A new robust stability analysis approach for discrete-time system with time-varying delay
Study of Seasonal Incidence of Rice Earhead Bug (Coreidae: Hemiptera)
This study investigates the relationship between climatic factors and the population dynamics of the rice earhead bug (Leptocorisa acuta) in Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh. Through correlational analysis, we examined the associations between rainfall, rainy days, morning relative humidity (RH), evening RH, evening vapour pressure, wind velocity, maximum temperature, morning vapour pressure, evaporation, sunshine, and the prevalence of rice earhead bugs. Results indicate a negative correlation between rice earhead bug population and both rainfall and rainy days, suggesting a potential suppression effect of increased precipitation on bug abundance. Morning RH, evening RH, evening vapour pressure, and wind velocity showed non-significant negative correlations with bug population, indicating that these factors may have limited influence on bug dynamics in our study area. Conversely, a positive non-significant correlation was observed between rice earhead bug population and maximum temperature, morning vapour pressure, evaporation, and sunshine. This implies that higher temperatures and increased solar radiation may have a subtle positive effect on bug abundance, although further investigation is warranted to elucidate the underlying mechanisms. Overall, our findings shed light on the complex interplay between climatic factors and rice earhead bug dynamics, highlighting the importance of considering multiple variables in pest management strategies for rice cultivation
Interplay of Structural, Optical and Magnetic properties in Gd doped CeO2
In this research wok systematic investigation on the synthesis, characterization, optical and magnetic properties of Ce1-xGdxO2 (where x=0.02, 0.04, 0.06, and 0.10) synthesized using the Solid-state method. Structural, Optical and Magnetic properties of the samples were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV-VIS-NIR spectroscopy and VSM. Fluorite structure is confirmed from the XRD measurement on Gd doped CeO2 samples. Magnetic studies showed that the Gd doped polycrystalline samples display room temperature ferromagnetism and the ferromagnetic ordering strengthens with the Gd concentration
Evaluation of Newer Insecticides against Rice Earhead bug (Leptocorisa acuta Thunberg)
A study was conducted to evaluate the efficacy of newer insecticides in managing rice earhead bug, Leptocorisa acuta Thunberg during the Kharif season of 2020. The treatments included two sprays of Imidacloprid 17.8 SL @ 300 ml/ha, Thiamethoxam 25 WG @100 gm/ha, Dinotefuran 20 SG@200 gm/ha, Clothianidin 50 WDG @ 50 gm/ha, Acetamiprid 20 SP@ 50 gm/ha, Chloropyriphos 50 EC + Cypermethrin 5% EC @1200 ml/ha and untreated control. The presence of earhead bugs was observed from the tillering stage to the harvesting stage of the crop, with the highest population recorded at 16.50 bugs per hill during mid-October. Among the six insecticidal treatments tested Dinotefuran demonstrated the highest efficacy against earhead bugs and resulted in least panicle and grain damage during the 1st and 2nd spray applications, respectively. Dinotefuran 20SG can be considered a promising option for managing rice earhead bugs to mitigate potential yield losses

Right Sided Ureterocele Presented with Multiple Calculi: A Rare Case Report
An ureterocele is a congenital abnormality found in the ureter where the distal ureter balloons at its opening into the bladder, forming a sac-like pouch. It is most often associated with a duplicated collecting system, where two ureters drain their respective kidney instead of one. Ureterocele occur in approximately 1 out of every 4,000 babies and are 10 times more common in girls than in boys with a left sided preponderance because a duplex collecting system (two ureters for one kidney) is more common in girls. This case report is about a 34 years old male patient complaining of lower abdominal pain, burning pain during micturation (dysuria), flank pain occasionally on right side and frequent urination. On USG and IVP x-ray, diagnosis was made as right renal hydronephrosis with right hydroureter due to right side intravesical ureterocele with right vesicoureteric calculi (multiple about 265 stones). Ureterocoele was incised endoscopically and total 265 small calculi was removed
