PERENCANAAN STRUKTUR GEDUNG HOTEL ROYAL ISNIN 10 LANTAI MENGGUNAKAN METODE SISTEM GANDA DI KOTA SURABAYA
Surabaya membutuhkan tempat tinggal sementara seperti hotel, untuk keperluan wisata maupun pekerjaan bagi masyarakat dari dalam atau luar Kota Surabaya, dan hotel Royal Isnin didesain untuk memenuhi hal tersebut. Gedung Hotel Royal Isnin terdiri dari 10 lantai dan atap, lokasi gedung berada di wilayah gempa 5. Struktur yang digunakan dalam perencanaan adalah beton bertulang dengan menggunakan sistem ganda (dual system). Perhitungan beban gempa pada gedung menggunakan analisis statik ekuivalen. Perencanaan gedung mengacu pada SNI 2847:2013, SNI 1726:2012, dan SNI 1727:2013. Analisa gaya-gaya dalam struktur menggunakan SAP 2000, sedangkan rasio penulangan pada kolom, dinding geser, dan sloof menggunakan PCA Coloumn.Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh pembagian gaya yang diterima oleh dinding geser dengan SRPM sudah memenuhi ketentuan SNI 1726:2012 pasal 7.2.5.1 yaitu SRPM menerima lebih besar atau sama dengan 25 persen dari total gaya yang terjadi dan dinding geser lebih kecil sama dengan 75 persen dari total gaya yang terjadi. Tebal dinding geser 30 cm dengan tulangan horisontal 81D25, tulangan longitudinal 86D25, dan tulangan elemen pembatas 7D12. Pondasi Dinding Geser menggunakan 49 buah tiang pancang dengan kedalaman 20 m, pile cap ukuran 900 x 900 x 200 cm dengan tulangan arah sumbu X adalah 41D32 dan tulangan arah sumbu Y adalah 47D32 sudah mampu menerima gaya yang bekerja dan telah memenuhi syarat geser pons sesuai pasal 11.11.2.1 SNI 2847:2013. This project is about a microprocessor based digital clock. The digital clock comprises of two stepper motors for the movement of hour's and minute's hand, and a LED display for seconds. Both of the hands are located at the same axis while the led display is made by using four 16 bits decoders to show 60 outputs. Since the digital clock used minutes and hours hand to show the time it seems just like an ordinary mechanical clock, except for the seconds display where it use LEDs. Unlike a mechanical clock where there is a lot of gears involves for the movements of the hands, this digital clock has only two gears. In another words the complexity of a mechanical clock has been simplify by using a microprocessor. Another advantage of using a microprocessor is that some intel ligence can be given to the system. For example the motor use might not be exactly 1 degree of movement for 1 pulse, in this project the motors used give out 1.8 degree of movements for every 1 pulse. Since the number of degree are not equal to the number of pulse, error in movements can not be avoided

In this era, rivers are an important aspect in an ecosystem. This is because rivers are the main source for humans to get clean water. Despite environmental regulations that protect the quality of the river, solid waste in the form of trash, litter and garbage often ends up in these surface waters. Currently, over 23,000 tonnes of waste are produced each day in Malaysia. However, this amount is expected to rise to 30,000 tonnes by the year 2020. The amount of solid waste generated continues to increase due to the increasing population and development and only less of the solid waste is being recycled. A clean environment is the basic life supporting system and pure water plays a prominent role in balancing the ecosystem. Therefore, this study identifies to overcome the increase of solid waste in a river by the construction of a waste collector prototype. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed.
