    1881-1965 yılları arasında Konya'da yaşayan İbrahim Aczî Kendî, Konya'nın XX. yüzyılda yetiştirdiği önemli şair, gazeteci, araştırmacı, yazar, mutasavvıf ve folklorculardandır. Konya'da öğretmenlik yapan İbrahim Aczî Kendî, Arapça ve Farsça öğrenerek kendini geliştirmiş, tasavvuf, edebiyat ve tarihle ilgili kitaplar hazırlamıştır. İbrahim Aczî Kendî'nin bizzat kendisinin kaleme aldığı, tek nüshası Yusuf Ağa Kütüphanesinde 10465/1 numara ile kayıtlı olan Devr-i Zaman adlı eseri, 360 Farsça rubâî ve bu rubâîlerin Osmanlı Türkçesiyle yazılmış açıklamalarından oluşmaktadır. Bu çalışmada İbrahim Aczî Kendî'nin hayatı incelenmiş, Devr-i Zaman adlı eserinde bulunan 360 rubâînin son 180 tanesi çalışılmıştır. Her bir rubâînin Farsça ana metinleri bilgisayar ortamına aktarılmış, bazen sadece tercüme, bazen de çeşitli açıklamalar içeren Osmanlı Türkçesiyle yazılan kısımlar ise latin harfleriyle aktarılmıştır. İbrahim Aczî Kendî, bu çalışmada ele alınan rubâîlerinde, genellikle ilahi aşk, toplumsal ahlâk, zamandan şikâyet, riya ve kibirden uzak durmanın gerekliliği gibi birçok konuya değinmiştir.İbrahim Aczî Kendî who lived the years between 1881 and 1965 in Konya is an important poet, a journalist, an investigate author, a mystic and a folklorist who raised by Konya in 20th century. İbrahim Aczî Kendi, worked as a tutor in Konya, improved himself by learning Arabian and Persian, prepared books about mysticism, literature and history. Devr-i zaman, which is written by İbrahim Aczî Kendî by himself and whose only transcript is registered with the number 104657/1 in Yusuf Ağa Library, is made of 360 Persian rubaies and their explanation which is written in Ottoman Turkish. In this study İbrahim Aczî Kendî's life and last 180 of 360 Persian rubaies are studied. Each of rubaies' Persian main texts are transferred to electronic environment. Parts that sometimes include translation, sometimes also include various types of explanations written Ottoman Turkish are transferred with Latin letters.     Bu çalışmada, İbrahim AczîKendî'ninRubâileri (İlk 180 Rubâi), ilk 180 Rubâi'nin Farsça okunuşu ve Türkçe açıklamasının Osmanlıca'dan çevirisinin okunuşu yer almaktadır. İbrahim AczîKendî, XX. yüzyılda Konya'da yaşamış şair, folklorcu ve yazardır. Güzel sanatlara olan merakından dolayı Mösyö Şilezinger'den resim dersleri almıştır. 1900' de kazandığı İstanbul Mülkiye mektebine devam ederken Mithat Paşa taraftarı olduğu gerekçesiyle Konya'ya sürgün edilmiştir. Bu sürgünde Ebüzziya Tevfik ve Ziya Gökalp ile ilişki kurmuştur. Arapça ve Farsça öğretmenliği yaptıktan sonra emekli olmuş, yaşayıp gördüklerini not ederek dil, edebiyat, tarih ve folklor alanında pek çok eser yazmıştır. Farsça ve Osmanlıca rubâilerden oluşan eseri Devr-i Zaman'dır. Tek nüshası Yusuf Ağa Kütüphanesinde 10465/1 numara ile kayıtlı olan Devr-i Zaman, 360 Farsça beyitten ve Osmanlıca açıklamadan oluşmaktadır. İbrahim AczîKendîrubâilerini, Allah'ın varlığı ve yüceliği, kâinatın sırrı, evrenin yaratılışı, dünyanın faniliği ve felekten şikâyet üzerine oluşturmuştur. Hikemî tarzda bir üslup rubâileri sarmıştır. Metinde telmih sanatına sıklıkla başvurulurken teşbih, teşhis, iktibas sanatlarından da yararlanmıştır. Eserin bütününe hâkim olan anlayış, aşktır. Aşkın yanı sıra Kendî, felekten de sıklıkla şikâyette bulunmaktadır.     External interventions and the duration of civil wars

