Agent & Supplier e-Marketplace (A&S.com) / Mohammad Aiman Ismail
E-marketplace is an electronic platform where buyers and sellers meet to conduct business transactions. An e-marketplace maker plays a major role in providing and managing the e-marketplace facilities for the buyers and sellers. The exchanging of product, information and money mainly occurred between the buyers and sellers. Currently, the process of dropshipping is conducted through social network and communication applications. Several constraints in conducting business through social networks and communication applications are the cumbersome interaction for personal and business use as well as the difficulties in conducting transactions among the market participants. Hence, Dropship Agents and Suppliers e-Marketplace (A&S.com) is developed to assist the agents and the suppliers to conduct business in a more systematic way. The system’s core function is focused on the interactions and transactions among the dropship agents and the suppliers. This prototype system is derived from the development process conducted by adapting the Waterfall Model of the SDLC. The methodology comprises of six sequential steps which are planning, analysis, design, development, testing and evaluation as well as the documentation phase. The prototype is scheduled to be tested and evaluated in terms of functionality and usability by three (3) expert users and thirty (30) respondents. Defect detection in weld zone using ultrasonic non-destructive testing / Muhammad Aiman Ismail
The defects in the materials can be tested by using Non-destructive testing
(NDT). NOT is defined as a testing of material, component or assembly by
means, which do not affect its ultimate use. One of common methods in NOT is
Ultrasonic testing (UT). UT is a non-destructive technique of describing the
depth or interior structure of a test piece with high-frequency sound waves. UT
can be utilized for flaw discovery, dimensional estimations and material display.
Therefore, by using UT, the defect of the plate can be determined. The defect of
Plate No. 14 B was located on the middle of the plate with the depth of half of
the thickness, which was 5.1 mm. For plate No.6, the defect was detected from
the position 2 by the depth of 5.5 mm as half of the thickness. Thus, the defect
was located on the middle of the welded plate. For plate No. 13, the defect was
determined from the position 2 by the depth of 7.0 mm as half of the thickness.
That is why, the defect was detected at the centre of the welded plate. While, for
plate No.1, the probe was moved to position 2 and the defect was obtained at
the depth of 1.4 mm and sound path, S of 26.2 mm. Lastly for plate No.2, the
probe was moved to position 2 and the defect was obtained at the depth of 5.0
mm and sound path, S of 30.0 mm. In conclusion, the defect present in weld
zone on the plate is successfully determined using ultrasonic testing by
analyzing graph signal of ultrasonic testing

Next, the second part or the case study contains the background, organizational structure, products and services that Mizuno provides and also their strategy being worldwide. The main objective of this case study to analysed the strength, weakness, opportunities and threats of our product that we chosen from Mizuno Group stuffs to make some innovations. The SWOT analysis help us to identify which part that we can improve and reduce the weakness in order to compete others brand and be number 1 in sports industry. In this case study, I will explain the problems of the Mizuno racket badminton that grab my attention and provide our recommendation to solve the problems. The problems that have been identified is price is higher than normal racket, so people that want to buy for leisure play can’t afford it. Then, the fold and unplug innovation will make the racket more easier to be broke if not handle with carefully and last one problem for professional player to adapt the new change in games. During this pandemic era, challenge that Mizuno Group face is not just their rivals in same industry and same level that keep produce higher good quality, services and innovation technology. The current challenge that almost everyone faced is to build back and recover from lockdown before this. As we know, there are so many other sports retailers that offer great product and services just like Mizuno Group. Mizuno known as a product apparels and equipment that have a high quality and technology with reasonable price. However, there are still some room for improvement that Mizuno can figure out on how to put their products is the best among other sports retailer

Construction disputes are common in the industry because involvement of various parties in a project. Because of that, the dispute occurs especially for payment to the subcontractors. Payment disputes occurs when a business have been provided by one side, but the other side refuse to pay the amount based on the work done by the other side. Even though our government has introduced many rules and obligation that have in form of subcontract to solve the problem of payment disputes, there are still many cases where the sub-contractors received the payment late than usual. The objective of this research is to identify the main factors of payment disputes from the main contractor to the subcontractors in the subcontracting procurement. The target respondent for this research is subcontractors from the grade G7 at the Klang, Selangor. The result was in form of descriptive statistics where the mean of each variable was identified by analyzing the data with the latest version of SPSS 25. The result indicates that factors influencing payment disputes is different by each party involved. This paper can contribute to the main factors towards the payment disputes in subcontracting procurement

Physicochemical characterization of edible bird nest extract as functional ingredients in the instant soup application / Mohamad Haziq Aiman Ismail
Edible bird nest (EBN) is one of the natural resources that rich in functional properties such as protein and carbohydrate. However, recently, there is lack of study regarding to the EBN protein extraction. This is believed due to the lack of standardize protein extraction method. On top of that, the current work was caried out to compare the physicochemical characterization of EBN hydrolysate with different type of extraction method. Alkaline hydrolysis and heat extraction method are both methods that will be compared. Four type of analysis that will be operate is yield, viscosity, FTIR and DPPH assay. The viscosity for all the EBN samples were in the ranges of 2000 to 3000 mpa.s. This is believed due to the same type of drying method. The absorption spectrum shows the functional group that present in the EBN samples. A broad absorption band in the 3 267.22-3 275.29 cm-1 range was discovered and identified as hydrogen bonded (O-H) stretching vibration indicating the moisture content in the sample. Besides, at the peak that near to 1400 cm-1, the existence of polysaccharide group. Then, the formulation of EBN based instant soup would be done by using Response Surface Method (RSM). The design used to for this formulation is Centre Composite Design. EBN, mushroom powder, and skimmed milk percentage weight are the manipulated variable that will be the factor in this formulation. This formulation will be run by using Design Expert 13th edition software. After the optimization, the optimum condition to formulate EBN based instant soup with high value of antioxidant activity are 39.54% of EBN, 18.64% of mushroom powder and 18.96% of skimmed milk. The percentage error obtained from the predicted antioxidant activity by RSM compared to actual antioxidant value is 5.32% which less than 10 %. This shows that the model is valid to be use

Car exhaust waste heat recovery using hexagon shaped thermoelectric generator / Muhammad Fairuz Remeli, Baljit Singh and Aiman Ismail
Heat recovery technology using thermoelectric has attracted many research intentions mainly for its ability to generate power passively. The automotive engine usually produces waste heat ranging from 30-40% due to the thermodynamic limit. The use of thermoelectric generator (TEG) for waste heat recovery and power generation could increase the efficiency of the internal combustion engine system. This research developed and investigated a heat recovery system using a thermoelectric generator (TEG) for power generation. A thermoelectric generator (TEG) consisted of thermoelectric modules, hexagonal pipe connector and heat sinks was built and connected to an exhaust pipeline. A theoretical model was developed to access the thermal and electrical performance of the TEG system. The theoretical model consisted of the heat transfer mechanism including the thermal resistance networks from the flue gas to TEG and the heat sink. The electrical power output was determined using the Seebeck principle. The early stage of finding reveals that the system was able to produce an open circuit voltage of 0.13 V for a small temperature gradient of 3ᵒC between the cold and hot surface of the TEG. The further improvement of the system is currently under investigation for producing higher power. In the future, this system hopefully could replace the car battery for charging the alternator as well as increasing the overall efficiency of the engine system
