem . Bunutan Village, Abang, Karangasem is a village where the handicrafts of Betek bags are produced which are initially less economically valuable, but after being given a new design touch, both in terms of size and decoration, in the form of ornaments with aesthetic values that are modern and function multipurpose and can be used as women's bags which seems environmentally friendly and has a higher prestige value and is very authentic and has a different artistic power in terms of social aesthetics.In the sales process, the sale of Betek bags is still traditional and there is no technological touch in the form of system design and interface design of computer-based applications, in the current sales process, errors often occur in the process of recording item codes and prices, besides notes Sales notes are also not well managed due to a poor filing system, starting from the sales transaction process, the process of calculating revenue, data collection of goods prices, to inventory data which are still managed manually which is only recorded on paper or books, and sometimes only using estimate. This makes the quality of the information obtained is not optimal, less efficient and of course the possibility of misinformation is quite large.Because of these problems, the author will conduct research in the form of analyzing existing problems, then designing a sales information system model that is in accordance with the situation and conditions and finally designing an application prototype which is an implementation of the system to be built. This research was conducted with the aim of designing a sales information system model and ordering Betek bag crafts, the research design used was the PIECES method approach, with system development tools in the form of flowcharts, context diagrams, DFD, and database design tools proposed in the form of ERD and design input and design prototype output so that in the future this information system model can be a reference for building a sales application that will be used by Betekk bag craftsmen in Banjar Sega, Bunutan Village, Abang, Karangasem.Keywords: Betek, PIECES, prototype, information system.ABSTRAKBarang kerajinan tradisional merupakan barang yang bernilai ekonomis tinggi, oleh karena itu banyak orang yang membeli barang kerajinan tradisional bahkan mengoleksinya, Betek adalah salah satu barang kerajinan tradisional yang merupakan ciri khas dari Bali, lebih tepatnya di daerah Banjar Sega, Desa Bunutan, Abang, Karangasem. Desa Bunutan, Abang, Karangasem merupakan desa tempat memproduksi kerajinan tas betek yang awalnya kurang bernilai ekonomis, namun setelah diberikan sentuhan desain yang baru, baik dari segi ukuran maupun hiasan berupa ornament yang bernilai estetika yang bernuansa modern dan berfungsi multiguna dan bisa digunakan sebagai tas wanita yang terkesan ramah lingkungan dan mempunyai nilai gengsi yang lebih tinggi dan sifatnya sangat authentic serta memiliki daya seni yang berbeda dari segi estetika sosialnya. Dalam proses penjualannya, penjualan tas betek masih tradisional dan belum ada sentuhan teknologi yang berupa perancangan sistem dan perancangan antarmuka dari aplikasi berbasis komputer, dalam proses penjualannya saat ini, seringkali terjadi kesalahan-kesalahan dalam proses pencatatan kode barang dan harga barang, selain itu nota-nota penjualan juga tidak dikelola dengan baik oleh karena sistem pengarsipan yang kurang baik, mulai dari proses transaksi penjualan, proses perhitungan pendapatan, pendataan harga barang, hingga data persediaan barang juga masih dikelola dengan cara manual yang hanya dicatat dikertas atau buku, dan terkadang hanya menggunakan perkiraan. Hal ini membuat kualitas informasi yang didapatkan tidak maksimal, kurang efisien dan tentunya kemungkinan terjadinya kesalahan informasi cukup besar. Oleh karena permasalahan tersebut, penulis akan melakukan penelitian yang berupa analisa permasalahan yang ada, kemudian merancang sebuah model sistem informasi penjualan yang sesuai dengan situasi dan kondisi dan terakhir adalah merancang prototype aplikasi yang merupakan implementasi dari sistem yang akan dibangun. Penelitian ini dilakukan yang bertujuan untuk mendesain sebuah model sistem informasi penjualan dan pemesanan kerajinan tas betek, desain penelitian yang digunakan yaitu dengan pendekatan metode PIECES, dengan alat bantu pengembangan sistem berupa flowchart, diagram konteks, DFD, dan alat perancangan database yang diusulkan berupa ERD serta perancangan input dan prototype perancangan outputnya sehingga kedepannya model sistem informasi ini dapat menjadi referensi untuk membangun sebuah aplikasi penjualan yang akan digunakan oleh para pengrajin tas Betekk di Banjar Sega, Desa Bunutan, Abang, Karangasem.Kata kunci : Betek, PIECES, prototype, sistem informas

    Optimizing the concrete load-bearing structure of high-rise buildings: Combining the ground structure method with a recursive resizing algorithm on a case study

