    Maģistra darbā tiek skatīts temats, kas veltīts jogas modernizācijai un izplatībai ārpuses Indijas, iepazīstot rietumu sabiedrību ar jogu, kas nevis koncentrējas uz meditāciju un atbrīvošanos no pasaulīgām piesaistēm, bet kas pamatā balstīta fiziskās sagatavotības, stresa mazināšanas un relaksācijas tehnikās. Attiecībā uz jogas mūsdienīgu attīstību, par vienu no svarīgākajām personām kļūst Tirumalajs Krišnamačarja (1888-1989), kurš atstāja ļoti lielu ietekmi jogas attīstībā, liekot uzsvaru tieši uz āsanu jeb jogas fizisko pozu veikšanu. Transformējot tradicionālo jogu, Krišnamačarjas mācekle – Indra Devi (1899-2002) viņa mācību pielāgoja Rietumu sabiedrībai. Maģistra darba mērķis ir: Izanalizēt, kādas Krišnamačarjas jogas prakses izmaiņas Indra Devi ievieš Rietumos. Maģistra darbā četru nodaļu ietvaros autore iepazīstina ar Indras Devi ceļu no Rīgas līdz Indijai un vēlāk līdz Holivudai, izdarot neiedomājami daudz jogas attīstībā un izplatībā pasaulē. Autore raksturo Krišnamačarjas jogas pamatprincipus, lai būtu iespējams izdarīt secinājumus par to, ko tieši Indra Devi vispār šajā mācībā un uztverē maina. Darba otrajā daļā autore iepazīstina ar Indras Devi jogas mācību un principiem, kā arī veic vispārīgu salīdzinājumu starp klasiskās Patandžali jogas principiem un izmaiņā, kuras ievieš Krišnamačarja un Indra Devi. Maģistra darbā tiek secināts, ka modernā joga ir pielāgojusies dažādām praktizētāju vajadzībām un vēlmēm visā pasaulē - no dinamiskas un fiziski smagas aštanga un spēka jogas līdz maigai un meditatīvai atjaunojošajai jogai. Līdztekus fiziskajiem aspektiem mūsdienu joga, ko piedāvā Indra Devi, ietver apzinātības, stresa mazināšanas un visaptverošas labsajūtas elementus, padarot to par populāru izvēli tiem, kas meklē harmonisku ķermeņa, prāta un gara integrāciju. Indra Devi izmantoja savā laikā populārās idejas par cilvēka tiekšanos pēc brīvības, miera un labklājības. Stils, kādā savās grāmatās Indra Devi uzrunā lasītājus, iepazīstinot ar jogu, ir ļoti vienkāršots un vispārināts. Viņa apzināti izvairās no sarežģītu terminu lietošanas, kas lasītājam varētu prasīt papildus iedziļināšanos hinduisma reliģijā. Tāpēc viņa par jogu runā kā par vispārējas fiziskās labsajūtas veicināšanas instrument. Šāda pieeja gūst ļoti lielus rezultātus. Tāpēc, var secināt, ka autores izvirzītā tēze darba ievadā - “Lai jogas prakse gūtu atzinību ārpus Indijas, Indra Devi to sekularizē, pasniedzot jogu kā fiziskās labsajūtas uzlabošanas aktivitāti, garīguma aspektam atvēlot sekundāru lomu” – ir apstiprinājusies.This Master's thesis deals with the modernization and spread of yoga outside India, introducing the western society to a yoga that does not focus on meditation and release from worldly attachments, but is based on fitness, stress reduction and relaxation techniques. In terms of the modern development of yoga, one of the most important figures is Tirumalai Krishnamacharya (1888-1989), who had a profound influence on the development of yoga, with his emphasis on asana, or the physical performance of yoga postures. Transforming traditional yoga, Krishnamacharya's disciple, Indra Devi (1899-2002), adapted his teachings to Western society. The aim of this Master's thesis is: To analyse the changes that Indra Devi brought to the practice of Krishnamacharya's yoga in the West. In four chapters, the author presents Indra Devi's journey from Riga to India and later to Hollywood, making an incredible contribution to the development and spread of yoga in the world. The author shows the basic principles of Krishnamacharya Yoga to draw conclusions about what exactly Indra Devi is changing in this teaching and perception in general. In the second half of the paper, the author introduces the teachings and principles of Indra Devi's yoga and makes a general comparison between the principles of classical Patanjali yoga and the changes introduced by Krishnamacharya and Indra Devi. Author concludes that modern yoga has adapted to the different needs and preferences of practitioners around the world, from the dynamic and physically demanding Ashtanga and power yoga to the gentle and meditative restorative yoga. In addition to the physical aspects, modern yoga offered by Indra Devi incorporates elements of mindfulness, stress relief and holistic wellness, making it a popular choice for those seeking a harmonious integration of body, mind, and spirit. Indra Devi drew on ideas popular in her time about the human quest for freedom, peace, and well-being. The style in which Indra Devi addresses readers in her book’s introducing yoga is very simplistic and generalized. She deliberately avoids the use of complex terms that might require the reader to delve further into the Hindu religion. Instead, she