    The authors combine an empirical model of external intervention, with a theoretical model of civil war duration. Their empirical model of intervention allows them to analyze civil war duration, using"expected"rather than"actual"external intervention as an explanatory variable in the duration model. Unlike previous studies, they find that external intervention is positively associated with the duration of civil war. They distinguish partial third-party interventions that extend the length of war, from multilateral"peace"operations, which have a mandate to restore peace without taking sides - and which typically take place at war's end, or at least when both sides have agreed to a cease-fire. In a future paper, the authors will examine whether partial third-party interventions - whatever their effect on a war's duration - increase the risk of war's recurrence.     Concjunctions İn Hushang-E Golshiri's Novel Ayneha'yi Dardar

    Bu çalışmada, yazar Hûşeng-î Golşîrî’nin “Âynehâ-yı Derdâr” isimli romanının tercümesi yapılarak gramer yapısı, bağlaçlar üzerinde ele alınmıştır. 1992’de yayımlanan bu romanın öyküsü, yurt dışında İran edebi toplantılarına katılmak için Avrupa’ya seyahat eden “İbrahim” adında orta yaşlı bir yazarı konu alır. Bu toplantılardan birinin sonunda İbrahim birinden kısa bir not bulur, bu kişi İbrahim’den Paris’e seyahat ederek verilen numarayı aramasını ister. Zamanla aynı kişiden başka notlarda İbrahim’e ulaşır, ama bu kişi kimdir? Golşîrî, aynı zamanda bu öyküsünde İran ve Avrupa arasındaki kültürel çelişkileri bir büyüteç altında inceleyerek, siyasi kurgunun bazı acılarını dile getirmiştir. Yazar bu kitapta, yazabilmek için İran’da bulunmanın gerekliliğini sorgulamıştır. “Vatana sadık kalınmalı mı? Vatanda kalmak bağlılık demek midir?” Romanın tercümesi yapıldıktan sonra gramatikal açıdan bağlaçlarla ilgili bilgiler verildi, bağlaçların kullanıldığı cümleler incelendi, özellikle “ki” bağlacının Farsça’da iki cümleyi birbirine bağlayarak anlam kazandırması ve bu anlamların çeşitliliği üzerinde durulmuştur.In this study, the grammatical structure of the writer Huşeng-i Golşiri's novel "Âynehâ-yı Derdâr" was translated and discussed on conjunctions. The story of this novel, published in 1992, is about a middle-aged writer named "Ibrahim" who travels to Europe to attend Iranian literary conventions abroad. At the end of one of these meetings, İbrahim finds a short note from someone, who asks İbrahim to travel to Paris and call the given number. Over time, other notes from the same person reach İbrahim, but who is this person? At the same time, in this story, Golşîrî expressed some of the pains of political fiction by examining the cultural contradictions between Iran and Europe under a magnifying glass. In this book, the author questioned the necessity of being in Iran in order to write. “Should one be loyal to the homeland? Does staying at home mean loyalty?” After the translation of the novel, grammatical information about the conjunctions was given, the sentences in which the conjunctions were used were examined, especially the meaning of the conjunction "ki" by connecting two sentences in Persian and the diversity of these meanings were emphasized

    Konya Yusuf Ağa Kütüphanesindeki 10459 kayıt numaralı Şahnâme-i Ahî adlı eserin ortaya çıkarılarak günümüz Farsça yazım kurallarıyla elektronik ortama aktarılması amaçlanmıştır. Mesnevi tarzında yazılan bu eserle ilgili bilgiler verilmeye çalışılmış, ayrıca eserin müellifi ve müstensihi hakkında da bilgilere yer verilmiştir. Ahî Rustem Dârâ eserinde XV-XVI. yüzyılların Osmanlı İmparatorluğu döneminde, dönemin sultanlarından Sultan II. Mehmed ve Sultan II. Bayezid'in seferlerini ve fetihlerini şahname tarzında destansı bir dille anlatmış ve dönemin tarihi olaylarıyla ilgili bilgiler vermiştir. Eserin yazım tarihiyle ilgili kesin bir kayıt bulunmamasına rağmen zikredilen olaylar hangi dönemi kapsadığı ile ilgili bizlere ipucu vermiştir. Bu çalışmayla, bugüne kadar gün yüzüne çıkmamış olan bu eser hakkında okuyucunun bilgi sahibi olması istenmiştir.Shahname-i Ahi, numbered 10459 in the Konya Yusuf Aga Library, has been unearthed and transferred to the electronic medium with the current Persian spelling rules. Information about this work written in mesnevi style was tried to be given and short information about the author and the author of the work was also given. Ahi Rustam Dârâ in his work XV-XVI. century, during the Ottoman Empire, Sultan Mehmed II and Sultan Bayezid II and the conquests of the sultan in the style of epic narrative and gave information about the historical events of the period. Although there is no precise record of the writing date of the work, the mentioned events gave us a clue as to which period it covers. With this study, the reader has been asked to have information about this work which has not been revealed to date

