    House Car Parking Lot or the term used in construction, Driveway is the place to park vehicles in front of the main door and behind the house gate safely. This is the topic among the overall construction project that the author focused on for his report. This report is to make sure the author fulfills the requirements of the current semester's assignment and to give the output or as a result of his practical training during the three months span. This report is also important as a proof that the author understands completely about the course he is currently going through. The main objective of this report is to observe and determine the method, cost, time, workmanship, types of test used for Driveways, and problems that occurred during the progress and provides solutions. Mainly, for what the author was doing during the construction of the driveway was pin-pointing the position of driveway perimeter, levelling drop point, and laying the layers of the driveway. Lastly, the most important thing for this particular work is accuracy, for it is crucial to make sure the data collected, the input and output data transferring, and markings are accurate and precise so it will not drag and bring problems to the upcoming procedure ahead of the driveway construction. Early mistakes may result in repairs, maintenance, defects, failures, or even damages in the future which will bring more complex issues in variety of kind

    Real-time peak flow prediction based on signal matching

    Real-time peak flow prediction under heavy precipitation is critically important for flood emergency evacuation planning and management. In the case of emergency evacuation, every second matters as a slightly longer lead time could save more lives and reduce the associated social, economic, and health impacts. Here, we present a model (named SIGMA) based on the principle of signal matching to facilitate real-time peak flow prediction at sub-hourly scales (e.g., minutes to seconds). The SIGMA model divides the target watershed into small zones and the heavy precipitation falling into each zone is collected into a small water tank. As the water tank moves downstream and arrives in the watershed outlet, it will discharge the collected precipitation and generate a small single-pulse streamflow signal. By combining all small signals coming from all zones within the watershed, we will be able to generate a synthesized peak flow signal. The proposed model is applied to simulate the peak flow events observed in a real-world watershed to verify its effectiveness in real-time flood prediction. The results suggest that the presented model can reasonably predict three key aspects of a peak flow event, including the peak flow rate, the arrival time of peak flow, and the duration of the peak flow event. The proposed model is demonstrated to be effective in real-time flood prediction and can be used to support flood emergency evacuation planning and management

    Determinants of Islamic Bank Share Price Fluctuation During the Covid 19 Pandemic: The Case of BTPN Syariah Bank Shares

    Abstract. The Covid-19 pandemic has caused a decline in the performance of the national economy. However, the share price of Islamic banks, especially the BTPN Syariah Bank (BTPS), has continued to grow. This study aims to identify and evaluate the variables affecting BTPS stock price fluctuation, using The Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). The results show that in the short term, only the Jakarta Composite Index variable had a significant effect on the stock price of BTPS. While in the long term, the variables of Price to Book Value (PBV), Trading Volume Activity (TVA), GDP, Bank Indonesia (BI) Reference Interest Rate, and the Jakarta Composite Index had a significant effect on BTPS stock price. Based on the Impulse Response Function (IRF) analysis, the stock price of BTPS responded negatively to shocks in GDP, TVA, and the exchange rate. Meanwhile, the shocks of Earning Per Share, PBV, BI Reference Interest Rate, and the Jakarta Composite Index were responded positively by BTPS share price. Based on the Forecast Error Variance Decomposition analysis, PBV gave the highest contribution in explaining the diversity of BTPS stock prices fluctuation.Keywords: Covid-19, BTPS Shares, VECM, Internal Factors, External FactorsAbstrak. Pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan penurunan perekonomian nasional. Namun, harga saham bank syariah, khususnya saham PT. Bank BTPN Syariah (BTPS) tetap tumbuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang memengaruhi perubahan harga saham BTPS, dengan metode Vector Error Correction Model (VECM). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dalam jangka pendek, hanya variabel Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap harga saham BTPS. Sementara pada jangka panjang, variabel Price to Book Value (PBV), Trading Volume Activity (TVA), PDB, Suku Bunga Acuan Bank Indonesia (BI), dan Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap harga saham BTPS.  Berdasarkan analisis Impulse Response Function (IRF), harga saham BTPS merespon negatif adanya guncangan PDB, TVA, dan nilai tukar. Sementara guncangan Earning Per Share, PBV, Suku Bunga Acuan BI, dan Indeks Harga Saham Gabungan direspon positif oleh harga Saham BTPS. Berdasarkan analisis Forecast Error Variance Decomposition, PBV memberikan kontribusi tertinggi dalam menjelaskan keragaman perubahan harga saham BTPS.Kata kunci: Covid-19, Saham BTPS, VECM, Faktor Internal, Faktor Eksterna

