Sintesis Yttria-Stabilized-Zirconia Dari Zirkon Lokal Sebagai Material Elektrolit Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC)
This research was done by using zirconia (ZrO2) that has been synthesized from the concentrate of zircon sand. Zircon sand is a side product of mining in Bangka Island, Indonesia. Zirconia was synthesized by using caustic fusion method of single filtration. Zirconia was doped with yttria to form Yttria-Stabilized-Zirconia (YSZ). Yttrium ions that were doped into the synthesized ZrO2 have various composition, i.e. 4.5%, 8%, and 10%. The purpose of this research is to understand the effect of composition on the crystal structure, conductivity characteristic and the conductivity value. The diffraction pattern was completed with Le Bail refinement that used to understand the crystal structure. Refinement result showed that the prepared ZrO2 presents in two phases which are monoclinic and tettragonal zirconia. Meanwhile, the addition of yttrium ions produced Yttria-Stabilized-Zirconia (YSZ) with cubic structure. However, the synthesized YSZ did not axisted as a single phase but it presents as 3 phases, i.e. monoclinic, tetragonal and cubic. Yttrium addition has changed the cell parameters of crystal. It represents that Y3+ (Yttrium ions) has entered ZrO2 structure. It is supported by the Fourier plots. The various composition of YSZ showed different morphology and different particle size. While, the greatest ionic conductivity provides by 8YSZ, i.e. 2.74x10-4 S.cm-1 at 700 oC
PEMBUATAN PEMBALUT LUKA KILAT (KITOSAN ASAM AKRILAT)
Limbah perikanan yang berupa cangkang udang dan kepiting dapat
dimanfaatkan di bidang kesehan sebagi bahan pembuatan pembalut luka. Senyawa
yang terkandung dalam cangkang udang dan kepiting salah satunya adalah kitin.
Kitin yang diasetilasi akan menghasilkan senyawa kitosan. Kitosan mempunyai sifat
anti bakteri sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pembuatan pembalut luka.
Modifikasi pembalut luka ini dapat dibuat dari hidrogel. Hidrogel adalah salah satu
material sintesis yang diolah berdasarkan pemanfaatan kitosan dari kulit udang yang
digabungkan dengan asam akrilat menjadi hidrogel kitosan-AA(Asam Akrilat)
sebagai bahan pembuatan pembalut luka. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk
memanfaatkan kitosan dari cangkang udang dan asam akrilat sebagai hidrogel film
untuk bahan pembuatan pembalut luka dan mengkaji pembuatan hidrogel asam
akrilat dengan kitosan serta mengetahui pengaruh hidrogel asam akrilat dengan
kitosan sebagai anti bakteri. Hal ini berdasarkan persediaan alat medis yang berupa
pembalut luka dengan sifat anti bakterinya yang belum maksimal. Hidrogel kitosan
asam akrilat mempunyai sifat dengan daya serap air yang baik, sebagai anti bakteri,
dan membentuk supersorben dengan kinerja yang prima pada pembalut luka.