Bu çalışmada, önce Mesnevû Sözlükleri genel olarak tanıtılmış, daha sonra Abdülmecûd Sivâsi'nin hayatı hakkında bilinenler derlenmış ve Sivâsû tarafından XVII. yüzyılın başlarında yazılmış olan Mesnevû Sözlugu günümüz Türkçe'sine aktarılmıştır. Abdülmecûd Sivâsû, eserine Farsça gramer kurallarını açıklayarak başlamaktadır. Bu ilk bölümün ardından Mesnevû fiilleri sözlüğüne geçilir. Bu sözlük, Mesnevi'de kullanılan fiillerin anlamlarının daha iyi anlaşılması için hazırlanmıştır. Sözlüğün yazar tarafından bizzat yazılmış herhangi bir nüshası bulunamamış, ancak yazar tarafından düzeltilen ve ekleme yapılan bir nüshası bulunarak bu çalışmayla ilim âlemine tanıtılmıştır.Masnavi dictionaries are prepaired to help people, who read Masnavi of Mavlana, to better understand it. In this work, firstly Masnavi dictionaries are introduced generally, secondly known information about Abdulmecid Sivasi is compiled and then Mesnevi Dictionary, which is written by Sivasi in 17th Century, is translated to todays Turkish. Abdulmecid Sivasi starts his work with explaining Persion Grammer rules. After this section, Dictionary of Masnavi Verbs starts. This dictionary is prepaired to better understand verbs used in Masnavi. An original copy of this dictionary, which is written by Sivasi, could'nt be found. However, a copy which is edited and added by author was found and it is introduced to science world

    Morphological and grammatical study of the fuctional derived nouns in the six anthologies by Sheikh Ibrahim Inyas / Ibrahim Shaaban

    This research is a morphological, grammatical and analytical study on the multiplicity of the scale of five derived nouns and their formulas as used in the six anthologies (dawawin) of Senegalese Sheikh Ibrahim Inyas al-Kaulakhi, based on the chosen rulings, methods and context used by the author of the six collections. The research focuses and discusses on the subject noun, the accusative noun, the hyperbolic participles, the attributive participle, comparative/superlative adjective, and their scales and formulas, both standard and nonstandard, and the usage of their multiple meanings according to the methods employed in these six dawawin, including infinitive and augmented noun of three or four lettered origin, with grammatical rulings associated with alif and lam (al), as selected or chosen according to the usage of Sheikh Ibrahim Inyas al-Kaulakhi. In order to find out the context of morphological and grammatical methods, analyses were made that acquaint readers with the taste of Sheikh Ibrahim's ability in applying morphological and grammatical rules. Through extrapolation, the morphological and syntactic source of each derivative was separately traced in those six dawawin. In reviewing the morphological and syntactic language of those derivatives, books and the theories of ancient and modern linguists, according to consensus and contrast, were used in shedding light on each derived noun by studying the ancient morphological and syntactic sources according to the information and theories derived therefrom and made analysis thereon. In this regard, a morphological or grammatical context was established using a qualitative rather than quantitative approach based on which the research was conducted and its structure, sections and chapters arranged accordingly, with clarification and detailed analyses. Findings of this research have established the functioning of morphological structure and scales of the five derived nouns as well as the semantic meaning, application and usage of augmented derived nouns as dealt with in their grammatical rulings associated with the Arabic definite article - alif and lam (al), to enable them function in the past, present and future tenses, and what not. The research concluded with a revelation which is indicative of Sheikh Ibrahim Inyas’ ability and mastery of morphological scales and grammatical expertise as though he lived with and learnt from Khalil, Sibawayh, Ibn Jinni and Asma'i and their ilk
