Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Full text link“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Full text linkWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Perhatian pementah kepada keluarga miskin yang mengalami ganguan kesehatan tidak hanya ditujukan kepada penyakit fisik semata tetapi juga terhadap keluarga miskin yang mengalami ganguan jiwa seperti upaya preventip berupa penyulihan tentang ganguan jiwa yang ditunjukan oleh rumah sakit jiwa melalui Badan Pembina Kesehatan jiwa masyarakat dan berkerjasama dengan lintas sektoral. Namun kenyataanya kejadian ganguan jiwa masih tetap tinggi, khususnya pada Rumah Sakit Jiwa Daerah Propinsi Jambi, dimana jumlah kunjugan pasien rawat inap pengguna kartu sehat dari tahun ketahun mengalami peningkatan. Ada 4 sumber utama penyebab stressoryang dihadapi keluarga yaitu kontak penuh stress seorang anggota keluarga dengan kekuatan di luar keluarga, stressor tradisonal dan tressor situasional. Oleh karena itu perlu diadakan penelitian untuk mengetahui gambaran faktor-faktor beban kemiskinan dengan stress kejiwa pasien pacsa rawat inap pengguna kartu sehat.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan belah lintang (Cross Sectional). Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Lokasi penelitian adalah wilayah kerja Rumah Sakit Jiwa Daerah Propinsi Jambi. Jumlah responden 51 orang dan pengumpulan data dilakukan dari tanngal 7-29 April 2004. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dioleh dengan analisa deskriptif dalam bentuk distribusi frekuensi dengan menggunakan fasilitas komputer.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa gambaran beban kemiskinan yang dapat menyebabkan stress berdasarkan urutan besarnya penyebab adalah lingkungan pekerjaan (58,8%), kesesuaian pekerjaan (56,9%) jumlah anggota keluarga (45,1%), pemilikan rumah (45,9%) dan pendapatan (37,3%). Kejadian rawat inap pasien gangguan jiwa pengguna kartu sehat (keluarga miskin) banyak terjadian oleh karena stres sedang.
Untuk dapat menekan kejadian strees yang disebabkan beban kemiskin yang meliputi: kesesuaian pekerjaan, lingkunan pekerjaan, jumlah anggota keluarga, kepemilikan rumah, dan pendapatan, dapat disarankan kepada pemerintah untuk penyediakan lapangan pekerjaan baru, membuat standarisasi lingkungan pekerjaan, memaksimalkan program keluarga berencana da

This research type is descriptive research with approach to cross sectional. As for reseach method, used descriptive method. Research location is region work Mental Hospital of Jambil Province Area. The Amounts of respondent are 51 people and data collecting is done from April, 7 to April, 29 2004. Gathered data is later, then processed with descriptive analysis in the form of frequency ditribution by using computer facility.

Kecoa merupakan jenis serangga yang biasanya hidup di sekitar rumah, dan dapat sebagai vektor penyakit selain dapat merusak barang-barang dan menimbulkan bau yang tidak sedap. Pengendalian kecoa dengan insektisida mempunyai banyak kelemahan, salah satu alternatif selain dengan insektisida yaitu dengan menggunakan perangkap dengan pemberian umpan di dalamnya. Di Perumahan Palm Asri, keberadaan kecoa menjadi hama atau pengganggu bagi penhuninya, dan belum banyak yang melaksanakan pengendalaian. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kesukaan kecoa terhadap jenis umpan kelapa bakar, misis dan kacang, mengetahui spesies dan stadium kecoa. Metode yang digunakan adalah pre eksperimen dengan menggunakan rancangan "Post Test Only Design". Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari uji statistik dengan Kruskal Wallis terdapat perbedaan jumlah kecoa yang tertangkap dengan jenis umpan kelapa bakar, misis dan kacang (p=0,000) dan jenis kelapa bakar merupakan umpan yang paling disukai. Jenis Periplaneta americana didapat 90,37% dan jenis Blatella germanica 9,63%, sedangkan stadium dewasa 52,59% dan nimfa 47,41%.

A cockroach is kind of insects whuch usually lives around the house and may became a factor far diseasers, besides it can lamage goods cause a bad smell. To control the cockroach by using insecticides has many disadvantages and another alternative besides using insecticides is by the use of trap provided with some baits inside.
InPalma housing complex cockroaches are consideredas pests and diturbances for the household and many pople haven't conducted the conrol. the purpose of this research in to know cockroaches kinds of baits roasted coconut, brown rice and nut, to know species and cockroach stadium.
The metod used is pre experiment by using "Post Test Only Design". The result of this research is to point out that Statisticat test with Kruskal Wallis there is a difference amount on cockroach which caught by kind of baits roasted coconut, very much.

Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more

Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
