Primjena pozitivne psihologije na upravljanje profesionalnom vatrogasnom postrojbom
No full textTema je ovoga rada pozitivna psihologija s težištem na posao. Rad se ne bavi više tehničkim ekonomskim pitanjima uređenja radnih mjesta i odnosa među ljudima u tvrtkama, već stavlja težište na unutarnji svijet pojedinca i pozitivnu psihologiju. Zbog dubljega razumijevanja teme u radu se obrađuju sreća, novac i promjene kao zasebni fenomeni. Za dublje razumijevanje same pozitivne psihologije rad ukratko dotiče samu psihologiju kao znanost kroz njezinu prošlost i sadašnjost. Rad se bavi stanjem profesionalnog vatrogastva u Hrvatskoj, detaljnije obrađuje jednu profesionalnu postrojbu te nudi moguća rješenja kroz njezinu Swot analizu, Tows matricu, misiju i viziju. Od anketiranih zaposlenika 42% njih radi u profesionalnim vatrogasnim postrojbama dok su ostali anketirani disperzirani kako u privatnim tako i u društvenim tvrtkama. Anketiranje je sprovedeno u obliku upitnika. Istraživanje je pokazalo da zaposlenici osjećaju stanje u svojim tvrtkama te da su spremni pomoći kada je tvrtka u problemima. Sljedeće što se pokazalo prema mišljenjima zaposlenika jest to da uprave tvrtki nisu na zadovoljavajućem nivou što se tiče provođenja pozitivne psihologije. Dubljim promišljanjem rezultata pokazuje se da uprave imaju bolje zaposlenike no što zaslužuju svojim rukovođenjem. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su nedvosmisleno nezadovoljstvo visinom osobnih dohodaka i lošom sistematizacijom radnih mjesta s obzirom na visine zarada unutar tvrtki. Istraživanje je pokazalo da pozitivnom psihologijom, ali doista samo iskrenom pozitivnom psihologijom, zaposlenici mogu dati i spremni su dati više od očekivanog.The topic of this dissertation is positive psychology, focusing mainly on business. The dissertation no longer deals with the technical economic issues of workspace arrangements and human relationships in companies; instead it focuses on an individuals internal world and positive psychology. In order to achieve a deeper understanding of the topic, the dissertation touches upon topics such as happiness, money and changes as separate phenomena. Psychology as a science with regards to its past and present is elaborated on, as well, in order to present a wholesome overview. The dissertation deals with professional firefighters in Croatia, it examines a professional fire brigade in great detail and offers possible solutions for the issues through Swot analysis, Tows matrix, their mission and vision. 42% of the interviewed firefighters work in professional fire brigades, whereas other interviewed employees are dispersed through various private and civic companies. The interviews were done through questionnaires. The research indicates that employees can tell what the situations are like in their companies and they are willing to help when the company is struggling. The next important discovery is that the level of positive psychology applied by the company leaders is less than satisfactory according to the employees. Deeper analysis of the results indicates that the companies have better employees than they deserve, judging by the way they run the business. The research results reveal an unambiguous dissatisfaction with the salary levels and poor workplace systematization with regards to salary levels within the companies. The research shows that positive psychology but only truly positive psychology can motivate the employees to work a little bit harder and to give more than what is expected of them
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
