XAMS-nikhef/amstrax: v1.1.2
1.1.2 / 2021-12-23
Previous release was a consequence of mflierm's clumsiness.
Since release v1.0.2, some things changed, of which the most important is the script that copies data to the stoomboot cluster.
Made a file that automatically copies new data files to stoomboot (#51)
Other merged PRs are:
Add small utility to amstrax for version printing (#48)
Set default to something that is produced (#49)
fix line endings (#53)
Add readthedocs instructions (#67)
A lot of bumped versions in requirements.txt (PR #58 t/m #66)
Fix docs (#68
The origins and the future of NIKHEF
Reviews the ten years leading up to the signing in 1975 of the agreement to establish the Netherlands National Institute for Nuclear and High Energy Physics (NIKHEF). Discusses the first year's work and the programme for 1976-81. NIKHEF has two sections. Section K at Amsterdam contains IKO and the nearly completed 300 MeV linac. Research will begin in 1978 into nuclear structure by means of photon, electron, pion and muon scattering. Section H is to study elementary particles in conjunction with the SPS at CERN and PETRA at Hamburg. (0 refs)
NIKHEF Wiring Control,Tubmatic CRC 461, Demo
Demo of wiring sequences from the Wiring Control system (v10.4) of NIKHEF, piloted from computer. Started with empty tube. Some actions are: 'end plug loaded wire cut', 'wire crimped', 'end plug crimped'. Tension adjustment to 450g
Outer Tracker Module Production at NIKHEF - Quality Assurance
This document describes the quality assurance tests during and after the module production for the outer tracker at NIKHEF. Results are presented for the first 12 modules
VULCAN: Vacuum ultraviolet light characterisation at Nikhef
VULCAN is a tabletop experiment at the Nikhef institute in Amsterdam. The experiment is designed to characterise the optical properties of detector components in the vacuum ultraviolet range, which is especially relevant for noble
liquid detectors. The setup is in the commissioning phase and in these proceedings we show results from some calibration measurements
Construction of the ATLAS ITk End-cap structure at NIKHEF
The ATLAS experiment is planning a complete replacement of its inner detector with a new all-silicon inner tracker for the high luminosity phase of the LHC (HL-LHC). The end-caps of the ATLAS Inner Tracker (ITk) are undergoing construction at NIKHEF (Netherlands)
Electron scattering at NIKHEF with polarized beam and targets
We present the Internal Target Facility of the NIKHEF 900 MeV polarized electron storage ring. We give some results which illustrate the presently unique opportunity offered by this facility to study the spin structure of the nucleon, 2-body and 3-body system by the measurement of spin-dependent electron scattering observables
A disk for the ATLAS SCT end-cap in its testbox at NIKHEF
A disk with silicon sensors for an end-cap of the ATLAS silicon strip detector (SCT) in its testbox at NIKHEF Amsterdam
