Hlavním cílem této práce je shromáždit a utřídit informace o Jaroslavu Zemanovi, který je významnou osobností české dechové hudby. Jaroslav Zeman je dirigent a skladatel, který dlouhá léta působil ve vojenských hudbách. Svou vojenskou kariéru završil jako náčelník Vojenské konzervatoře v Roudnici nad Labem. Jaroslav Zeman je autorem velkého množství skladeb a také úprav skladeb jiných autorů.The main goal of this work is to collect and sort information about Jaroslav Zeman. Important personalities of Czech wind music. Jaroslav Zeman is a conductor and composer who has worked in military music for many years. He completed his military career as chief of the Military Conservatory in Roudnice nad Labem. Jaroslav Zeman is the author of a large number of compositions as well as adaptations of compositions by other authors

Cílem bakalářské práce je představit spisovatele a dobrodruha Jiřího Zemana. Nejprve je popsán jeho život, což nebyl lehký úkol, poněvadž je spisovatel mimo Českou republiku. V rámci portrétu je zmíněna spisovatelova největší vášeň, téma přežití v divoké přírodě. Dále práce obsahuje soupis Zemanovy tvorby vydané na našem území a knih, které měly být vydány, ale kvůli neshodám s nakladatelstvím se tak nestalo. Některá Zemanova díla jsou blíže charakterizována a je upozorněno na autobiografické prvky. V závěru je spisovatel Jiří Zeman zařazen do širšího literárního kontextu.Katedra českého jazyka a literaturyObhájenoThe purpose of the seminar paper is to introduce a writer and an adventurer Jiří Zeman. At first his life is described, which was not an easy task because the writer lives abroad. There is mentioned author's biggest passion, the theme of survival in wild nature within the work. Further, the work contains the list of Zeman's writings which were published in our country and books, that were supposed to be published but due to disagreements with the publisher they weren't. Some of Zeman's writings are described closer and the autobiographical elements are pointed out. In the conclusion the writer Jiří Zeman is classified into wider literary context
Presidential Speeches of Miloš Zeman
Miloš Zeman as the first directly elected president is among the most significant personalities of the Czech political scene and he is also one of the most capable speakers of the post-communist era. Public speeches are almost the only medium for communication between the president and the public. The thesis aims to analyse the presidential speeches of Miloš Zeman. The relevant period for this research was set to 8.3. 2013-31.12. 2014. The author analysed the speeches in terms of structure, length of sentences, figures of speech used, vocabulary, argumentation, manipulative and persuasive techniques and recurring themes. In the end of the paper, the author also compared Czech media's interpretation of the speeches with foreign media's interpretation

Karel Zeman - activity and creation
Ve své bakalářské práci mapuji svébytnou tvorbu legendárního filmaře zlínských ateliérů Karla Zemana, zmiňuji jeho jednotlivé díla, kdy se zaměřuji na jejich obsahovou náplň i samotnou realizaci. V části své práce rozebírám Zemanovy trikové postupy, stejně jako pra-meny jeho inspirací pro tvorbu. Poslední kapitolu věnuji filmovému řemeslu dnešní doby a zamýšlím se nad vlivem Karla Zemana na tuto pokrokovou éru. Uvádím jeho domácí i zahraniční úspěchy a snažím se vyslovit k Zemanově umělecké osobě jako k výjimečnému tvůrci všech dob, který je letos navíc významný svým stým jubileem.In my bachelor work I am concerned with the original creation of legendary filmmaker Ka-rel Zeman, that worked in Zlín art studios. I mention his individual works and I concentrate on their contens and realization. In a part work I analyse Zeman's film trick procedures, as well as his inspiration for the creation. In the last chapter I write about movie profession of present and I speculate about the influence of Karel Zeman on this progressive era. Experimental evaluation of aluminothermic welds
The article presents a study of the mechanical processes occurring during the aluminother-mic reaction using experimental methods (strain gauges, digital image correlation, thermography,scanning electron microscopy, profilometry). The aluminothermic reaction is a highly efficient weldingmethod due to its exothermic behaviour, however, it places considerable demands not only on thewelding technique, but also on the capabilities of the experimental methods used - these limitationsare also discussed in the article. The aluminothermic reaction is associated with the formation of alocalised heat source with a time evolution dictated by the technological procedure, which manifestsitself in heat propagation to the surrounding weld material. The unequal evolution of the temperaturefield is the fundamental cause of the appearance of the heat affected zone or local deformations orsurface curvature, which was the focus of the experimental methods deployed above and the results ofwhich are shown in the article
Non-equilibrium Strain and Elastic Hysteresis in Static and Dynamic Experiments in Sandstones
The physical origin of hysteretic elasticity in consolidated granular media is still debated. We show that hysteresis in quasi-static experiments (slow loading/unloading cycles) and dynamic acoustoelastic testing (fast perturbation of the sample obtained by a propagating or standing wave) can be seen as a consequence of slow dynamics, which also induces elastic anisotropy due to nonlinearity. Both conditioning (i.e. the evolution of the elastic properties towards a non-equilibrium steady state when a load is applied) and relaxation (i.e. the slow recovery of the original elastic properties when the strain is reduced) are described as the consequence of a non-equilibrium strain generated in the material by the applied load. Experiments performed span over five orders of magnitude in strain (from 10-7 to 10-2) and we demonstrate the proposed model captures well the observed phenomenology in the full strain range considered