Turbocharger adalah pesawat bantu yang digerakkan oleh gas buang dari auxiliary diesel engine yang berfungsi untuk memompa udara yang digunakan untuk pembilasan dan pembakaran di dalam silinder. Kinerja auxiliary diesel engine ditunjang oleh beberapa komponen penunjang, salah satunya yaitu turbocharger. Kerusakan pada turbocharger akan mengganggu auxiliary diesel engine sehingga kinerjanya menjadi kurang optimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab kerusakan turbocharger pada auxiliary diesel engine, dampak yang ditimbulkan dari kerusakan turbocharger pada auxiliary diesel engine dan upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi kerusakan turbocharger pada auxiliary diesel engine di MV. Sri Wandari Indah. Jenis metode penelitian yang penulis gunakan dalam penyusunan skripsi ini adalah deskriptif kualitaf dengan menggunakan pendekatan fishbone dan SHEL untuk mempermudah dalam teknik analisis data. Metode pengumpulan data yang penulis lakukan adalah dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi untuk memperkuat dalam analisis data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah penulis lakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa faktor penyebab kerusakan turbocharger pada auxiliary diesel engine di MV. Sri Wandari Indah adalah, 1) Terjadinya surging pada turbocharger. 2) Ketidaksesuaian Plan Maintenance System (PMS) yang dilakukan. Dampak yang ditimbulkan adalah 1) Kinerja auxiliary diesel engine terganggu. 2) Terganggunya proses olah gerak pada kapal 3) Dapat menyebabkan kerusakan pada auxiliary diesel engine. Damage to the turbocharger will disrupt the auxiliary diesel engine so that its performance is less than optimal. . The purpose of this study was to determine the factors causing the effect from turbocharger damage on the performance of auxiliary diesel engine, the impact cause of the effect from turbocharger damage on the performance of auxiliary diesel engine and the efforts made to prevent the factors causing the effect from turbocharger damage on the performance of auxiliary diesel engine in MV. The type of research method that the author uses in the preparation of this thesis is descriptive qualitative using a fishbone and SHEL approach to simplify data analysis techniques. The method of collecting data that the authors do is by observation, interview and study documentation to strengthen the data analysis.     Abstract: Professional development of faculty members is an emerging concept in developing countries. It has been embraced quickly in developed nations unlike developing and under developing nations. The major purpose of this paper is to explore various perceived issues and challenges to professional development of faculty members and to provide suggestions to improve such emerging problems. This paper provides suggestions and recommendations for the universities where professional development practices have not yet started or have been started but facing some problems. Author has explored various perceived issues and challenges highlighted by prior studies that have further served as basis to design structured questionnaire and semi-structured interview questions for this study. Four renowned universities of Punjab were selected from which sample of 108 respondents were chosen for data collection. Data has been analyzed by taking simple means and standard deviations through SPSS. The findings of this paper reveal that the issue that is most alarming and has got lowest mean score is granting rewards and incentives and level of satisfaction of faculty members to professional development programs. Author has provided various recommendations as to conduct proper need assessment before training, to properly plan quality training programs and take input of trainees as well, to increase grants and funds for training, to create positive working environment for teachers, to train the trainers, to provide financial and non financial benefits to trainees and to properly scheduling training programs. This study could be beneficial for policy makers, managers and administrators of universities who could device better policies and practices to promote quality teaching in institutes.
