No full textTopic of the diploma thesis: Problem solving in the teaching of mathematics Objective: Problem solving is a universal cognitive process and is thus essential not only in our daily lives but also in research and at school. The aim of this diploma thesis is to give an answer to the question of how different problem-solving strategies can be implemented in class. Consequently, the findings may help develop a realistic concept of teaching and practising problem-solving skills. Implementation: This diploma thesis is divided into two parts. The first one serves to provide some theoretical information on problem solving. The theory also comprises definitions from a psychological, a mathematical and a didactical point of view. Besides, there is an introduction to the problem-solving methods. The second part is the more practical part. A study of stability and bifurcation analysis in discrete-time predator-prey system involving the Allee effect
No full textThis paper deals with a discrete-time predator-prey system which is subject to an Allee effect on prey. We investigate the existence and uniqueness and find parametric conditions for local asymptotic stability of fixed points of the discrete dynamic system. Moreover, using bifurcation theory, it is shown that the system undergoes Neimark-Sacker bifurcation in a small neighborhood of the unique positive fixed point and an invariant circle will appear. Then the direction of bifurcation is given. Furthermore, numerical analysis is provided to illustrate the theoretical discussions with the help of Matlab packages. Thus, the main theoretical results are supported with numerical simulations

No full textBu çalışma, Bursa Uludağ Üniversitesi Sosyal Bilimler Enstitüsünde Mustafa Üstünova'nın danışmanlığında Seval Yumuş tarafından hazırlanan "Kemal'in romanlarında sosyal değerler" adlı yüksek lisans tezine dayanılarak hazırlanmıştır.Kültür ve değerler, bir toplumun yüzyıllar öncesinden getirdiği ve gelecek nesillere aktardığı en önemli manevî mirastır. Kültürü ve değerleri birbirinden ayrı düşünmek mümkün olmadığı gibi bunların aktarımını doğru şekilde yapmak ve kültür ve değerleri çağın gereklerine göre revize etmek de son derece önemlidir. Değerlerin toplumlar için öneminin fark edilmesiyle son yıllarda değerler, hayatın her alanında öne çıkarılmaktadır. Edebiyatçılar ise değerleri, eserleri yoluyla geçmişten günümüze taşıyan önemli kültür ve değer aktarıcılarıdır. Türk edebiyatı yazarlarından Orhan Kemal de romanlarında pek çok değere sıkça vurgu yaparak bu konudaki hassasiyetini göstermiştir. Orhan Kemal’in, romanlarında hak değerine ne şekilde yer verdiği ise bu çalışmanın konusu olmuştur.Culture and values are communities’ most valuable moral inheritance for future generations. Culture and values are inseparable concepts which require correct propagation and revisions appropriate to the prevailing conditions of an age. With the recent recognition attributed to them, values are being promoted even more intensively. Literature is an important conveyor of culture and values in this context. Half Inverse Problem for the Impulsive Diffusion Operator with Discontinuous Coefficient

In this paper, by using the Hocstadt-Lieberman and Yang-Zettl's methods we show that if p(x) and q(x) are known on the interval (pi/2; pi), then only one spectrum suffices to determine p (x); q( x) functions and beta, h coefficients on the interval (0; pi) for impulsive diffusion operator with discontinuous coefficient
Dynamical analysis and chaos control of a fractional-order Leslie-type predator-prey model with Caputo derivative
No full textIn this paper, the dynamical behaviors of a discrete-time fractional-order population model are considered. The stability analysis and the topological classification of the model at the fixed point have been investigated. It is shown that the model undergoes flip and Neimark-Sacker bifurcations around the co-existence fixed point by using the bifurcation and the normal form theory. These bifurcations lead to chaos when the parameter changes at critical point. In order to control chaotic behavior in the model result from Neimark-Sacker bifurcation, the OGY feedback method has been used. Furthermore, some numerical simulations, including bifurcation diagrams, phase portraits and maximum Lyapunov exponents of the presented model are plotted to support the correctness of the analytical results. The positive Lyapunov exponents demonstrate that chaotic behavior exists in the considered model

