    Keputihan dapat terjadi pada setiap wanita, tanpa memandang usia. Keputihan dapat bersifat normal dan tidak normal. Keputihan tidak normal perlu diwaspadai karena merupakan gejala suatu penyakit reproduksi. Keputihan sering dianggap sebagai hal yang umum dan sepele bagi wanita apalagi remaja. Penyebab keputihan bekaitan dengan cara kita merawat organ reproduksi. Pengetahuan mengenai keputihan sangat diperlukan untuk menentukan sikap yang akan dilakukan. Pendidikan kesehatan perlu diberikan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan dapat mengubah sikap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan pengetahuan dan sikap siswi sebelum dan sesudah pemberian pendidikan kesehatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian operasional dengan rancangan penelitiannya adalah one-group pratest-posttest design. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitas sebagai instrumen penelitian. Sampel penelitian ini meliputi 141 siswi di SMA Negeri 4 Semarang dengan menggunakan cluster sampling sebagai teknik pengambilan sampel.     The First 24 Hours Post Partum Mother’s Breast Milk Production at Hospital

    Breast milk is ideal baby food, various kinds of breast milk content are needed by the baby. Factors affecting breastmilk production among others: mother's food intake, mind, physiological anatomy, baby suction factors, rest factors and drug factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the production of postpartum mother milk in the first 24 hours. The research was conducted in descriptive quantitative with a time-series approach. The research subjects were obtained through consecutive sampling. Data were obtained at 2 hours postpartum, 16 hours postpartum and 24 hours postpartum using measuring cups and observation sheets. The subjects of this study were 21 normal postpartum mothers. The research data were analyzed using univariate analysis. The study was conducted in July 2020 at Ungaran Hospital. Respondents have explained the study. Researchers guarantee the confidentiality of respondents from the beginning to the end of the study. The results showed parity of postpartum multiparous mothers was 52.4%, primiparous 47.6%. Postpartum mothers with the early adult category were 66.7%. Postpartum mother breastmilk production at 2 hours with an average ± 0.155 cc, the mother experienced an increase in the amount of milk production at 16 hours postpartum by an average of ± 1.272 ml and at 24 hours postpartum experienced an increase in the amount of mother's milk production on average ± 1.369 ml. It can be concluded that physiologically normal post-partum mother milk production has increased gradually, the increase is because the more often the mother empties the breast, the more breast milk production

              Kanker payudara penyebab kematian utama.  Kanker payudara merupakan penyakit dengan persentase kasus tertinggi di dunia yaitu sebesar 43,3% dan persentase kematian akibat kanker payudara sebesar 12,9%. Kanker payudara dapat dideteksi secara dini. Deteksi dini yang dapat dilakukan dengan pemeriksaan payudara sendiri (SADARI). Pemeriksaan ini cara yang mudah dilakukan oleh wanita. Banyak wanita yang tidak pernah melakukan deteksi dini, atau melakukan pemeriksaan payudara sendiri, alasanya  wanita usia subur (WUS) kurang pengetahuan tentang kanker payudara dan deteksi dini dengan SADARI. Kurangnya pengetahuan WUS menimbulkan anggapan bahwa kegiatan SADARI menyita waktu dan  tidak perlu dilakukan pada orang yang sehat. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh Pendidikan Kesehatan Dengan Video Terhadap Pengetahuan Tentang Pemeriksaan SADARI Pada WUS. Desain penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre eksperimental dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design. Analisa data yag digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis univariat, bivariat dengan uji Wilcoxon serta multivariat.  Kriteria inklusi adalah WUS yang periksa dipuskesmas dan bersedia untuk diteliti. Instrument yang digunakan adalah kuasioner tingkat pengetahuan WUS tentang SADARI sebelum dan setelah pemberian Pendidikan kesehatan. Hasil penelitian ini didaptkan adanya  tingkat pengetahuan baik sebelum diberikan Pendidikan Kesehatan 27,5 dan setelah diberikan menjadi 36,2 untuk pengetahuan cukup sebelum diberikan Pendidikan Kesehatan 8,95 dan setelah diberikan menjadi 6,7 pengetahuan kurang  sebelum diberikan Pendidikan Kesehatan 6,55 dan setelah diberikan menjadi 0,1. Dari uji Wilcoxon didapatkan hasil nilai Z -5,588 dan Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) 0,00 atau sama dengan p-value < 0,05. Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada variable status pernikahan, pendidikan dan pekerjaan value <0,05

With the increasing complexity of healthcare systems, maintaining and enhancing nurse competence is essential to ensure patient safety, improve care outcomes, and adapt to technological advancements. This systematic review aims to synthesize recent evidence on hospital-based strategies and interventions implemented worldwide to sustain and improve nurse competence. A comprehensive literature search was conducted across multiple databases for peer-reviewed articles published between 2020 and 2025. Studies focusing on hospital initiatives for nurse competence development were included. Data extraction emphasized study design, intervention types, measured outcomes, and program effectiveness. The review identified several key approaches, including continuing professional development (CPD), simulation-based training, mentorship programs, competency assessment frameworks, digital learning platforms, and interprofessional collaboration initiatives. Evidence indicates that multifaceted strategies combining education, practical training, feedback mechanisms, and organizational support significantly enhance nurses’ clinical skills and confidence. Hospitals worldwide employ diverse yet complementary methods to maintain nursing competence amid evolving healthcare demands. Prioritizing structured CPD programs integrated with innovative teaching methods can optimize nurse performance. Future research should focus on the long-term impact of these interventions across varied cultural contexts

