No full textThis paper proposes a new sound rule for Proto-Slavic, according to which *g (from PIE *g, *gw, *gh, and *gwh) was lost before *m. This development was posterior to Winter’s law and the merger of voiced and aspirated stop in Slavic. The operation of the rule is illustrated by new etymologies of four Slavic words: *ama, *jama ‘hole, pit’, *těmę ‘sinciput’, *mąžь ‘husband, man’, and *remy ‘leather belt’
Near-infrared spectroscopy of 1999 JU(3), the target of the Hayabusa 2 mission
Get PDFContext. Primitive asteroids contain complex organic material and ices relevant to the origin of life on Earth. These types of asteroids are the target of several sample-return missions to be launched in the next years. 1999 JU(3) is the target of the Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency\u27s Hayabusa 2 mission. Aims. 1999 JU(3) has been previously identified as a C-class asteroid. Spectroscopic observations at longer wavelengths will help to constrain its composition. Methods. We obtained spectroscopy of 1999 JU(3) from 0.85 to 2.2 mu m, with the 3.6 m Telescopio Nazionale Galileo using the low-resolution mode of the Near Infrared Camera Spectrograph. Results. We present a near-infrared spectrum of 1999 JU(3) from 0.85 to 2.2 mu that is consistent with previously published spectra and with its C-type classification. Conclusions. Our spectrum confirms the primitive nature of 1999 JU(3) and its interest as target of the sample-return mission Hayabusa 2
Impact of Internal Migration in the Rar��muri Community in Ciudad Ju��rez, M��xico
No full textIn the 1990s, Rar��muri families migrated to Ciudad Ju��rez from the Sierra Tarahumara due to the degradation of the ecosystem, drug trafficking, and government corruption that affected the community. To understand the impact that immigration has had on this community, I work on three different articles. The first study examines how migration has transformed gender/power relations. Using gender and migration theory, paired with a transnational feminist conceptual framework, I analyze how the Rar��muri communal life, worldview, usos y costumbres, holidays, and jobs are gendered and how these elements are transformed in Ciudad Ju��rez to readapt them to the demands of urban life. According to the Rar��muri worldview, women are better adapted to physical and emotional pain because women are born with four souls and men with three. This strength transforms women in the city, where they take on the roles of community leaders and heads of the family.
The second research aims to understand how the Rar��muri in Ciudad Ju��rez (re)construct their social identity by examining photographs taken by Rar��muris. Using visual sociology paired with feminist ethnography, I discern social identification processes by the Rar��muri in Ciudad Ju��rez. I find that downtown Ciudad Ju��rez is a place that increases the experiences of discrimination. However, living in Colonia Tarahumaras, Kil��metro 30 and being part of the artesano/as help them mitigate the exclusion and reconstruct their social identity by creating solidarity and pride obtained through community work.
The last paper aims to understand the vestiges of the colonial/modern [cis] gender system in the life of a transgender Rar��muri woman, Karen Paola, using life history methodology. Karen Paola���s life history demonstrates the ways one transgender woman challenged the vestiges of the colonial/modern [cis] gender system. Karen Paola and I identified a critical moment in her life: When she develops a new self-perception and gender transition. Her family and community acceptance are key to making her feel secure and without fear of showing herself for who she is, without a mask. Participating in the LGBTQIA (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender/sexual/, queer, intersexual, and asexual) movements enabled her to achieve her goal of being the woman she wanted to be

NIVELES DE AFLATOXINA M1 EN LECHE CRUDA Y PASTEURIZADA COMERCIALIZADA EN LA ZONA METROPOLITANA DE GUADALAJARA, M�XICO
No full textEntre los indicadores de calidad higi�nico sanitaria de la leche en M�xico, se encuentra el nivel de contaminaci�n con aflatoxina M1 (AFM1), proveniente de animales que han consumido alimento contaminado con aflatoxina B1 (AFB1). Los tratamientos t�rmicos como la pasteurizaci�n, generalmente no disminuyen la concentraci�n de AFM1, por lo que en el presente trabajo se estudi� la presencia de AFM1 en leche cruda de vaca de 10 centros de acopio (n=50) y 7 marcas de leche pasteurizada (n=84) comercializadas en la zona metropolitana de Guadalajara, Jalisco, M�xico. La determinaci�n de AFM1 se realiz� mediante un juego de reactivos tipo ELISA competitivo- directo (Agraquant� Aflatoxina M1, Romer Labs). El an�lisis estad�stico se llev� a cabo mediante una prueba de ANOVA de una sola v�a con el programa Sigma Stat 3.0. Se detect� AFM1 en el 100% de las muestras estudiadas, con niveles en el rango de < 0.005 a 0.100 �g/L y de < 0.005 a 0.637 �g/L en leche cruda y pasteurizada respectivamente. El 18.6 % (25/134) de las muestras superaron el LMR establecido por la Uni�n Europea (0.05 �g/kg), present�ndose porcentajes en leches cruda y pasteurizada de 0.7% (1/134) y 17.9% (24/134) respectivamente, pero s�lo el 0.7 % (1/134) excedi� el l�mite de AFM1 establecido para M�xico en la NOM-243-SSA1-2010, que es de 0.5 �g/kg. Se observaron diferencias estad�sticamente significativas (p<0.05) entre los meses analizados, con los niveles mayores en el mes de diciembre, pero no se encontraron diferencias entre centros de acopio (leche cruda) y tampoco entre marcas de leche pasteurizada
M-commerce: estratégias para difusão e implantação

Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia de Produção.O trabalho apresentado a seguir tem por objetivo estudar estratégias para a difusão do M-Commerce, uma variação do E-Commerce (comércio eletrônico) onde o comércio é feito usando aparelhos conectados a redes sem fio e, por isto mesmo, móveis, o que justifica o "M" da sigla. Neste trabalho primeiramente são lançadas as definições do comércio eletrônico, mantendo-se o escopo do trabalho no segmento Business-to-Consumer. Em seguida, o trabalho fala brevemente sobre a economia digital e o marketing digital. Logo após, as tecnologias que envolvem o M-Commerce são discutidas, se dividindo em três componentes básicos: tecnologias de comunicação (WAP, Bluetooth, redes sem fio por pacotes), tecnologias de troca de informação (linguagens) e tecnologias de identificação e localização do usuário. Após esta discussão, são apresentados produtos potenciais e o panorama tecnológico atual, no Brasil e no mundo. No capítulo seguinte fala-se da difusão de inovações, usando principalmente o modelo de Rogers (1995). Neste capítulo descreve-se os elementos que compõem a difusão de inovações (a inovação, os canais de comunicação, o tempo e o sistema social) e são levantados os fatores que devem ser levados em conta na difusão de uma nova tecnologia (econômicos, tecnológicos e culturais). Por fim, são levantadas possíveis construções estratégicas para a difusão do M-Commerce. Para este fim, é usado principalmente o modelo de construção de estratégias de Sawyer (1986), baseado nos três fundamentos de uma estratégia (produto, mercado e negócio), abordados à luz do M-Commerce e da difusão de inovações. Como resultado, chega-se às considerações mais importantes que devem ser tomadas para que o M-Commerce possa crescer e se difundir, bem como aos desafios que terá de enfrentar para que isto ocorra
