    The speech of president represents his manivestation about how to solve problems faced by the state. President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) as the president of developing country often talks about economic and political problems in his speech. This thesis explores the speech of President SBY about the increasing price of fuel oil in 2012 and 2013. The purposes of this research are 1) to describe the text used by SBY in his speech about economic problem in Indonesia, 2) to find out interpersonal meaning in the text, 3) to find how SBY uses appraisal devices to present his ideology. This research uses appraisal theory by Martin and Rose (2003) to find interpersonal meaning. The writer uses critical discourse analysis approach proposed by Teun Van Dijk (2006) which focuses on semantic-macro strategy to find ideology used by SBY. The sources of data are seven texts of SBY’s speech about the increasing price of fuel oil. Content analysis is employed by investigating every clause in the text. The result of this analysis showed that SBY uses appraisal devices equilibrate. SBY also uses semantic macro strategy to make positive self representation and negative other representation. Ideology reflected from SBY’s speech are 1) Sharing of power among coalition parties, 2) SBY’s strategy to maintain his power, 3) SBY uses capital economy system to decide the price of fuel oil.     Semantic Field of Stres and Depression on Psychologycal Korean Drama

    Korean dramas with the psychological genre are very popular nowadays. Through this psychological Korean drama genre, people begin to get to know some psychological terms, such as stress and depression. Unfortunately, there are many people who have not been able to interpret these two terms correctly.  The aims of this study are to find out how the words stress and depressions influence the audience of psychological Korean dramas and to know the difference of semantic field between the word stress and depression. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The steps taken are (1) data collection with interviews, surveys through questionnaires, and readings text in psychological Korean dramas genre; (2) see the relevance between the data available and the semantic field theory; (3) and draw conclusions from the results of the research. This study uses semantic studies by looking at semantic field of the words stress and depression in psychological Korean dramas and how these words influence the audience. The semantic field is part of semantic system which is looking at the meaning of lexical elements that relate to spoken language used in reality. The subject of this study is a psychology Korean drama and psychology Korean drama audience. The results of this study showed that some respondents who watched the Korean drama misinterpret the meaning of stress and depression. Semantic field of the term stress and depression is set semantic field. Set semantic field refers to paradigmatic relationships because words or elements are in the same set and can replace each other. These two words are still in the same set, namely psychic problems.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi strategi employer branding perusahaan PT Fliptech Lentera Inspirasi Pertiwi (Flip) dalam upaya meningkatkan daya tarik terhadap talenta-talenta berkualitas yang menjadi target perusahaan melalui berbagai media. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini secara komprehensif menguraikan perjalanan yang telah ditempuh oleh Flip dalam merancang dan menjalankan strategi branding perusahaan. MSDM Flip telah memberikan perhatian khusus pada faktor kesesuaian budaya perusahaan (culture fit), serta melakukan penelitian mendalam terhadap calon talenta potensial. Konsep Employee Value Proposition (EVP) menjadi landasan dalam menggambarkan nilai-nilai inti perusahaan, seperti fairness, customer love, integrity, introspective, dan ownership. EVP digunakan untuk menarik individu yang sejalan dengan nilai-nilai ini melalui pesan komunikasi yang konsisten. Penggunaan LinkedIn sebagai media komunikasi memiliki peran vital dalam membentuk persepsi Flip sebagai tempat kerja menarik dan membangun hubungan awal dengan calon talenta. Pendekatan yang berkelanjutan menjadi pilar utama dalam pendekatan Flip, yang tercermin dalam evaluasi berkala serta penyempurnaan konsep EVP. Kesuksesan yang telah dicapai oleh Flip dalam menerapkan pendekatan terintegrasi ini mencerminkan komitmen perusahaan terhadap trend media dan konsistensi dalam strategi employer branding yang dimiliki. Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis implementasi strategi employer branding oleh Flip, untuk membangun citra menarik di pasar tenaga kerja fintech melalui media sosial.
