    Proses reduksi ukuran batu kapur di PT Semen Baturaja (Persero), Tbk menggunakan crusher jenis hammer crusher. Energi listrik digunakan sebagai sumber energi dari hammer crusher yang didapat dari PLN. Penggunaan listrik pada crusher dipengaruhi oleh ukuran fragmentasi feed dan keefektifan dari crusher tersebut yang dapat dihitung dari nilai kesediaan alat crusher. Penggunaan listrik aktual hammer crusher adalah sebesar 185 kW dengan produksi sebanyak 178.841 ton. Setelah dihitung maka penggunaan listrik yang dipakai untuk mencapai target produksi 200.000 ton adalah sebesar 235,78 kW. Penggunaan listrik ini dinilai belum efektif dikarenakan ukuran fragmentasi yang belum sesuai dan nilai kesediaan alat yang rendah. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan didapatkan rata –rata-ukuran fragmentasi peledakan adalah 53,06 cm dengan distribusi ukuran fragmentasi batuan yang lebih besar dari 80 cm sebesar 16,72%. Persentase ini dinilai masih terlalu besar dikarenakan seharusnya hasil ukuran fragmentasiyang lebih besar dari 80 cm diharapkan dibawah 10%. Efisiensi dari alat juga dinilai masih kecil yaitu sebesar 73,73% yang mengartikan dalam sehari alat tidak bekerja selama rata-rata 3,16 jam yang menyebabkan beban produksi alat per jamnya menjadi semakin besar sehingga menambah penggunaan daya listrik. Hal ini disebabkan oleh adanya hambatan baik mekanis maupun non mekanis yang mengganggu kerja dari alat. Cara yang digunakan untuk mengoptimalkan penggunaan listrik pada hammer crusher adalah dengan mengubah desain geometri peledakan sehingga nantinya akan memperkecil persentase ukuran fragmentasi yang lebih besar dari 80 cm menjadi dibawah 10% dan juga mengatasi hambatan non mekanis dengan cara membangun stockpile baru sehingga dapat meningkatkan keefektifan dari alat.     Harmonization of Green Open Space as Carbon Assimilator for Sustainable Environment of Transportation Sector and Steam Power Plant

    The environment has a function as a provider of raw materials (natural resources), aesthetics value and carbon assimilators. Emissions arising from the impact of activities in handmade environments such as transportation activities and steam power plant (SPP) activities may cause the environment to become unsustainable. The polluted air leads to a deterioration of the quality of both natural and social environment. Harmonization that occurs between green open space as the natural environment, transportation activities and steam power plant as handmade environment, and people as transport users and around SPP as social environment becomes sustainable. Reduced air pollution on the other hand, making the air absorbed by the community around the steam power plant is also better in quality. This makes the community of transportation users and steam power plant as social environment becomes sustainable since the impacts of the derivatives that arise on public health is being reduced. Thus, the harmonization between the three components of the living environment, namely Green Open Space (GOS) as the natural environment, transportation activities and steam power plant as an handmade environment, and the people as transportation users and around SPP as a social environment in the transportation sector and steam power plant

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Indonesia economic development cannot be separated from the role of natural resources, one of the natural resources that currently supports the Indonesian economy is coal. This research was conducted in order to see the prospects for coal mining activities at PT. Cipta Kridatama, site PT. Kuansing Inti Makmur (PT KIM), Bungo Regency, Jambi province through an analysis of management strategies in the form of investment feasibility. The research methodology used is descriptive qualitative in nature referring to quantitative studies, comparative studies (comparisons), and correlational studies. Data collection techniques are carried out by: field research, literature study and secondary data collection such as RKAB of the company. Based on field research, the data obtained included cropline roofs and M4 floor seam, coal strike and dip, overall highwall slope and outcrop area (section). The results of the investment feasibility study were obtained from coal resources based on a stripping ratio (SR) of 1:4.56. From the calculation results, the net present value (NPV) is greater than 0, which is 16,169,241,885, so it can be concluded that this project is considered economical and feasible to mine. The internal rate of return (IRR) is 19.807%, means that PT. Cipta Kridatama was able to return the invested capital with an increase in interest rates reaching 19.807%. Meanwhile, based on the payback period (PBP) calculation, it shows that the time needed for the investment capital to return is 5.6 years, this shows that the payback period is smaller than the project implementation period. The project ratio value (PI)>1 is 3.9537 which means the project is feasible to operate. The calculation has adjusted the discount rate, so the present value (PV) of coal mining PT. Cipta Kridatama of IDR 17,981,921,072.4 according to the discount level. Benefit cost ratio (BCR) value from PT. Cipta Kridatama is 24.66, which means the project is feasible to operate with the profits from the project are greater than the expenses so that the project is acceptable or feasible to continue.Perkembangan ekonomi Indonesia tidak lepas dari peran serta sumberdaya alam, salah satu sumberdaya alam yang saat ini menjadi penopang perekonomian Indonesia adalah batubara. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam rangka melihat prospek kegiatan penambangan batubara di PT. Cipta Kridatama, site PT. Kuansing Inti Makmur (PT KIM), Kabupaten Bungo, provinsi Jambi melalui analisis strategi pengelolaan dalam bentuk kelayakan investasi. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan bersifat kualitatif deskriptif mengacu pada studi kuantitatif, studi komparatif (perbandingan), serta studi korelasional. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara: penelitian lapangan, studi pustaka dan pengumpulan data sekunder seperti RKAB perusahaan. Berdasarkan penelitian lapangan data yang didapatkan antara lain cropline roof dan floor seam M4, strike dan dip batubara, overall slope highwall dan luas singkapan (penampang). Hasil penelitian kelayakan investasi didapatkan dari sumberdaya batubara berdasarkan nisbah pengupasan (SR) sebesar 1:4,56. Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh nilai net present value (NPV) lebih besar dari 0 yaitu sebesar 16.169.241.885, maka dapat disimpulkan proyek ini termasuk ekonomis dan layak tambang. Nilai internal rate of return (IRR) sebesar 19,807%, berarti PT. Cipta Kridatama mampu mengembalikan modal investasi yang ditanam dengan kenaikan suku bunga mencapai 19,807%. Sedangkan berdasarkan perhitungan payback period (PBP) menunjukkan bahwa waktu yang dibutuhkan agar modal investasi kembali yaitu 5,6 tahun, hal tersebut menunjukkan lama waktu pengembalian lebih kecil dari jangka waktu pelaksanaan proyek. Nilai rasio proyek (PI)>1 yaitu sebesar 3,9537 yang berarti proyek layak untuk dioperasikan. Perhitungan telah menyesuaikan tingkat diskon, maka nilai present value (PV) pertambangan batubara PT. Cipta Kridatama sebesar Rp.17.981.921.072,4 sesuai dengan tingkatan diskon. Nilai benefit cost ratio (BCR) dari PT. Cipta Kridatama adalah 24,66 yang berarti proyek layak untuk dioperasikan karena keuntungan dari proyek tersebut lebih besar dari pada pengeluaran sehingga proyek tersebut dapat diterima atau layak dilanjutkan

    Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods

    We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