Conceptual development of ethical climate and its impacts on individuals and organizations
No full textAksoy, Seval (Dogus Author)“Örgütsel Etik İklim (ÖEİ)” kavramı özellikle 2000’li yıllarda üzerinde fazlasıyla araştırma yapılmış olan bir örgütsel davranış çalışma konusudur. Yapılan bu çalışmada, ÖEİ’nin örgütsel özdeşleşme (ÖÖ), örgütsel bağlılık (ÖB) ve kişiörgüt uyumu (KÖU) kavramlarıyla olan ilişkileri, Kocaeli’nde faaliyet göstermekte olan imalat firmalarında yapılan bir uygulamalı çalışma ile test edilmiştir. Analiz sonuçlarına göre, ÖEİ ile ÖÖ ve ÖB arasında pozitif ilişkinin bulunduğu, ayrıca ÖEİ ile ÖB ve ÖÖ arasındaki ilişkide KÖU’nun kısmi ara değişken rolü oynadığı tespit edilmiştir.The concept of “Organizational Ethical Climate (OEC)” is a subject matter of organizational attitude research study on which many researchers have been conducted so far, especially after 2000’s. In this research, relationships among OEC and organizational identification (OI), commitment (OC) and personorganization fit (POF) are analyzed through an empirical research conducted in manufacturing firms located in Kocaeli. Results indicate that there are positive relationships between OEC and OI, as well as OEC and OC, also POF mediates the relationships between OEC and OI / OC
Controlling chaos and Neimark-Sacker bifurcation in a discrete-time predator-prey system
No full textThis article is about a discrete-time predator-prey model obtained by the forward Euler method. The stability of the fixed point of the model and the existence conditions of the Neimark-Sacker bifurcation are investigated. In addition, the direction of the Neimark-Sacker bifurcation is given. Moreover, OGY control method is to implement to control chaos caused by the Neimark-Sacker bifurcation. Finally, Neimark-Sacker bifurcation, chaos control strategy, and asymptotic stability of the only positive fixed point are verified with the help of numerical simulations. The existence of chaotic behavior in the model is confirmed by computing of the maximum Lyapunov exponents
Maviküfe dayanıklı Ege bölgesi için geliştirilen bazı tütün hatlarının verim ve kalite özellikleri üzerine araştırmalar

Yayınlanma izni olmayan tezlerin basılı kopyalarına Üniversite kütüphaneniz aracılığıyla (TÜBESS üzerinden) erişebilirsiniz.ÖZET.Ege Bölgesi için geliştirilen maviküfe dayanıklı ileri hatlarda çeşitli karakteristikler yönünden yapılan analizler sonucu, bu tütünlerin ana karakterlerini belirlemek ve yörelerine uygunluklarını araştırmak bu çalışmanın amacını oluşturmuştur. Anter kültüründen yararlanılarak geliştirilen 33 ileri hat ile diallel analiz yöntemi kullanılarak seçilen 10 ileri hat ve standart olarak alınan 6265, 101/215, 317/5, Ege 64 çeşitleri olmak üze re toplam 47 tütün çeşit ve hatları 1986 ve 1987 yıllarında Menemen ve Helvacıköy yörelerinde denemeye alınmıştır. Çiçeklenme süresi, bitki boyu, yaprak sayısı, yaprak boyutları, kuru yaprak verimi, yaprak ekspertizi, taplam ve indirgen şeker, toplam azot, protein azotu çözünür azot, toplam alkaloid, petrol eteri ekstraktı, pH, rutubet, ham kül, asitte erimeyen kül, sodyum, potasyum, kalsiyum, magnezyum ve klor analizleri yapılarak hatlara ait veriler standart ortalamaları ile karşılaştırılmıştır. İncelenen özellikler bakımından hatların önemli bir kısmının standartların' ortalamasını geçtiği belirlenmiştir. Bazı tütün çeşit ve hatlarının, morfolojik, tarımsal ve kalite özellikleri yönünden yöre ve yıllara göre farklı değerler verdikleri görülmüştür. Buna. bağlı olarak besin maddelerince zengin ve ta ban karakterde olan Menemen toprağına göre, kır karakter gösteren ve tipik tütün toprağı özelliğine sahip Helvacıköy yöresinde yetiştirilen tütün çeşit ve hatları daha kaliteli bulunmuştur. Amerikan Grad sistemi üzerinden yapılan fiziksel ekspertiz sonuçlarına göre; Menemen yöresine ait tütünler Kapa kalitede bulun muştur. Helvacıköy yöresinde 1986 yılında 25, 1987 yılında 19 çeşit ve hat, AG değeri aldığından bu yöre tütünlerinde ekonomik analiz yapılmıştır. Denemenin yürütüldüğü 1987 fiatları üzerinden tütünlerin brüt üretim değerleri ile ağırlıklı ortalama fiatları saptanarak 6/1-A, 38/2, 6/2, 38/1,137,171, 191, 65,52 nolu hatların ön sıralar da yer aldıkları belirlenmiştir.önemli tarımsal ve kalite özellikleri bakımından incelenen tütün çeşit ve hatlarının olumlu ve olumsuz yönlerini ortaya koymak amacıyla yetiştirildikleri yöre ve yıllardaki performansları dikkate alınarak kalite değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır. Yapılan kalite değerlendirmesinde tütün hatlarının IV ayrı kalite grubunu oluşturdukları ve birinci kalite grubunda 204, ikinci kalite grubunda 183, üçüncü kalite grubunda 137, 156, 159, 169, 171, 6/1-A, dördüncü kalite grubunda 52, 65, 132, 160, 161, 176, 6/2,16/1, 32/1, 38/3- nolu hatların yer aldıkları belirlenmiştir- 88 - SUMMAHX The objective of the study was to define the main characters obtained by the results of various analysis on the blue mould resist ant tobacco lines selected by different breeding methods for Aegean Region, and their adaptation suitability
