„Wir sind immer die Reichen“. Umgang mit den eigenen Privilegien bei Missionarinnen in Armutsregionen
Get PDFIn der vorliegenden Arbeit wird der Frage nachgegangen, wie ein guter Umgang mit
den eigenen Privilegien und der Armut der Mitmenschen in einem missionarischen
Kontext aussehen kann. Ziel dieser Ausarbeitung soll sein, zukünftigen Mitarbeitern
in einem missionarischen Dienst Strategien und Hinweise an die Hand zu geben, mit
denen sie ihre Privilegien mit der Armut der Einheimischen im Einsatzland
vereinbaren und einen guten Umgang damit finden können. Die Arbeit soll dazu
beitragen, Herausforderungen eines missionarischen Einsatzes zu bewältigen und den
Einstieg in eine solche Arbeit zu erleichtern.
Zunächst wird anhand einer Literarturrecherche untersucht, wie sich Armut in der
afrikanischen Mehrheitswelt äußert, in welchem Verhältnis Mission und Besitz stehen
und welche Herausforderungen ein missionarischer Dienst aufweisen kann. Außerdem
werden erste Ideen zu möglichen Hilfen angeführt. In einem zweiten Teil werden die
Ergebnisse von drei Experteninterviews ausgewertet und mit den Thesen verglichen,
die im Literaturteil herausgearbeitet wurden.
In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird festgestellt, dass Armut nicht nur materiell, sondern
auch auf zwischenmenschlicher Ebene vorhanden ist und dass die Betroffenen in einer
Macht- und Hoffnungslosigkeit gehalten werden. Außerdem weist die privilegierte
Stellung, die Missionare aufgrund ihres Wohlstandes und ihres Äußeren innehaben,
sowohl Hindernisse als auch Chancen in der missionarischen Arbeit auf. Des Weiteren
sind Missionare mit der Frage nach einem guten Umgang mit ihren Privilegien sehr
herausgefordert und kämpfen vermehrt mit Schuldgefühlen oder der Gefahr,
ausgenutzt und hintergangen zu werden.
Um diesen Herausforderungen zu begegnen,
werden zum Schluss aus den Aussagen der Befragten hilfreiche Strategien aufgelistet.
Diese betreffen einen großzügigen und verantwortungsvollen Umgang mit den
eigenen Ressourcen, Verhaltensmuster auf spiritueller und kultureller Ebene, sowie
Erfahrungsaustausch, Seelsorgeangebote und persönliche Ausgleichsmöglichkeiten.This paper examines the question of how a good approach to one's own privileges and the poverty of fellow human beings in a missionary context. The aim of this paper is to provide future employees missionary ministry with strategies and tips on how they can manage their with which they can reconcile their privileges with the poverty of the locals in the and find a good way of dealing with it. The work is intended to help to overcome the challenges of a missionary assignment and to make it easier to facilitate entry into such work.
Firstly, literature research is used to analyse how poverty is expressed in the majority African majority world, the relationship between mission and property and the challenges
and what challenges a missionary service can present. In addition initial ideas for possible aid are presented. In a second part, the the results of three expert interviews are analysed and compared with the theses theses identified in the literature section.
In this study, it is established that poverty is not only material, but also interpersonal also exists on an interpersonal level and that those affected are kept in a state of are kept in a state of powerlessness and hopelessness. Furthermore, the privileged position that missionaries hold due to their wealth and appearance,

Get PDFDie Prävention von sexuellem Missbrauch ist ein immer wichtigeres Thema im
Bereich von Pädagogik und Sozialer Arbeit. Da die Opfer von sexuellem Missbrauch
meist ein geringes Selbstwertgefühl besitzen und nach Anerkennung anderer suchen,
ist es notwendig, Präventionsangebote auf das Erlernen von Selbstakzeptanz und
Widerstandskraft auszurichten.
Das Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit ist es, Elemente der Rational-Emotiven
Verhaltenstherapie, wie Selbstakzeptanz oder das Ausdrücken der eigenen Gefühle,
für Präventionsprogramme von sexuellem Missbrauch in der Schulsozialarbeit
anwendbar zu machen. Dabei wird folgende Forschungsfrage gestellt: Inwiefern
können Grundannahmen und methodische Elemente der Rational-Emotiven
Verhaltenstherapie gewinnbringend für die Prävention sexuellen Missbrauchs in der
Schulsozialarbeit fruchtbar gemacht werden?
Um diese Frage zu beantworten, wurden die Ergebnisse aus verschiedener Literatur
der Themengebiete der Prävention des sexuellen Missbrauchs, der Rational-
Emotiven Verhaltenstherapie und der Schulsozialarbeit miteinander verknüpft.
Die Untersuchung zeigte, dass das Grundprinzip der Rational-Emotiven
Verhaltenstherapie sowie einzelne methodische Elemente für die Prävention von
sexuellem Missbrauch hilfreich sein können. Es wurde deutlich, dass die
Schulsozialarbeit ein sehr passendes Handlungsfeld für die Umsetzung von
Präventionsprogrammen gegen sexuellen Missbrauch ist und diese Programme
anhand von Elementen der Rational-Emotiven Verhaltenstherapie gestaltet werden
können.
Aus diesem Grund ist es empfehlenswert, Präventionsprogramme mit Elementen der
Rational-Emotiven Verhaltenstherapie zu entwickeln und in der Schulsozialarbeit
einzusetzen, um dadurch sexuellen Missbrauch vorzubeugen.The prevention of sexual abuse is an increasingly important topic in the field of

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