Pembuatan hidrogel kitosan-asam akrilat dapat dimodifikasi dengan inisiator benzoil
peroksida menjadi hidrogel berbentuk film. Pembuatan hidrogel kitosan-PAA (poli
asam akrilat) dilakukan dengan metode grafting pada kitosan yang direaksikan
dengan asam akrilat (CH2CHCO2H) dan asam sulfat (H2SO4). Campuran larutan
dipanaskan pada suhu 70 ºC selama 1 jam dengan pengadukan. Selanjutnya campuran
kitosan-AA kering ditambah inisiator benzoil peroksida dan pelarut akuades. Larutan
campuran ini dipolimerisasi selama 4 jam dengan suhu pemanasan 65 ºC
(Tanodekaew, 2004). Kemudian hasil dari proses polimerisasi ini dikeringkan
sehingga didapatkan hidrogel kitosan-PAA berbentuk film (lembaran). Film ini
dianalisis dengan menggunakan spektroskopi FTIR, XRD, UV-Vis, TG-DTA, dan
untuk mengetahui morfologi dari film hirogel kitosan-asam akrilat menggunakan

The Composite of ZrO2-TiO2 Produced from Local Zircon Sand Used as A Photocatalyst for The Degradation of Methylene Blue in A Single Batik Dye Wastewater
In this research, a composite of ZrO2-TiO2 was used as a photocatalyst in the degradation of dye wastewater. The dye waste water is a single Methylene Blue, MB, wastewater from Batik industry. Meanwhile, the ZrO2 was prepared from zircon sand founded from Bangka Island, Indonesia. The composite was prepared at various weight ratio and heat treated at 500 oC. The result shows that the purity of ZrO2 from zircon sand is only 66.46 %. However, the addition of ZrO2 into TiO2 able to increase the photocatalytic activity proven by 88.75 % degradation of MB at a ZrO2-TiO2 weight ratio of 1:1. The result is higher than the degradation with anatase TiO2; that is only 62.67 %. The kinetics study found that the photocatalytic degradation of MB with single TiO2 has the rate constant of 1.85x10-2 minutes-1. Meanwhile, the rate constant of the MB degradation with the composite ZrO2-TiO2 is 16.73x10-2 minutes-1

MOBILE-BASED EDUCATIONAL GAME FOR WASTE SORTING INTRODUCTION USING THE MULTIMEDIA DEVELOPMENT LIFE CYCLE (MDLC) METHOD
The increasing population of Indonesia has led to a rise in household waste generation. According to data from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK), Indonesia produces approximately 21 million tons of waste annually, with 34.29% (7.2 million tons) being poorly managed, resulting in environmental pollution. The lack of public awareness, especially among children, in waste sorting exacerbates this issue. Research indicates that 56.3% of students have limited knowledge of waste types, and 37.5% have not yet implemented waste sorting at school or home. To address this problem, the author developed an educational waste-sorting game using Construct 2. This study employs the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method, which consists of six stages: concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. The test results show that the application achieved an average score of 78.57% among SD Muhammadiyah students, 80% in media testing, and 100% in material testing, with most respondents providing positive feedback. The application was successfully designed and tested, demonstrating that its features align with user needs. Hopefully, this educational game can be an innovative solution to raise children's awareness of the importance of waste sorting from an early age

electrical conductivity of various YSZ composition, i.e., 4.5; 8.0 and 10% mol yttrium in ZrO2. The ZrO2
powder used was synthesized from zircon sand, a side product of tin mining
plant, Bangka Island, Indonesia. Structural investigation on the prepared YSZ
found that yttrium ion doping has changed the crystal structure of ZrO2
from monoclinic to cubic, even though the
monoclinic and tetragonal are also still exist.
