Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia de Produção.A ocupação e uso da terra no entorno de unidades de conservação podem ser conflitantes com a manutenção da diversidade biológica da área protegida. As populações residentes nestas áreas deveriam praticar atividades que garantam a integridade dos recursos que a unidade objetiva proteger e assegurem condições e meios necessários para a satisfação de suas necessidades materiais, sociais e culturais. O Rhamdia quelen, um peixe que ocorre desde o México até o centro da Argentina, conhecido no sul do Brasil como jundiá, é uma espécie que vem despertando grande interesse por parte de produtores de peixes desta região. Os resultados de reprodução, larvicultura, alevinagem e desenvolvimento desta espécie autóctone da região de Paulo Lopes são analisados neste trabalho para verificar seu potencial zootécnico. A exploração sustentável de uma espécie local (autóctone) contribui para a preservação do meio ambiente, porém só é possível se a espécie apresentar características de reprodução e desenvolvimento próprias para o cultivo. Os dados mostraram que o jundiá da região apresenta características zootécnicas para a sua incorporação em um sistema de produção das comunidades locais. A produção de uma espécie de peixe autóctone é proposta como base para um modelo de desenvolvimento compatível com a conservação dos recursos naturais e melhoria da qualidade de vida de agricultores familiares residentes na área de entorno do Parque Estadual da Serra do Tabuleiro em Paulo Lopes - SC
Jurisprudence under the perspective of the new media and its effect on the communication of law
No full textDespite the law knowledge presumption, Jurisprudence has not always considered the effects introduced by the communication of law in the transition from the print to the electric revolution, using here concepts and ideas of McLuhan´s theory.
The use of Internet by Brazilian Courts (on line transmission of trials, the digital process, transformation of courts in source of news on what concerns their decisions) is an interesting example of how the new medium interferes in the substance of the message of law, since the movement of the messages must be considered to understand the epistemological domain of law. New elements are introduced by the new media and interact with the old meanings, concepts and processes of law and of the old media and can themselves bring new conflicts that are relevant to the comprehension of the complete and real dynamics of Law

Brazilian Video Art in the Early Days: from Experimental Video to Mainstream Television
No full textThis article examines Brazilian video art in its early days, between 1973 and the end of the 1980s. This choice of topic is due to the historic importance of these artists: it covers the first experimental video productions in Brazil until their relative vulgarisation and assimilation by the mass media, especially television. I intend to discuss how Brazilian video art – which initially sought, inspired by ideological and technical issues, to disengage from the language of commercial media – became an element of aesthetic renewal in mainstream TV.
