Analysis of the temporal distribution of passenger traffic in road transport for the regional road network
Get PDFThe indicators of passenger traffic on road transport for the regional transport network, obtained on the basis of data from online ride-sharing services, are considered in the article. The features and patterns of daily fluctuations in passenger traffic are analyzed. Seasonal and cyclical fluctuations in passenger traffic volumes are modeled using harmonic analysis methods. All necessary statistical procedures are used to identify and evaluate the parameters of the model and to verify its adequacy and accuracy. Short-term forecasts and conclusions of the study are made based on the results obtained. © 2022 Author(s)
Modeling the dynamics of passenger traffic in road transport for the regional road network
Get PDFProblems of modeling seasonality in the study of the temporal distribution of passenger traffic in road transport according to the daily data on the example of the Sverdlovsk region for the period February-November 2021 are considered in the article. The use of a statistical approach based on adaptive models made it possible to obtain an adequate model with good statistical and predictive properties. Algorithms for constructing the Holt-Winters model and its software implementation in Python are considered. The indicators studied in the work had a number of features that were taken into account in the modeling. Point and interval estimates of the forecast of passenger traffic for December 2021 were found. © 2023 Author(s)

No full textIncludes bibliography.Several reasons motivated me to choose the subject: THEMATICS ANALYSIS OF NGEMENA. Ngemena is a novel by Paul Lomami Tchibamba, published at first in 1960. However, in comparing all the literatures of the time, Ngemena is one of the books of the 1960, which was awaiting a place in the history of literature. It does not hide its intentions to seek a place in francophone literature of liberation struggle. It also claims to question the mission of civilization. The author is trying to relate events that have taken place in the Africa continent, particularly in Congo (DRC). He gives a concise and precise picture to show what happened from 1950 to 1960 under Belgian rule. This study consists of an analysis of the themes present in the book of Paul Lomami Tchibamba: Ngemena. This analysis allows us to assess and understand some social and political problems during the colonialist occupation in Congo (DRC). The novel relates the story of Paulo. In the boat in which he travels, there were separated compartments according to race, meaning that, Black and White people were allocated compartments that were far from each other. In some instances segregation would seem to be circumvented by assimilation that is when a Black person changes his/her behavior and imitates White behavior. But Tchibamba shows that by loosing his/her roots, this Black person becomes a real slave. During the same period, large number of Western missionaries arrived on the African continent. It was said that this period heralded the birth of Christian faith. The Black people adopted Christian principles, and rejected their culture and traditions. In this way, they found it easier to accept the presence of White people. This invariably led to their dissociation from their roots. There was also the Exploitation of a Black by a Black: This form of exploitation took place in families where some members adopted the White culture and started treating their fellow Black brothers and sisters as inferior to them. These people become more dangerous to their Black folks. The story told by Paul Lomami T. gives a full picture of things as they were and can be analyzed follows: I will explore the history of colonialism by reading relevant literatures; I will attempt to explore all the themes of the novel in order to come to come to an understand of the ideas of the author. My aim is not to advance a comprehensive condemnation of colonization, nor to be apologetic about it. The objective is: reading, understanding, interpreting, and finally comparing the situation as it was before and after colonization
A mode matching analysis of rectangular dielectric discontinuities in metal waveguides applicable to characterisation of liquids
No full textIn this paper we present a generalised scattering matrix approach using mode matching to analyse a generic case of a rectangular dielectric sample and sample holder partially filling a metal waveguide; as encountered in liquid measurements. The results for both samples having real and complex permittivity values, for varying sample thickness are presented and compared to that obtained by a commercial finite element method software

Na procura de comprender e interpretar esta realidade o autor realiza unha viaxe xenealóxica e histórica sobre a presenza escolar nos contornos rurais de Galicia, partindo das décadas finais do século XIX, a través do tempo de certa alborada dos pasados anos vinte-trinta e do posterior franquismo, achegándose ao presente, que sitúa entre o colapso e a renovación, que significa dignificación das contornas humanas e das escolas rurais, a condición de acometer o conxunto de iniciativas políticas, económicas e culturais que aquí se indican.http://dx.doi.org/10.15304/ie.24.2154The schools in the rural surroundings of Galicia have a complex present, and a difficult although possible horizon. In the attempt to comprehend and interpret this reality, the author takes a genealogical and historical trip through the school presence in the rural surroundings of Galicia. Evaluation of origin-destination matrices based on analysis of data on transport passenger flows
Get PDFThe problem of reconstructing the origin-destination matrix for transport following fixed routes is studied. Estimates are based on statistics on passengers entering and leaving at each stop. Various models for estimating of origin-destination matrices are analyzed, including the entropy model and the generalized gravitational model. The properties of correspondences of duplicating and complementary routes are taken into account for comparing the models. © 2021 Author(s)

Em seguida, sintetiza brevemente a evolu- ção do pensamento estruturalista ao longo das sete décadas de sua existência.================ABSTRACT: The article combines different texts in which his author has been introducing books on readings on ECLAC’s (CEPAL’s) economic thought, which he has been organizing since 1998. It first presents the methodological and analytical elements that have been central to the Latin American structuralist theoretical construct, both in the structuralist period (1949-1990) and in the neostructuralist one (as from 1990). A contribuição de David Kupfer para a análise da política de inovação brasileira nos anos 2000
Get PDFThe main features of the Brazilian industrialization process and its consequences, with the external debt crisis in the 1990s and the changes brought by economic liberalization in the same decade, were themes intensely debated by David Kupfer throughout his fruitful academic career. More recently, when the deindustrialization process of the Brazilian economy advanced, Kupfer introduced the term “Brazilian industrial disease” to refer to the chronic crisis that impacted Brazilian industry over the last 40 years. In this discussion, one of the recurrent themes was the insufficiency of the science, technology, and innovation (S,T&I) policy implemented in the country in the 2000s to leverage the industrial development. This is the object of this article, when discussing the most recent results brought by the Innovation Survey (Pintec) in the light of Kupfer’s contributions. The decline of the S,T&I policy is made explicit in the latest edition of Pintec, in 2017, confirming aspects anticipated by the author in several works.As principais características do processo de industrialização brasileiro e seus desdobramentos, com a crise da dívida externa nos anos 1990 e as mudanças trazidas pela liberalização econômica nessa mesma década, foram temas intensamente debatidos por David Kupfer ao longo de sua profícua carreira acadêmica. Mais recentemente, quando avança o processo de desindustrialização da economia brasileira, Kupfer introduziu o termo “doença industrial brasileira” para se referir à crise crônica que se abateu sobre a indústria nos últimos quarenta anos. Nessa discussão, um dos temas recorrentes foi o da insuficiência da política de ciência, tecnologia e inovação (C,T&I) implementada no país nos anos 2000 para alavancar o desenvolvimento industrial. Esse é o objeto deste artigo, ao discutir os resultados mais recentes trazidos pela Pesquisa de Inovação (Pintec) à luz das contribuições de Kupfer. O declínio da política de C,T&I se explicita na última edição da Pintec, em 2017, confirmando aspectos antecipados pelo autor em diversos trabalhos