    Background: The clinical authority of nurses is a critical aspect of healthcare delivery that influences patient outcomes and the overall effectiveness of health systems. This systematic review aims to synthesize recent evidence regarding the implementation of clinical authority among nurses worldwide. Methods: A comprehensive literature search was conducted across multiple databases, focusing on peer-reviewed articles published between 2018 and 2022. Studies were selected based on their relevance, methodological quality, and focus on clinical authority in nursing practice. Results: The review identified key themes, including the impact of clinical authority on patient care, the role of education and training, and the challenges faced by nurses in exercising their authority. Evidence consistently showed that empowering nurses with clinical authority leads to improved patient outcomes and satisfaction. Conclusions: The effective implementation of clinical authority in nursing is essential for optimizing patient care. Healthcare systems should prioritize policies that support the empowerment of nurses in clinical decision-making

    Evaluation of sleep quality among chemotherapy-treated cancer patients

    Cancer arises from a variety of diseases, injuries, benign tumors, lifestyle factors, and other issues. Approximately 50% of cancer patients experience sleep disturbances, such as insomnia and abnormal sleep cycles. This study aims to describe the sleep quality of cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. Methodology: This quantitative research employs a descriptive approach, with consecutive sampling used to select participants. The sample consisted of 41 cooperative cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy who were capable of performing daily activities. Informed consent was obtained from respondents, and data were collected using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) questionnaire. The results indicated that of the seven PSQI indicators, 54.4% of patients subjectively reported good sleep quality, 46.3% had a sleep duration of 5-6 hours, and 43.9% experienced a sleep latency of 30-60 minutes. Sleep efficiency of 75%-84% was identified, measuring the time spent in bed before falling asleep and the total sleep duration. Sleep disturbances were reported with scores of 10-18 by 51.2% of participants, and 43.9% consumed sleep medication once a week. Daytime dysfunction was scored at 1-2 by 41.5% of patients, who reported feeling drowsy 1-2 times during daytime activities and exhibited low to moderate enthusiasm while engaging in activities. In conclusion, poor sleep quality was observed among cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy

    Impact of Pelvic Muscle Exercises on Productive Women’s Health: A Systematic Review

    Pelvic muscle exercises (PMEs), often referred to as Kegel exercises, are a non-invasive intervention aimed at strengthening the pelvic floor muscles, which play a crucial role in various aspects of women’s reproductive and sexual health. This systematic review evaluates the impact of PMEs on the health of productive women, specifically focusing on the prevention and treatment of urinary incontinence, improvement of sexual function, and overall quality of life. A comprehensive literature search identified 20 studies that met the inclusion criteria. The review suggests that PMEs are effective in improving pelvic floor muscle strength, reducing the incidence and severity of urinary incontinence, enhancing sexual satisfaction, and improving quality of life in productive women. However, further research is needed to standardize PME protocols and assess their long-term benefit

    The Relationship Between Nurses’ Job Stress and The Implementation of Patient Safety in The Hospital

    Nurses’ job stress is considered as a human resource management’s issue in the hospital. Study literature reviewed 13.6% of ICU nurses encounter the potential threat related to the patient safety occurrences. This study was designed to investigate the correlation between nurses’ job stress and the implementation of patient safety in the hospital in-patient room. This study used a quantitative-analytical method with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 30 respondents were recruited by using proportionate random sampling. A self-reported questionnaire was utilized to collect the data. The normality data was tested by using Kolmogorov Smirnov analysis (p<0.05). Spearman Rank test was applied to analyze the overall data. The study findings revealed there was no significant relationship between nurses’ job stress and the patient safety on the target 1 (implementation of patient identification), target 3 (drug safety improvement), target 4 (definitive location and procedure of surgery patient), target 5 (post-health-services infection risk) and target 6 (risk-falls reduction). However, the analysis was found to be statistically significant between nurses’ job stress and effective-communication enhancement (target 2 of patient safety).     The effect of betel leaves decoction on the healing of perineum wounds in postpartum mothers at the maternity health center in Demak District, Demak Regency

    Background : Perineal wound is a wound in perineal area naturally caused by episitomy. Injury to the perineum during childbirth causes the need for a proper treatment so that the injured can recover soon. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of betel leaf decoction on the healing of perineal wounds in postpartum mothers. Methods : This study was carried out using Quasi Experimental research and post test with control group design of the intervention group and the control group. Meanwhile, the sampling technique used was the consecutive sampling method using the mann whitney test. Result : The intervention group which used betel leaf at fast category was 9 people (60.0%), medium category was 5 people (33.3%) and slow category was 1 person (6.7%). Meanwhile, the control group did not use betel leaf at the slow category was 10 people (66.7%), while those who were at the medium category was 5 people (33,3%). &nbsp;Conclution : The results showed that p value obtained was 000 (&lt; 0.05), thus Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, indicating that there was an effect of betel leaf decoction on the healing of perineal wounds in postpartum mothers
