Electronic Spy Bug or FM Transmitter is a device designed for purpose of spying or monitoring a selected room in order to gain or collect information secretly. The purpose of spying depends on the person who using it. Some designs of electronic Spy Bug are complicated to be made and some are not. Complicated here means, it has a lot of components in the circuit which cause the size of spy circuit becomes obvious to be seen and not very suitable used in spying. The simple design of spy bug circuit however cannot be sure whether it will function unless it is being made properly. In this project, Electronic Spy Bug was being made based on the wired Spy Bug circuit. This project being simulate using Proteus 8.0 software and the size of the circuit should be a size of thumb-drive. The projects expect to look like as state before. However the result once the project being get through are first is the problem with software where the simulation cannot be run due to lack component model in the software, second the circuit not function well do frequency failure and lastly the size of the circuit are as big as the size of hand-phone charger. Another circuit added is FM Receiver to replace a FM Radio since the range frequency of the Spy Bug circuit not in FM Range which is between 88MHz until 108MHz. From this research, the things found out that affect the changes in frequency are length of the antenna, trimmer capacitor, the number of turns of the coil and the length of the coil

Business environmentalism strategy, competitive advantage and organisational performance in Malaysian hotel industry / Junainah Jaidi

    No full text
As the today’s tourists are becoming increasingly concerned with the environment and environmental products, the management teams within the hotel industry believe that the integration of environment aspects into their business strategies will lead to better organisational performance. Hotel managers believe that the environmental integration is able to create value and competitive advantage. This research, which is grounded in the resource-based view, examined the relationship between business environmentalism strategy (corporate environmentalism and environmental management accounting practices) and organisational performance among Malaysian hotels. This research further examined the mediating role of competitive advantage on the link between environmental business strategy and organisational performance. Employing the simple random technique, data were collected from 122 hotel managers from 3 to 5-star hotels in Malaysia

Nowadays, the uses Internet become more important to all people around the world. Through the Internet, there are many services offered to a public such as online reservation ticket, buying and selling goods and services, advertisement goods and services, etc. House rental services is a services that been offer by the landlords to a house tenants that look out for a house rent. In UiTM Shah Alam, they provide this kind of services to their students that look out for a house rent. Through a manual method, by putting advertisement of house rent at HEP Bulletin Board, college and logbooks. And with the proposed of electronic house rental services (e-HRS) it will help dissemination rental unit information widely through an online services. This research studied on the perception of a landlords and UiTM Students towards the proposed of electronic house rental services (e HRS). As a result, landlords and UiTM students can use e-HRS as another alternative to get rental unit information

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    Get PDF
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Understanding the relative effectiveness of different media for marketing communications has always been challenging. As for Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad, seminars aggressively had been done all over Malaysia; still the impact toward the number of new investors is disappointing. Recently they have organized seminars in Insititut Perguruan Perempuan Melayu (IPPM), Melaka but the results gained also quite disappointed. Thus, in this study we will examine the effectiveness of six marketing communications tools which are personal selling, advertising, sales promotions, sponsorship marketing, publicity and point-of-purchase communications by applying the Hierarchy of Effects Model that were designed by Robert J. Lavidge and Gary A. Steiner in 1961, towards IPPM. Due to low impact on the personal selling for ASB schemes towards IPPM, the researcher identified level of effectiveness of marketing communication tools that had been done factors that will make the messages sent to the audiences more efficiently. For the purpose of this study, descriptive, exploratory and causal research is applied. The researcher also applied self-administered interview to 135 respondents which gone through Stratified Sampling Technique. Moreover, data analysis, cross tabulation, correlation, hypotheses testing and regression gathered through the use of Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS). Finally, the finding of the results concludes that personal selling is the most influence factor to the marketing communications effectiveness, which it is correlated to four other factors which are advertising, sales promotions, sponsorship marketing and publicity

Allocation and sizing of distributed generation (DG) using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) technique for loss minimization: article / Junainah Pardi

Distributed generator (DG) is playing major role to supply energy resources and also for the development of co-generation plant which is absolutely very important in the electric power systems of the near future. The study involved in this project is to determine the optimal allocation and sizing of the DG in order to minimize the losses in the system. Fast Voltage Stability Index (FVSI) technique has been used with the objective to identify the suitable location for the distributed generation in the networks. FVSI is used as the measuring instrument in predicting the sensitive lines which will be used to identify the location for DG installation. Once the locations are determined, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) technique is developed to identify the optimal size of the DG. It is an algorithm that represents the behavior of a flock of birds or a school of fish

    Variations on the Author

“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
