    Tanaman kayu putih, memiliki tata nama latin Melaleuca cajuputatau Melaluca leucadendra,. Merupakan tanaman yang tangguh, bisa tumbuh di lahan tandus dan tahan panas (Deptan, 2015). Kandungan senyawa aktif dalam minyak kayu putih diantaranya adalah sineol 44-45%, terpineol, aldehyd valerat, butirat, benzoat, L pinen dan limonen. Minyak atsiri yang terkandung didalamnya telah terbukti sebagai peluruh gas (karminative) untuk mengurangi mual, muntah dan pusing serta flu (analgetika) (Depkes, 1979). Minyak kayu  putih  akan diisolasi dari daun kayu putih  melalui destilasi uap. Distilasi (penyulingan) adalah proses pemisahan komponen dari suatu campuran yang berupa larutan cair-cair dimana karakteristik dari campuran tersebut adalah mampu-campur dan mudah menguap, selain itu komponen-komponen tersebut mempunyai perbedaan tekanan uap dan hasil dari pemisahannya menjadi komponen-komponennya atau kelompok-kelompok komponen. Karena adanya perbedaan tekanan uap, maka dapat dikatakan pula proses penyulingan merupakan proses pemisahan komponen-komponennya berdasarkan perbedaan titik didihnya (Munthana et al, 2009). Mitra adalah SMK Kesehatan Donohudan dan SMK Kesehatan Mandala Bhakti Surakarta. SMK Kesehatan Mandala Bhakti Surakarta berdiri sejak tahun 2014 dengan SK Pendirian nomor020/YMBS/IV/2014, dibawah yayasan Mandala Bhakti.SMK Mandala Bhakti Surakarta, memiliki satu bidang jurusan  Farmasi.     Red spinach leaves (Amarantus gangeticus Hort) is one of plant that contain phenolic compound which has benefit for human. The aim of this study was to determine total phenolic content on n-hexane, ethyl acetate, and water fractions of ethanolic extract of red spinach by Folin-Ciocalteu. Red spinach leaves were macerated by ethanol 70%, than were fractionated by of  n-hexane, ethyl acetate, and water. Extract and fractions were analyzed the total phenolic content by Folin-Ciocalteu method.  The study showed that total phenolic content of red spinach were (4,05%±0,175) GAE for ethanolic extract; (2,15%±0,045) GAE for n-hexane fraction, (11,03%±0,290) GAE for ethyl acetate fraction; (4,4%±0,180) GAE for water fraction.Daun bayam merah (Amarantus gangeticus Hort) merupakan salah satu tumbuhan yang mengandung senyawa fenol yang memiliki manfaat sangat besar bagi manusia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kadar fenolik total yang terkandung di dalam fraksi n-heksana, etil asetat, air, dan ekstrak etanolik pada daun bayam merah. Daun bayam merah diekstraksi secara maserasi dengan etanol 70%, kemudian difraksinasi dengan n-heksana, etil asetat, dan air. Ekstrak dan fraksi kemudian dianalisis kadar fenolik totalnya menggunakan metode Folin-Ciocalteau. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kadar fenolik setara dengan asam galat pada ekstrak etanolik 4,05%± 0,175; fraksi n-heksana 2,15%±0,045; etil asetat 11,03%±0,290; dan air 4,4%±0,180 pada daun bayam merah (Amarantus gangeticus Hort)

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Pengaruh Cairan Penyari terhadap Rendemen dan Kadar Tanin Ekstrak Daun Jambu Biji (Psidium guajava L.)

    The leaves of guava (Psidium guajava L.) has been used and produced by industrial as an antidiarrheal. Active substances that act as an antidiarrheal in the leaves of guava are the tannins. Tannins are phenolic compounds that are soluble in water, ethanol or water-ethanol mixture. This study aims to determine the influence of solvent on yield and tannins content in the guava leaf extract and to determine the most optimal solvent for the manufacture of guava leaf extract with the maximum tannins content. The research was conducted by extracting the leaves of guava by maceration with ethanol 50%, 70%, 90%. Viscous extract obtained is then analyzed yield and tannins content. Quantitative analysis of tannins performed by permanganometry titration method. In this research shows that qualitatively the ethanol extract of guava leaves contain tannins. The results showed that solvent affect the yield and tannins content in the guava leaves extract. The yield of extract for 50%, 70%, 90% ethanolic extracts were 22,07%; 31,87%; 25,13%. Tannins content in the 50%, 70%, 90% ethanolic extract were 23,37%; 14,28%; 10,96%. The most optimal solvent for the manufacture of guava leaf extract with the highest tannin content was ethanol 50%.Daun jambu biji (Psidium guajava L.) telah digunakan masyarakat dan diproduksi oleh industri sebagai antidiare. Zat aktif yang berperan sebagai antidiare dalam daun jambu biji adalah tanin. Tanin merupakan senyawa fenol yang larut dalam air, etanol atau campuran air-etanol. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh cairan penyari terhadap rendemen dan kadar tanin dalam ekstrak pada daun jambu biji dan untuk mengetahui cairan penyari yang paling optimal untuk pembuatan ekstrak daun jambu biji dengan kadar tanin yang paling maksimal. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengekstraksi daun jambu biji (Psidium guajava L.) secara maserasi dengan cairan penyari etanol 50%, 70%, 90%. Ekstrak kental yang diperoleh kemudian dihitung rendemennya dan dianalisis kandungan taninnya. Analisis kuantitatif tanin dilakukan dengan metode titrasi permanganometri. Pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara kualitatif ekstrak etanol daun jambu biji mengandung tanin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa cairan penyari mempengaruhi rendemen dan kadar tanin ekstrak daun jambu biji. Rendemen ekstrak untuk masing-masing ekstrak etanol 50%, 70%, 90% adalah 22,07%; 31,87%; 25,13%. Kadar tanin dalam ekstrak yang diperoleh dari masingmasing ekstrak etanol 50%, 70%, 90% adalah 23,37%; 14,28%; 10,96%. Cairan penyari yang paling optimal untuk pembuatan ekstrak daun jambu biji dengan kadar tanin paling banyak adalah etanol 50%

    Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods
