РЕГУЛЯЦИЯ МЕЛАНОГЕНЕЗА ПРИ ДИСХРОМИИ КОЖИ
Get PDFAim: to examine the role of immune, biochemical and hormonal factors in the regulation of melanogenesis in patients with chromatopathy. Patients and methods: we observed 226 patients with various forms dyschromia skin. Age of the patients was in the range of 16 to 55 years. The frequency of females (n =157) prevailed over the male sex (n =69) 2,3 times. The disease duration ranged from 3 weeks to 12 years. For the study of melanogenesis in vitiligo, nevi and melasma were studied parameters of the immune, endocrine and lipid peroxidation — antioxidant system. Results: melanocytes are responsible for the change in concentration a- chromatophorotropic hormone and adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) decrease or increase melanogenesis. Activation process is also associated with UFOs. Comparison of the level of system components lipid peroxidation (LPO) – antioxidant system (AOS) suppressor (CD8 +) lymphocyte activity vitiligo patients showed that the most pronounced suppressive effect was observed in patients with high levels of lipid peroxidation. At the same time, patients with hyperpigmentation found a significant negative relationship with СD4+. It should be noted a negative relationship CD16+-lymphocytes with indicators pituitary- adrenal axis in patients Dyschromias (r = -0,318 vitiligo, r = -0,512, r = -0,4578 — in nevi and melasma, respectively). Conclusions: the results showed that vitiliginozny process, especially actively expressed, proceeds with the intensification of lipid peroxidation processes, changes in the state of AOS and immunity. With the increased level of hyperpigmentation CD95+-cells led to a weakening of apoptosis and cause increase in the number of melanocytes. When there is insufficient apoptosis hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation and when — excessive apoptosis. To find mechanisms regulating skin pigmentation necessary to determine a-chromatophorotropic hormone, adrenocorticotropic hormone and neutral endopeptidase.Цель исследования: изучить роль иммунных, биохимических и гормональных факторов в регуляции меланогенеза у больных с дисхромиями кожи. Пациенты и методы: под наблюдением находились 226 больных с различными формами дисхромии кожи, из них 157 женщин и 69 мужчин. Возраст пациентов варьировал 16 до 55 лет. Длительность заболевания колебалась от 5 нед до 18 лет. Для исследования меланогенеза при витилиго, невусах и мелазме были изучены параметры иммунной, эндокринной и системы перекисного окисления липидов — антиоксидантной системы. Результаты: меланоциты отвечают на изменение концентрации a-меланинстимулирующего гормона и адренокортикотропного гормона снижением или повышением интенсивности меланогенеза. Активация процесса связана также с ультрафиолетовым облучением. Сопоставление содержания компонентов системы перекисное окисление липидов (ПОЛ) — антиоксидантная система (АОС) с супрессорной (CD8+) активностью лимфоцитов у пациентов с витилиго показало, что наиболее выраженный супрессорный эффект отмечался у больных с высоким уровнем ПОЛ. В то же время у пациентов с гиперпигментацией обнаружена сильная отрицательная связь с СD4+. Также имеет место отрицательная связь CD16+-лимфоцитов с показателями гипофизарно-надпочечниковой системы у пациентов с дисхромией (r = -0,318 при витилиго, r = -0,512, r = -0,4578 — при невусах и мелазме, соответственно). Выводы: результаты исследования показали, что витилигинозный процесс, в особенности активно выраженный, протекает с интенсификацией процессов ПОЛ, изменением состояния антиоксидантной системы и иммунитета. При гиперпигментации повышенное содержание CD95+-клеток приводило к ослаблению апоптоза и обусловливало увеличение числа меланоцитов. При гиперпигментации наблюдается недостаточный апоптоз, а при гипопигментации — избыточный. Для поиска механизмов регуляции пигментации кожи необходимо определение a-меланинстимулирующего гормона, адренокортикотропного гормона и неприлизина.
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
