Role of orbital hybridization in anisotropic magnetoresistance
No full textWe theoretically and numerically show that longitudinal orbital currents in ferromagnets depend on the magnetization direction, which contribute to the anisotropic magnetoresistance (AMR). This orbital contribution to AMR arises from the momentum-dependent orbital splitting, which is generally present in multiorbital systems through the orbital anisotropy and the orbital hybridization. We highlight the latter orbital hybridization as an unrecognized origin of AMR and also as a common origin of AMR and orbital Hall effect.
Performance analysis of women's development centers in Seoul
No full text이 연구는 서울시 직영 및 민간위탁 형태로 운영중인 서울시 여성발전센터의 운영형태별 성과를 분석하고 운영에 대한 개선방안을 모색하고자 하였다. 연구방법으로는 문헌조사 및 관련자료조사, 여성발전센터 이용자 및 종사자에 대한 설문조사, 담당공무원을 대상으로 한 심층면담조사를 병행하였다. 성과분석의 제 측면으로 능률성, 효과성, 서비스의 질, 공공성 항목을 구성하였고, 각 항목별 분석지표를 통하여 성과분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과에 따르면 서울시 여성발전센터의 민간위탁 운영은 능률성 및 효과성, 서비스의 질 항목에서는 대부분 바람직한 결과를 가져온 것으로 보였다. 민간부문의 전문성과 경영능력, 그리고 창의력의 발현이 운영성과에 반영되어 서울시의 직영체제 보다는 다소 나은 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 능률성 항목 중 사업비의 비율에서는 시 직영센터가 민간위탁센터보다는 상대적으로 목적사업 중심으로 운영하고 있어서 기관설립목적에 보다 더 충실한 것으로 나타났으며, 공공성 측면에서도 민간위탁센터보다는 나은 결과를 보이고 있다. 그러므로 향후 민간위탁할 경우 예상되는 운영방식으로서 지나치게 수익성을 강조하거나 또는 수강료 수입의 증대를 위한 센터의 생활문화 프로그램의 강화는 바람직하지 않으므로 서울시의 적절한 지도 감독이 필요할 것이다. 또한 전반적으로 여성발전센터의 정체성 확립, 재정자립도 제고, 인력의 전문성 강화 등이 이루어질 필요가 있다. The women's development centers in Seoul have been managed by the City government or the third sector since 1999. The purpose of this study is to analyse the current performance of women's development centers in Seoul, in order to seek ways to advance their service quality and efficiency. The methods of analysis for this study include literature reviews, interviews with employees and public officials, surveys and field research. Four performance indicators were used, including efficiency, effectiveness, quality of service, and equality. Important findings and policy implications are as follows: the women's development centers that are managed by the third sector provide better services by optimizing their expertise but generally are driven by profit-oriented motives rather than a desire to enhance service quality
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. No full textThe followings are the results of this study. First, accreditation of training providers was carried out in order to enhance training effectiveness and its quality, and the usage of the results was various: as criteria to make decisions for government support programs, such as application for and approval of government subsidized training courses, differentiation of training subsidy and oversight and supervision and selection of best training institutes. Also, the results were used to provide trainees with information on training providers or to enhance their training competencies. However, since the final assessment results were not broken down into a differentiated grade system, the results did not have any direct impact on providers, except for the group with the lowest grade.

No full textThis research analyzed on how Korea’s laws are defining an individual’s vocational training right, and how the regulations related to the actual vocational training right are managed. It also analyzed on how the foreign vocational training rights are defined, and reviewed on how those rights have been realized throughout vocational training policies and programs in other countries. Throughout those analysis, the research proposed a direction of legal/systematic adjustment in terms of social integration to improve the vocational training right.