uses terms and themes that are common in the 20th century. Therefore, it can be concluded that the hypothesis put forward by the author in the introduction of the work - "In order to gain recognition outside India, Indra Devi secularizes the practice of yoga by presenting it as an activity to improve physical well-being, with spirituality playing a secondary role" - has been confirmed. Based on the results of research and discussion, it is known that: the procedure for granting credit to BPR Indra Arta goes through stages, namely submission of proposals, file eligibility checks, file analysis, credit decisions, legislation, credit realization, monitoring. Pengalaman panca indra masih kurang diperhatikan oleh desainer maupun pihak kafe. Efek sensorik pada manusia dan lingkungan sangat penting dalam mendesain elemen-elemen pada interior ruang. Indra penglihatan secara umum memiliki peranan yang paling dominan dalam interior, namun indra non-visual kurang diperhatikan. Rangsangan 4 panca indra yaitu pendengaran, penciuman, peraba, dan penglihatan memberi pengaruh emosional dalam pengalaman ruang. Pengalaman ruang sangat penting dalam mempertahankan ketertarikan pengunjung. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami pentingnya penerapan teori sensory/panca indra pada elemen interior bangunan heritage kafe Tanamera. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif-kuantitatif deskriptif dengan acuan dasar teori Joy Monice M dan Vodvarka dalam buku Sensory Design serta Xue Yu. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengalaman panca indra memiliki peran penting bagi manusia dalam mempersepsi ruang. Pengalaman yang melibatkan panca indra dapat diterapkan pada 9 elemen interior. Secara keseluruhan, kafe Tanamera terdapat beberapa pengalaman yang melibatkan panca indra pada elemen interior ruang.     This research aimed to know the relationship between self confidence with students’ achievement and career planning of grade VIII SMP Negeri 3 Bantul. The research used quantitative approach with correlation type. Research subjects were 93 students who were taken through random sampling technique from 186 populations of students. Data analysis technique which was used to know correlation between variables was double linear correlation. The analysis result showed determinate coefficient value (R²) =0.528, it means that the high expectation for career planning was caused by self confidence and students’ achievement was 52.8% and the rest 47.2% was caused by other variables such as physics, psychology, and environment.  It can be concluded that there re is a positive correlation between self confidence and students’ achievement with students’ career planning of grade VIII SMP Negeri 3 Bantul. The research results are beneficial for counselors as the description of self confidence, students’ achievement, and career planning condition which can be considered in arranging guidance and counseling services program for students at school.</p

    A Novel Alternative To Enhance Durability Performance Of Marine Infrastructure

    Durability problem is well-known to be one of the challenges which also can lead to significant deterioration of infrastructure. In marine environment, structures are considerably failure because of corrosion. Corrosion, threaten reinforcement steel duringthe service life of the building, is chemical and electro-chemical reactions which cause metals to lose their metallic properties. This is also the predominant deterioration mechanism of reinforced concrete structure throughout the world. This dissertation presents the work performed under experimental program of flexural RC beam to enhance corrosion resistance in terms of durability criteria. A novel alternative of engineered cementitious composite (ECC) using high calcium fly ash were developed due to the locally availability of this class of fly ash. For analysis fully behaviour under corrosion damaged of RC beam structures, two well-known RC beams, normal concrete (NC) and supplementary cementitious fly ash (SMFA) were considered for investigation. Theinvestigation will be accomplished through the establishment of links between each four work packages (WP), development, assessment, implementation, and validation. All those packages will fundamentally tackle major concrete deterioration problems. This work packages not limited to develop the mixture of a novel ECC, to undertake the key durability and corrosion test, to conduct structural performance of flexural RC beam and to perform computer simulations using finite element methods to corroborate findings. WP1 will relate to determining mechanical and physical properties. In this WP, a novel ECC need to satisfy the required