Literature of the People's Republic of China

Until now little of China's massive literary output of the last thirty years has been available to American readers. Literature of the People's Republic of Chinapresents a generous sampling in translation of the literature written in the PRC from 1949 to the present. Included here are more than 200 selections: poems, stories, essays, a hsiang-sheng (comic dialogue), and excerpts from novels, plays, movie scripts, and an opera. The collection opens with an excerpt from Mao Tse-tung's 1942 Talks at the Yenan Forum on Literature and Art, which has served as a Chinese Communist literary manifesto. The other selections treat five major themes: the Communist revolution up to 1949, the land reform experience, the Chinese participation in the Korean War, and the socialist reconstruction of the country. Kai-yu Hsu's informative general introduction, his introductions to each section, and explanatory head notes by the translators help place the literature in the context of political campaigns and conflicting ideologies. Literature of the People's Republic of China not only offers a fascinating glimpse into Chinese life but also demonstrates how creative writers have differed in their ideas of how best to serve the revolution

[[abstract]] The first motivation of this essay is to explore the meaning of existence. We human beings are keeping explore the value of life and the meaning of existence. To solving this problem, I pondered through art creation, creating my own meaning of life, wondering the value of existence. The following are the research methods of this essay. The first one, theoretical analysis method is collecting related articles of famous artists, art theories, art history record, getting the creation theory after analysis and summarization. The second one, quality analysis method is using diverse media in the creation to enhance the quality of the work. The third one, action research method is judging the work in a cautious way, trying to find the answer through repeat reflection. The following is the conclusion of the essay and the direction of creation.First, presenting the living experience to the audience through both the work and the process.Second, organizing related art creation theory and building the theoretical foundation of work.Third, using diverse art media to pursue innovation and establish personal creation style.Forth, combining of different media such as hair dressing and establishing the direction of future

These adverse outcomes may be linked to altered biologic secretion from muscles in response to neuromuscular junction (NMJ) degradation, yet the mechanisms remain poorly understood. Concurrently, engineered nanoparticles have shown promise as drug delivery systems for enhancing the bioavailability and retention of therapeutic agents in brain. However, the influence of aging and neuropathology on nanoparticle transport across the blood-brain barrier (BBB) has not been fully elucidated. This dissertation aims to investigate the impact of neuronal innervation on skeletal muscle secretion and to design nanoparticles that probe BBB permeability alterations due to brain disorders and aging. Chapter 1 introduces skeletal muscle-secreted factors, NMJ models, and nanoparticle delivery strategies for BBB traversal. Chapter 2 details an in vitro neuromuscular model illustrating the regulation of muscle secretion by neuronal innervation and the effect of muscle-derived factors on neuronal development. In Chapter 3, the enhancement of neurotrophic exosome secretion from neuromuscular tissues via IGF-1 is explored, assessing its impact on neural network formation and function. Chapter 4 focuses on the design of nanoparticles targeting inflamed brain cells and investigates how Alzheimer’s disease and aging modulate intracerebral nanoparticle transport. Finally, Chapter 5 consolidates the findings from Chapters 2 to 4 and outlines prospective research trajectories
