No full textDisturbances or modifications in the use of the land in the dry forests of the Nina Rumi area can unbalance the ecosystem, generating alterations in the vegetal composition. On the other hand, a considerable portion of the total area of this rod forest has been used for various purposes, mainly migratory agriculture and the cultivation of fast-growing fruit species, such as Inga edulis. The general objective of this work is to quantify the carbon stored in soil and carbon in necromass of Inga edulis “guaba” trees of 2, 5 and 6 years in dry rods, Nina Rumi, Loreto, Peru, 2022. The methodology used in the field was to obtain 5 samples of necromass of 1 m2 and 5 pits of 30 cm * 30 cm * 30 cm deep under the Inga edulis trees and to determine the organic carbon was by the calcination method the values in t/ha /anus. The results revealed that the highest stored necromass was in 2-year-old Inga edulis trees with 7.47 t/ha/year. In addition, it was identified that the carbon stored in the necromass and soil was 3.735 t/ha/year. and 20,418 t/ha. respectively, The analysis of variance between soil carbon and necromass carbon using the Kruskal-Wallis test (p) = 0000, indicates that the difference is highly significant with a confidence level of 95% (p) = 0 .05, confirming the validity of the proposed hypothesis.Las modificaciones en el uso del suelo de los bosques de Varillal seco de la zona de Nina Rumi pueden desequilibrar el ecosistema, generando alteraciones en la composición vegetal. Por otro lado, una considerable porción de la superficie total de este bosque de Varillal se ha destinado a diversos fines, destacándose principalmente la agricultura migratoria y el cultivo de especies frutales de rápido crecimiento, como Inga edulis. El objetivo general de este trabajo es cuantificar el carbono almacenado en suelo y carbono en necromasa de árboles de Inga edulis “guaba” de 2, 5 y 6 años en Varillal seco, Nina Rumi, Loreto, Perú, 2022. La metodología utilizada en el campo fue, obtener 5 muestras de necromasa de 1 m2 y de 5 calicatas de 30 cm * 30 cm * 30 cm de profundidad debajo de los árboles de Inga edulis y para determinar el carbono orgánico, se utilizó el método de calcinación los valores en t/ha/año. Los resultados revelaron que la mayor necromasa almacenada fué en arboles de Inga edulis de 2 años de edad con 7,47 t/ha/año. Además, se identificó que el carbono almacenado en la necromasa y suelo fue de 3,735 t/ha/año y 20,418 t/ha. Respectivamente; El análisis de varianza entre el carbono del suelo y el carbono de la necromasa mediante la prueba de Kruskal-Wallis (p)= 0000, indica que la diferencia es altamente significativa con un nivel de confianza del 95% (p)=0,05, confirmando la valides de la hipótesis planteada

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
