No full textA régi növekedési elméletről az endogén technikai változásra való áttérés az 1990-es években szükségessé tette a technikai változás, a tudásterjedés és a gazdasági növekedés szerepének újragondolását. A tudástermelési függvényt használva Adam Jaffe volt az első, aki azonosította, hogy az egyetemi kutatás milyen mértékben hat a kereskedelmi tevékenységekre. Maryann Feldman kiterjesztette a tudástermelési függvényt az innovatív tevékenységekre, és beépítette a regionális tudás-infrastruktúra szempontjait. Varga Attila a Jaffe–Feldman-féle megközelítést azzal bővítette ki, hogy a helyi tudásterjedés pontosabb mérésére összpontosított városi szinten. Varga a tudásterjedés kérdését explicit térbeli ökonometriai perspektívából közelítette meg. Cutaneous presentation of ALK-positive anaplastic large cell lymphoma following insect bites: evidence for an association in 5 cases.

Skin involvement is frequent in ALK-positive anaplastic large cell lymphomas. The role of an insect bite as a triggering event has been postulated but not well documented.
DESIGN AND METHODS:
We retrospectively investigated five cases of ALK-positive anaplastic large cell lymphoma who presented with skin lesions occurring after an insect bite. Biopsies were immunostained with antibodies against CD30, ALK, T- and B-cell antigens.
RESULTS:
Persistent skin lesions developed after solitary insect bites in three patients and after multiple bites in two. Regional lymphadenopathy developed within weeks after the bite in three cases. In four cases the correct diagnosis was delayed due to misinterpretation of the findings as a reactive infiltrate in the skin (n=2) or lymph nodes (n=2); all cases subsequently showed small numbers of cells with nuclear and cytoplasmic staining for ALK. The final diagnoses were lymphohistiocytic variant (n=3) and composite common/small cell type (n=2) anaplastic large cell lymphoma. The patients were treated and three were alive at the last follow-up. Two patients died, one of pneumonia and the other of disseminated disease.
CONCLUSIONS:
In these cases the sequence of events between the insect bites and the occurrence of both skin lesions and satellite lymphadenopathy suggest a direct relationship between the bite and the presentation with anaplastic large cell lymphoma. We postulate that insect bite-associated antigens could result in an influx of T lymphocytes, some bearing the t(2;5). The subsequent release of cytokines at the site of the bite could act as a 'second hit', eliciting activation of the latter cells, which would then express the oncogenic NPM-ALK protein and undergo uncontrolled proliferation

Estudio del revenido de fundiciones mediante el parámetro de Hollomon-Jaffe
No full text[ES] En este trabajo se ha estudiado el descenso de dureza tras un revenido de fundiciones CGI endurecidas mediante tratamiento térmico. Para ello se han endurecido mediante temple en distintos medios tres grupos de probetas, alcanzando cada grupo un nivel de dureza distinto. Las probetas has sido posteriormente sometidas a revenido a distintas temperaturas y tiempos. Los valores finales de dureza y el descenso de dureza se han analizado mediante el parámetro de Hollomon-Jaffe. También se ha estudiado la evolución de la microestructura para las distintas durezas obtenidas. Una vez se ha comprobado la aplicabilidad del parámetro de Hollomon-Jaffe, se ha ajustado una ecuación que permite obtener la dureza final tras el revenido en función de la inicial y el parámetro citado.Fernández Antoni, R. No full textEste artículo analiza la novela Author, Author (2004) de David Lodge como ejemplo de bioficción neo-victoriana centrada en una celebridad, en este caso concreto, Henry James. El género forma parte del renacimiento Victoriano actual que afecta a los estudios culturales en su conjunto. Mi argumento central es que la novela de Lodge constituye una respuesta a las ansiedades culturales actuales, en particular a las que se refieren a la crisis identitaria y autoría literaria, así como a la pérdida del aura artística de Walter Benjamin, sublimándolas a través de los traumas de finales del siglo XIX. La elección de James, como demuestra el artículo, no es casual. Es el último representante de un mundo perdido en el que el aura aún tenía un espacio; el ser humano en crisis y traumatizado porque no encaja en un status quo nuevo.This paper delves into David Lodge’s Author, Author (2004) as an example of neo-Victorian celebrity biofiction, more concretely on Henry James. The genre belongs to the wave of Victorian revival in current literature which also affects cultural studies in general. My main contention is that Lodge’s novel responds to current cultural anxieties, particularly the crisis of identity and authorship and the end of Walter Benjamin’s concept of aura, by sublimating them into late-nineteenth-century traumata. The choice of James is, the article argues, not casual. He represents the redeeming figure of a lost auratic world; the human in crisis, traumatized because he does not fit in the new status quo