    Theshortage in housing and office spaces, combined with the desire of people tolive in densely populated cities results in a lack of space. A proposedsolution can be found in the usage of high-rise buildings. Nowadays there ismore awareness for the environment, thus this research tries to reduce theenvironmental impact of a high-rise building by optimizing the material used inload-bearing structures. This research aims to give designers and engineersmore insight into the added value of structural optimization; in particular forthe material usage in the load-bearing structure of high-rise buildings. Theresearch objective is formulated as follows: What is the optimal topology for a reinforced concrete load-bearingstructure, situated at the perimeter of a high-rise building when optimizingthe material use?  A building isclassified as high-rise building when its roof is 70 m or more above groundlevel and accommodates work and/or living space. In literature the distinctionis made between three sorts of optimization: size, shape and topologyoptimization. Topology optimization has the most freedom, therefore it is morelikely to find a novel structure which minimizes the material use as much aspossible. In specific the Ground Structure Method (GSM) is used. The initialground structure is constructed by creating members between all nodes (fullconnectivity) which are located in the design space. The cross-sectional areasof the bars are the design variables in the optimization. An option is that thevariables turn to zero, thus elements are deleted resulting in less material.The conventional GSM starts with the full connectivity as initial groundstructure, deletes elements and calculates the new load distribution until athreshold is reached. In the end the load-bearing structure will consist ofcolumns, braces and beams, which are located at the perimeter of the floorplan. Literature indicates that (high-rise) buildings which are mainly loadedby horizontal loads would be optimal if they contain arches in the load-bearingstructure, or resemble the so-called Michell truss. However, the influence ofthe vertical load is often not taken into account, therefore this isinvestigated with the help of a parametric study. To compare the results withreality, a case study (Boston & Seattle, Rotterdam) is investigated.   The core of the research is the furtherdevelopment of the optimization code, based on the GSM, written by He et al.,where multiple load cases and demands for the material strengths are implemented.In contrast to deleting elements, the code uses an adaptive ‘member adding’scheme, which is firstly proposed by Gilbert and Tyas. This scheme solvesproblems faster than the conventional GSM, up to 8 times, and is able to solvelarge problems. This code is extended during this research with new functionswhich implement demands for fire, second-order, buildability, flexural bucklingand stiffness. Also it is possible to add self-weight to the optimization. Thestiffness is implemented by adding a constraint to the displacement of the topof the building, wherefore a recursive resizing algorithm is written based onthe article of Chan. Thus the extended code exists of two optimizations, firsta strength optimization and afterwards a stiffness optimization. The code iswritten in Python and for the purpose of post-processing exporting the data toExcel and Abaqus is possible.  With thehelp of the extended code, two design spaces are investigated. One design spaceis smaller, such that the computational time is low and many variations can beexamined during the parametric study on the total vertical to total horizontalload ratio (v/h-ratio). The other is based on a case study for comparison witha realistic situation. The verification of the code shows that the extrafunctions work properly for the investigated problems. If the functionsconcerning the stiffness optimization, inclusion of self-weight, fire,buildability and second-order are used, the extended code becomes unstable andthe computation time increases enormously when optimizing the case study.Therefore it is chosen not to include during obtaining the results. The resultsof the parametric study shows an expected pattern for the load-bearingstructure, for a v/h-ratio below 4. The pattern consist of arches, originatingfrom the Michell truss. The optimization of the case study, subjected to onerealistic load combination, showed no clear pattern for the load-bearingstructure. Post-processing steps, based on engineering judgement, are taken toclarify the solutions, which showed that the columns above the supports shouldbe large in comparison to the other elements and that the arches are the mostoptimal structure. Therefore an “optimized” load-bearing structure consistingof arches is proposed. The analysis of the “optimized” load-bearing structureshows us that most of the elements meet the strength requirements. To find theoptimal solution an iterative process would be needed, because increasing thecross-section of an element will decrease the stress but increase thestiffness, thus attracting more load.   Thedifference between the optimized load-bearing structure and the originalload-bearing structure of the case study is that the optimized uses archesinstead of (punched) structural walls and uses less material (±3%). From thepost-processing of the results it is concluded that increasing the strengthratio (compression to tensile) to 1.0, decreasing the total v/h-ratio orignoring the rigid-diaphragm working of the floor help clarify the results ofthe optimization.   This research extendsthe current literature with extra insights in the use of the Ground StructureMethod in an optimization code. Also, it confirms that the arches (originatingfrom Michel Truss) is an efficient manner to transfer the loads to thesupports. However, more research in the influence of the supports, the designspace and the material type on the clearness of the optimal solution is needed.  The advice for designers and engineersis to see what the possibilities are for arches to use in their load-bearingstructure, because these are efficient in transferring the loads so materialcan be saved. The current version of the code needs to be made more userfriendly, stabler and faster before it is recommended to be used by designersand engineers.
