    This study examines a psychological disorder called dissociative identity disorder (DID) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s show Moon Knight, which premiered on March 30, 2022, and ran for six episodes. The aim of this study is to analyze the dissociative identity disorder (DID) that is being experience by Marc Spector, the main character of Marvel Cinematic Universe’s show, Moon Knight. This study has two objectives, (1) To find out what are the causes of dissociative identity disorder on Marc Spector in Marvel Cinematic Universe’s show Moon Knight. (2) To find out clinical features of dissociative identity disorder on Marc Spector in Marvel Cinematic Universe’s show Moon Knight. (3) To find out how dissociative identity disorder affects the way Marc Spector communicates. The method used in this study were qualitative method. The data of this study were obtained from a Marvel Cinematic Universe’s show Moon Knight. The techniques for collecting data were by watching every episode of the show, taking notes, classifying the data, doing interpretation, and drawing conclusion. The result of the analysis reveals Marc Spector is able to talk different accent and different language when he shifted to his alter ego

    Abscisic acid induces CBF gene transcription and subsequent induction of cold-regulated genes via the CRT promoter element

    Many cold-regulated genes of Arabidopsis are inducible by abscisic acid (ABA) as well as by cold. This has been thought to occur via two separate signaling pathways, with ABA acting via ABA-responsive promoter elements and low temperature activating the C-repeat element (CRT; dehydration-responsive) promoter element via CBF (DREB1) transcription factors. We show here that ABA is also capable of activating the CRT promoter element. Although the more recently discovered ABA-inducible CBF4 transcription factor might have accounted for this, we show here that CBF1-3 transcript levels also increase in response to elevated ABA levels. This increase in CBF1-3 transcript levels appears to be at least in part due to increased activity of the CBF promoters in response to ABA. A total of 125 bp of the CBF2 promoter, which has previously been shown to be sufficient for cold-, mechanical-, and cycloheximide-induced expression, was also sufficient for ABA-induced expression. However, the ABA-responsive promoter element-like motif within this region is not needed for ABA-induced expression. An observed increase in CBF protein levels after ABA treatment, together with previous data showing that increased CBF levels are sufficient for cold-regulated gene induction, suggests that ABA-induced increases in CBF1-3 transcript levels do have the potential to activate the CRT. Our data indicate therefore that activation of the CRT may also occur via a novel ABA-inducible signaling pathway using the normally cold-inducible CBFs

    This draft is the first attempt to establish a UK MARC specifically for Archives and Manuscripts Control since the British Library indicated that it would countenance such extensions to the national UK MARC format. In order to keep consistency with the general UK MARC format, standard UK MARC subject fields are not included in this document, since they should be taken from the latest version of the UK MARC manual. {A note of them should perhaps be included in UK MARC AMC.} {NB Text in braces is intended to be explanatory material for readers of this draft}. Certain other fields have not been included that might occasionally be used in the cataloguing of archival materials but would generally only be used for such materials in organizations which were combining archive databases with library databases. This MARC version is intended for use with descriptions of archive or anuscript material that follow, or fit, the traditional style of cataloguing: we assume that these will normally relate to paper or parchment originals. It is not intended for use with descriptions of other kinds of material. For these, fields may be drawn from the appropriate UK MARC document. MARC versions for use with archives in special formats should be developed, in order to complete the full range of facilities available to archivists and curators
