Case Study for Holylight(HK)
In this thesis the case company – Holylight (HK) was thoroughly studied. The company structure, business strategic management and Marketing mix (4ps) were analyzed using SWOT analysis. It was found that Holylight (HK) had huge poten-tial in the business its stable supplies from the United States of America, Europe and Australia; Alliance partnership company ensure the steady sales channel in potential market – China that further development and expansion are highly feasible.
However there are issues, both internal and external. T prudent strategies and lack of manpower that might hinder a smooth growth of the business. Advises and recommendations were given to tackle the issues mentioned, such as bring up a successor and entering to a new market which related to Marine industry. Hopefully the applications of them would help Holylight (HK) in the future.
Author used interview as the main researching Method. Author collected the Information which needed in this case study from the CEO directly. Observational research also apply in this case study, author worked for the case company for a not short period and it provided the information in more objective way

STRATEGI BAURAN PEMASARAN AIR MINERAL HK DIKABUPATEN FAKFAK
Engaged in the industrial sector to meet the needs of the majority of society. The HK Mineral Water Industry was founded in 2011 until now. The marketing mix in the HK mineral water business is already good enough so that the marketing process with the 4P concept applied can run according to the market conditions at the sales location. The purpose of writing the Assignment report The end is to find out the marketing mix strategy for HK Mineral Water by the HK Mineral Water business in Fakfak district. The author uses a descriptive analysis method that compares existing data with various theories that support existing data with various theories that support and are explanatory and expounding. Measurement of variables This is done using the Libert scale, which is used for the attitudes, opinions and perceptions of a person or group of people. This research involved 50 respondents from the population of HK mineral water consumers in the city of Fakfak. The questionnaires distributed have all been distributed and can be used as data in this research. Regarding Air HK product quality, regarding the packaging of Air HK products it is in the good category. A product is anything that a producer can offer to the market to fulfill the market's desires or needs to fulfill desire or need. In this research, the implementation of the marketing strategy used by HK Mineral Water is quite good because it always focuses on fulfilling the needs and desires of consumers. From the results of the research carried out, it can be concluded that the research results are the marketing mix strategy for HK Mineral Water in Fakfak district from all product variables with respondents who said that the Air Mineral HK product was in the good category with 1559 points, it could be concluded that the Air HK product was running well.

C-Reactive Protein Induces Interleukin-6 and Thrombospondin-1 Protein and mRNA Expression through Activation of Nuclear Factor-kappa B in HK-2 Cells
Background: Although C-reactive protein (CRP) is significantly increased in patients with diabetic nephropathy, whether CRP exerts direct proinflammatory effects on human renal tubular epithelial cells (HK-2 cells) is still unclear. Methods: HK-2 cells were incubated with purified CRP at clinically relevant concentrations (0, 5, 10, 20 and 40 mu g/ml). The protein and transcript levels of thrombospondin-1 (TSP-1) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) were determined by ELISA and RT-PCR. Phosphorylation of p38MAPK was investigated through Western blot analysis in HK-2 cells induced by CRP. The activation of nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-kappa B) was studied via EMSA. A specific p38MAPK inhibitor (SB203580) and an NF-kappa B inhibitor (PDTC; pyrrolidine dithiocarbamate) were used to analyze the signal transduction in CRP induction. To explore the direct or indirect role of CRP in HK-2 cells, IL-6 or TSP-1 antibodies were used. The expression of IL-6, TSP-1 and transforming growth factor-beta(1) (TGF-beta(1)) were determined through Western blot analysis in HK-2 cells. Results: In HK-2 cells, purified CRP significantly induced protein release and mRNA expression of IL-6 and TSP-1 in a dose- and time-dependent manner. TGF-beta(1) protein was overexpressed in HK-2 cells induced by CRP, which cannot be inhibited by IL-6 or TSP-1 antibodies. CRP triggered phosphorylation of p38MAPK and activation of NF-kappa B-mediated signal transduction. SB203580 (5 mu m) and PDTC (50 mu m) efficiently suppressed those effects of CRP in HK-2 cells. Conclusions: CRP induces IL-6 and TSP-1 protein release and mRNA expression from HK-2 cells via activation of the p38MAPK and NF-kappa B signaling pathways and TGE-beta(1) was highly expressed in HK-2 cells, suggesting that CRP plays an important role in the propagation and prolongation of inflammation in renal fibrosis. Book review: generation HK: seeking identity in China's shadow by Ben Bland
A new contribution to the Penguin Specials Hong Kong series, in Generation HK: Seeking Identity in China’s Shadow author Ben Bland offers a pocket-sized investigation into Hong Kong’s up-and-coming generation. This is a welcome and easily digestible introduction to the political and social issues Hong Kongers are grappling with today, expressed through engaging prose focused on people rather than statistics, writes Thomas Kingston. The Effect of HK-1001 Pharmacopuncture on Hyperlipidemia Induced Rats
Objective&Methods : The purpose of this study is to observe the effects of HK-1001 Pharmacopuncture at GB34(Yangleungchean)
on hyperlipidemia in rats. The author performed several experimental items to analyze the levels of various components and enzymes in serum, urine and liver, as well as the histological changes of liver and aorta.
Results : 1. HK-1001 Pharmacopuncture infusion solution increased the cell viability rate, DPPH radical scavenging activity and HMG-CoA reductase inhibition rate in rat liver cells.
2. The levels of total cholesterol, free cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, phospholipid in serum and AI(atherogenic index) were decreased, and the ratio of HDL to TCL(HDL/TCL) and the level of TG in serum were increased as compared with those of the control group.
3. In the HK-1001 group, serum GOT was significantly lower than those of the HG group and the saline group, and serum ALP was significantly higher than that of the HG group.
4. Hepatic GSH and catalase activities were significantly increased as compared with those of the saline group.
Conclusion : From the above results, it is suggested that HK-1001 Pharmacopuncture at GB34 has a therapeutic effect on
hyperlipidemia