The Y3+ doping changed the cell parameter of ZrO2
crystal. It indicates that the Y3+ entered into the ZrO2
structure and produced vacancy sites. The highest ionic conductivity is
provided by 8% mol Yttrium doping or
8YSZ, i.e., 2.74×10-4 S.cm-1
at 700oC with an activation energy
of 0.741 eV
Komunikasi Antarbudaya: Akulturasi Bahasa dalam Masyarakat Pendalungan Kabupaten Jember
This study aims to determine the acculturation of inter-ethnic Javanese language and ethnic Madurese in Jember regency. This study uses qualitative research methods in descriptive form. The author raises the theme of acculturation Pendalungan culture is based on observations in the community of Pendalungan Jember which uses two languages at once when communicating. This uniqueness is the attraction of this new culture to be studied. Javanese culture and Madurese culture that merge into one and form a new culture gives color to cultural diversity in Indonesia. This unique Pendalungan dialect is only found in Jember Regency. The problem in this research is how the acculturation of Javanese language and Madurese language in Pendalungan culture, Factors that influence the occurrence of acculturation of Javanese and Madurese languages in Pendalungan culture, obstacles to the acculturation of Javanese and Madurese languages in Pendalungan culture. The results of this study indicate that the acculturation of Javanese and Madurese languages occurs due to migration of residents from other regions to Jember Regency. The cause of the acculturation of Javanese and Madurese languages in Jember is due to historical factors, social and economic contacts. Umi Dachlan sang Ekspresionis Abstrak
This research This research entitled "Umi Dachlan the Abstract Expressionist" raises the issue of Umi Dachlan's journey in pursuing education and art during her lifetime and how her role contributed to advancing art in Indonesia. This research aims to find out the life background, role in the arts and the development of early works to the final works that have been produced by Umi Dachlan. And in collecting research data, the author used a qualitative approach with document study techniques in the form of books, journals, PDFs or e-books.Apart from that, based on research, the following results were obtained: Umi Dachlan is a talented artist, she began to show her talent for interest in art since childhood through her love of drawing. She played an important role in the world of art as the first female lecturer at the Bandung Institute of Technology. Umi Dachlan has received many awards not only from within the country, such as the Best Painting award: Wendy Sorensen Memorial Award, New York, United States. Umi Dachlan has also worked as a co-designer and muralist for various institutions. Umi Dachlan was one of the early and pioneering Indonesian female artists who followed in the footsteps of Emiria Soenassa, along with Erna Pirous, wife of A.D. Pirous, Farida Srihadi, Srihadi's wife, Heyi Ma'mun, Kartika Affandi, daughter of the main Indonesian artist Affandi, Rita Widagdo and Nunung WS. His works have been auctioned by major international auction houses, including Bonhams, Christie's and Sotheby's. Umi Dachlan's early work was influenced by traditional Batik paintings and tapestries, textile works and landscape paintings. As in the work Untitled (1997), until after the death of his mentor Ahmad Sadali in 1987, he developed his own style. Penelitian ini berjudul “Umi Dachlan sang Ekspresionis Abstrak” ini mengangkat masalah mengenai bagaimana perjalanan Umi Dachlan dalam menempuh pendidikan dan kesenian pada semasa hidupnya dan bagaimana peran beliau memberikan kontribusi dalam memajukan kesenian di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui latar belakang kehidupan, peran dalam bidang kesenian dan perkembangan awal karya hingga karya – karya akhir yang telah dihasilkan oleh Umi Dachlan. Dan pada pengumpulan data penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik studi dokumen berupa buku, jurnal, pdf ataupun e-book. Selain itu Berdasarkan penelitian, diperoleh hasil berikut: Umi Dachlan seorang seniman yang berbakat, ia mulai menunjukkan bakat ketertarikannya pada seni sejak kecil melalui kegemarannya menggambar. Dia berperan penting dalam dunia kesenian sebagai dosen wanita pertama di Institut Teknologi Bandung. Umi Dachlan banyak mendapatkan penghargaan yang tidak hanya dari dalam negeri saja, seperti penghargaan Best Painting: Wendy Sorensen Memorial Award, New York, Amerika Serikat. Umi Dachlan juga pernah bekerja sebagai co-desainer dan muralis untuk berbagai institusi. Umi Dachlan adalah salah satu seniman perempuan Indonesia awal dan perintis yang mengikuti jejak Emiria Soenassa, bersama dengan Erna Pirous, istri A.D. Pirous, Farida Srihadi, istri Srihadi, Heyi Ma'mun, Kartika Affandi, putri Artis utama Indonesia Affandi, Rita Widagdo dan Nunung WS. Karya-karyanya telah dilelang oleh rumah-rumah lelang besar Internasional, termasuk Bonhams, Christie's dan Sotheby's. Karya awal Umi Dachlan dipengaruhi oleh lukisan Batik tradisional dan permadani, karya tekstil dan lukisan pemandangan. Seperti pada karya Untitled (1997), Hingga setelah kematian mentornya Ahmad Sadali pada tahun 1987, ia mengembangkan gayanya sendiri.
