Chemical evaluation against aphids on long bean (Vigna sesquipedalis) / Firdhaus Jamalullail
No full textLong bean is a minor crop and it is vigorous climbing plant that can reach 9 to 12 feets. Proper stake was prepared for them to climb and hold. This plant is susceptible to many pests for example black bean aphids, spider mites, nematodes, and mosaic viruses. One of the popular pests for this plant is aphids. This research was conducted to find out a control strategy of aphids attack. Experiments were undertaken in the farm of UiTM Jasin. There were several treatments used namely water, lmidacloprid (Confidor) and Dinotefuran (Oshin). Water were used as control (treatment 1), Imidacloprid ( treatment 2) and Dinotefuran (treatment 3). All the treatments were replicated four times. Results indicated that both treatments gave significant difference in mean number of aphids compared to control, however, lmidacloprid (Confidor 200 SL) was found as the most effective in controlling aphids with low number of aphids compared with other treatments. After two weeks insecticide application, number of aphids started to increase because all the treatments have lost their efficacy. As conclusion, the result showed that Imidacloprid was the most effective in controlling number population of aphid compared with other treatments

Penggunaan penyaman udara adalah sangat meluas seperti di rumah-rumah, hospital, kedai, pejabat, kilang, pengangkutan udara, laut dan darat. Tetapi ada sebahagian penyaman udara diperlukan tanpa menepati keadaan keselesaan manusia seperti di kilang-kilang kain dan percetakan, komputer, tempat menyimpan makanan, tempat menyimpan dan memeriksa bahan-bahan sensitif dan sebagainya. Bagi penyaman udara, suhu dan kelembapan memainkan peranan yang penting. Kedua-duanya jika diturunkan nilainya akan mendinginkan keadaan ruangan dan jika dilakukan sebaliknya akan memanaskan keadaan ruangan. Tetapi j ika kita hanya menurunkan nilai suhu tanpa pengurangan kelembapan, kita masih sukar untuk mendapatkan keadaan keselesaan dan seandainya kita hanya menurunkan kelembapan sahaja tanpa menurunkan suhu, keadaan yang sama akan juga diperolehi

Get PDFThis study aims to determine the improvement of PAI learning achievement through STAD type cooperative learning in class XII science 1 students of SMA Negeri 1 Sakra in 2019/2020 Academic Year. This Classroom Action Research is carried out by implementing Jigsaw type cooperative learning in order to improve the quality of the learning process that helps teachers carry out PAI learning activities taught by maximizing the active role of students, especially the knowledge they have and how they are applied in daily life. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was carried out in 2 cycles, and the results of the actions that have been carried out have been proven to be able to improve student learning outcomes / achievements in terms of classical student mastery learning in the first cycle by 73%, which could increase to 97% in the cycle II and in terms of the average value of evaluation results 71 in the second cycle of 80, this means there is an increase of 10%. From the results of this class action research also showed an increase in the level of student learning activities from 3 categories Active Enough in the first cycle to 3.6 Active categories, Active categories in the second cycle to 4.1 Very Active categories

No full textTDW Group is a holding company founded by Tung Desem Waringin who is known as: The Best Speaker in Indonesia according to Marketing Magazine. Business leaders who have employees with diverse backgrounds, ages, cultures, knowledge, and experiences need an effective way to communicate with them. The interpretive approach is adopted from a practical orientation. The purpose of this study is to interpret behavior in detail by conducting direct observations of opinions and ideas that are valued (immanent value) as indicated by the absence of objections and interruptions when participants share experiences and other participants are actively involved in writing conclusions through the comments column. Through qualitative research with the triangulation method, the data analysis process uses NVivo. The final result of this study found an effective corporate culture communication process, easy to understand and embedded into work habits. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that participants are encouraged to involve themselves (self-determination) because they feel invited (to invite), involved (to enfold), their ideas are valued (meaningful) and listened to (to listen)