tensile strain which is 1 to 8 % capacity. When the criteria agreed, the various test in WP2 under durability performance were assessed such as, sorptivity, water absorption, rapid chloride penetration, chloride diffusion and accelerated corrosion to identify first category as parameter. As the next WP3, elemental structure of flexural beams was implemented to see the function categoryin marine environments identified both of non-corroded and corroded RC beam. Then, to validate the behaviour, WP4 undertaken using digital image correlation and numerical analysis using ATENA studio. The employed techniques for incorporating durability under corrosion damage for all WP represent a new alternative to improve durability performance. A novel ECC using high calcium fly ash successfully produced ultimate tensile strain 2.3 mm/mm with tensile stress 4.1 MPa, noticeably as a family of ECC. It also presents as a damage-tolerant composite where the typical crack width is limited, demonstrating to not experience crushing at the compression zone. The mass loss due of reinforcement bar due to corrosion exposure was about 2.8% compared to NC with 8.3% and SMFA with 5.2%, showed significant improvement. In general, structural, and material testing, the DIC system and ATENA studio demonstrated in this study displaying quite similar conditions. This comparison according to the load-deflection response, crack pattern and failure mode. ================================================================================================================================== Masalah daya tahan dikenal sebagai salah satu tantangan yang juga dapat menyebabkan kerusakan infrastruktur yang signifikan. Dalam lingkungan laut, struktur kerap rusak karena korosi. Korosi, merusak baja tulangan selama masa pakai bangunan, adalah reaksi kimia dan elektrokimia yang menyebabkan logam kehilangan sifat logamnya. Ini juga merupakan mekanisme kerusakan utama struktur beton bertulang di seluruh dunia. Disertasi ini menyajikan pekerjaan yang dilakukan di bawah program eksperimental balok lentur beton bertulang untuk meningkatkan ketahanan korosi dalam hal kriteria daya tahan. Sebuah alternatif baru rekayasa semen komposit(ECC) menggunakan fly ash kalsium tinggi dikembangkan, menimbang ketersediaan lokal kelas fly ash ini. Untuk analisis perilaku penuh di bawah kerusakan korosi struktur balok beton bertulang, dua balok beton bertulang yang umum digunakan, beton normal (NC) dan beton dengan bahan semen tambahan (SMFA) dipertimbangkan untuk dianalisa.Investigasi dilakukan melalui pembentukan link antara masing-masing empat paket pekerjaan (WP), pengembangan, penilaian, implementasi, dan validasi. Semua paketpekerjaantersebut pada dasarnya akan mengatasi masalah kerusakan beton akibat faktor durabilitas. Paket pekerjaan ini tidak terbatas pada pengembangan campuran ECC baru, analisa parameter kunci durabilitas, evaluasikinerja struktural balok lentur beton bertulang dan simulasi komputer menggunakan metode elemen hingga untuk menguatkan temuan. WP1 akan berhubungan dengan penentuan sifat mekanik dan fisik. Dalam WP ini, ECC baru perlu memenuhi regangan tarik yang diperlukan yaitu antara1 hingga 8%. Ketika kriteria disetujui, berbagai pengujian di WP2 di bawah kinerja daya tahan dianalisaseperti, sorptivity, penyerapan air, penetrasi klorida yang cepat, difusi klorida dan korosi yang dipercepat untuk mengidentifikasi kategori pertama sebagai parametertinjauan. Berikutnya yaitu WP3, implementasi struktur elemen balok lentur untuk melihat kategori fungsi di lingkungan laut yang diidentifikasi dengan dua model balok, terkorosi dan tidak terkorosi. Kemudian, untuk memvalidasi perilaku, dilakukan WP4 menggunakan korelasi citra digital dan analisis numerik menggunakan ATENAstudio.Teknik yang digunakan untuk menginvestigasidurabilitasakibat pengaruhkorosi untuk semua WP merupakan alternatif baru untuk meningkatkan kinerja daya tahan. ECC baru yang menggunakan fly ash kalsium tinggi berhasil menghasilkan regangan tarik ultimat 2.3 mm/mm dengan tegangan tarik 4,1 MPa, yang dapat dikategorikan sebagai beton ECC. Material ini juga hadir sebagai alternatif material yang memiliki daya tahan terhadap retak di mana lebar retak sangat sedikit, dengan menunjukkan, tidak pecah pada daerah tekan. Kehilangan massa tulangan akibat paparan korosi dengan desainlaju korosi 10% adalah sekitar 2,8% yang lebih kecil jika dibandingkan dengan NC yang memiliki nilai8,3% dan SMFA dengannilai5,2%, menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan. Secara umum, pengujian struktural, dan material, sistem DIC dan analisa dengan ATENA studio yang didemonstrasikan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan kondisi yang cukup mirip.
